We all know how good a crime writer he is, but I didn't know that he could also do horror. There were moments when I came very close to whimpering in fear. This is a short story, but don't let's its length fool you. This story packs a major punch, and will definitely not let you breath until you devour it in one single gulp. Highly recommended

In typical Gorevan fashion, "While You Sleep" is atmospheric and terrifying, with a premise which lingers long after the final page has been turned. A quick and compelling read!

A short yet a strong story in itself, it is a perfect for any horror fans, not factors of extreme horror but has a sense of chilling in it.

Short Sharp Shocks

As always with Alan Gorevan's books, the writing packs a punch. Within a few short chapters, the tension in the story is ramped up. From an innocuous start, the end accelerates and gathers speed until you turn the last page. Breathless and full of vivid imagery. Excellent.
