Ticker Knits does it again with a second hand knitted design collection, in-my-humble-opinion, featuring the use of our 'second language', that of ACRONYMS. The use of acronyms, abbreviated versions of longer thoughts or word strings, is not new at all, but the frequency at which we use them in our fast past world has certainly accelerated. Whether texting or twittering, we have been forced to say or knit-what-you-mean in quicker and briefer forms. In this volume there are two sweaters, the IAS (It's Always Something) and YOLO (You-Only-Live Once) pullis; a cowl and hat to match the IAS pull and a hat to match the YOLO pull and finally a scarf for all time, the TLC (Tender-Locing-Care) scarf. The best thing about this collection and about the Ticker Knit Method is that any acronym can be inserted in each of the patterns - customize your own message, use your own favorite acronyms = KNIT-WHAT-YOU-MEAN.
