A Baker's Dozen #11
Stirring Up Trouble: Christian Cozy Mystery
The former actor and current mayor of Stone Springs, Stephen Montgomery, is on his way to Sunny Cove to campaign for governor. Sammy and Rob are particularly excited about this since one of the main issues Montgomery wants to address is homelessness. They’ve been trying so hard to get funds for a shelter, and this might be just what they need.
But when Stephen Montgomery is sabotaged along every step of the campaign trail, Sammy begins to think this is about more than just politics.
Follow Sammy as she sniffs out another mystery, all the while being careful not to stir trouble and wind up in hot water herself.
Stirring Up Trouble is a sweet and clean cozy mystery with great characters, a small town and spoonfuls of surprise.

I loved these characters and the goodness in their hearts. I’m not one to seek out a Christian series but I wasn’t beat over the head with it. I am a firm believer in the golden rule even if I am an atheist. I have worked with the homeless in my town so that hit home for me. Sammy was a delight to get to know. The entire series was super cute and each story is pretty short.
Anyone wanting clean quick reads with characters who feel like family and friends will enjoy this.
Narration by Joanna Roddy was spectacular. She does amazing voices.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review

This is a nice little cozy mystery series that can be read out of order if you’re so inclined. This particular installment had a good story line and the favorite characters are all there. This wasn’t my favorite but it was a nice break from the seriousness of my latest reads.

Did not expect the culprit in this crime! The characters are lovable and I enjoy how their stories have developed throughout this series. This is a great, quick read!

This was a fairly awful read. I am giving it one more point for the subject matter dealing with Wounded Warriors. With information on how to help.
