The Beauty to his Beast...

"The Irish Don's Black Beauty: Part 2" was truly a story full of angst and drama!#DonBalorisamonster

description

Abduction, abuse, amnesia are just a few of the happenings residing in Conner and Kahlani's tale but Lil' Carter's presence (their smart son) made this book so enjoyable because of his devotion to his mother! Once Conner found out that his black beauty was still alive, well take it from me... REVENGE took center stage
description

then there was the betrayal of a high ranking individual in his clan! The death scenes were cringeworthy... think bombs, machete, arsenic, bombs; saw and more bombs!

Although I didn't care for the dialect used in this story, Rose Marie was able to weave a masterful tale and I'm looking forward to reading the other brother's stories... Cain and Cillins!

4 angsty stars!

Modern day Beauty and the beast...

Beautiful ending to a beautiful series. All I can say is that I love these crazy characters in this book. Loved the accent (lol in my head at least). I’m mad Conner didn’t get to know that the “rat” in his house was also responsible for his beauty being kidnapped. Nevertheless, justice was served Don Bador’s way lol. One part that had me puzzled tho was whether the author was implying that Carter was gay at 6 already 🤔 anyways, I am hoping to read about Cain and Charity, they do look like they’ll be an interesting story.
But all in all.. I did enjoy this story and I look forward to more of this author’s work

See review for part 1.

Yes, I think part two was wayyy better, which is rare for a sequel to outdo the original.

Part one was more lust and obsession amid violence.

Part two was more love and devotion amid psychopathy.

Yes, I still recommend this book with reservations about the accent, grammar, and misspellings.

Like I said for part one, the story was too good to get a score less than 5 stars.

She was his beauty to his beast

Finding his beauty, Kahlani brought a new light to Don Balor's life, especially with their son Carter, who just melted Connor's heart. But things were not easy, the couple had to deal with amnesia and PTSD. Connor was just not patient enough to let Kahlani heal at her own pace and did not handle the situation as he should have. He really needed her and Carter in his life to feel some normalcy. To make matters worse, there were disloyal folks in the group who betrayed Don Balor, and we know how he handled them, especially since they threatened his family. Being the Don of Dons, Don Balor has gotten everything he wanted. He and Kahlani finally get their HEA. It was a long hard fight but they made it.

This book did not hold my attention as the first one. To me, the flow was off. We don't know whom Conner's mother married and we don't know who the adopted child is either. Just as in the first book, Connor and Kahlani's relationship seemed to be just centered around sex. And also, just like the first one, this book is in dire need of a re-edit. What I did enjoy about the book is Carter's grown man personality. He's so cute. We see Kahlani grow from a naive young girl into a mature woman who's life experiences over the past four years has molded her into the one she's become. I also got a kick out of the brother/ cousin's relationship with each other. They were truly funny. With the childhood they had, it's amazing they are still functional.

Good Good

This was a good follow-up to an explosive first story, but I was little disappointed because of the many typos. This story gives us a look at what happens to Beauty when she disappears for four years. I think the writer doesn't fully flesh this story out, sometimes it seems as if its a little rushed. But I do have to say the real star of most of the story is Carter. The writer gives a more complete look at who this child is and the insight and humor is over the top. Overall it was a good story ,it would've been nice to see Connor and Kahlani enjoy and grow with this pregnancy and them getting Mason. I look forward to the stories about the other family members. Hopefully we get a chance to see this family again for a visit.

Wow !!!!

Wow what can I say. I love the style of Rose Marie writing. She is now hands down my favorite author. I can’t wait to read about the other O’Sha brothers. Connor is the best part of the story. I found myself laughing right alone side him and Beauty at times in the book. And Carter you can not read this book and say that you just did not want to hug him every time he opened his mouth. This is a must read again and again. Love, Love this story. Rose Marie please continue to write more stories like this one.

Disappointed! The story line had the makings of a superb book. However, there were so many repeated words, grammatical and tense errors I became lost and confused. I couldn't finish reading it.There is no way this book was proofread before printing. If you are an avid reader you will be wasting your time and money purchasing this book.

Just, no

I gave book one 3 stars hoping that with the feedback the author would take the feedback into consideration when writing the second. The book just is not my cup of tea.

Young

Young characters, put in situations for what I would expect from older characters. But, putting that aside the storyline and characters were pretty good.

Talk about sizzling hot and funny!

I was so in love with this book! Wow talk about a crazy psychopathic lover. Conner is so romantic and deeply in love with someone he never imagined. I love Kay and her friends are so crazy funny. This book had me laughing in tears. I love all the characters. I hated the betrayal and was surprised on so many levels. This has become one of my fav books. I really have to say rose Marie out done herself by making you feel the characters emotions as if you are right there with them.
If you haven't read these two books your are missing out on one amazingly hot read. Check out the Irish cons black beauty part one and two. Promise you won't be disappointed. I loved every moment of these books and was on the edge of my seat literally.
Most certainly a page turner and fall to your knees funny. Little Conner has taken my heart and I know love me some Irish men! They seem so hot the love scene was out of this world and without giving to much away I was surprised of who showed up as a surprise guest at the wedding. I was crying so hard and laughing at the same time. Awesome read. Well done Rose Marie. I can't wait to have my chocolates and settle to read more of her up coming books.

Proof read

This was a beautiful story, but I had a hard time reading it because of all the grammatical errors and extra words. While reading I had to insert/remove punctuation from the several pages. Also, I had to remove extra words. I don't think that's too much to ask for considering that you expect us to pay for the books.

I really liked the book, but I couldn't enjoy it because I couldn't get into a flow reading. Normally, a book this length would take me days to read, especially when the story line is as great as this book; but once I hit my limit, I would put the book down until the next day. Considering this was the first time reading your books, my first impression of your work wasn't very impressive.

I Enjoyed These Books!!!!

I really enjoyed these two books. I like my men alpha and lil crazy. Lol. Connor was definitely that. Kahlani and Connor went through a lot but ended up tighter in the end. I also enjoyed that the books were not totally dark and that there was some humor as well. Certain parts had me in tears laughing. I Enjoyed the side characters as well. I can't wait for Cillian and Cain's books. I'm loving these crazy Irish men honey. The only thing I would changed about this book were the grammatical errors but even with those I couldn't put them down. Loved these books. Hoping I don't have to wait to long for the brother's books.

Better than I thought!

So I was disappointed in the first book but I'm happy that Rose Marie redeemed herself in this book. I loved everything about it except for the best friend is still annoying, I agree with Conner! Finding and marrying Kelhani was perfect. Loved the drama and everything else about this book. The editing is still needs a lot of work but the storyline and ending was good. Now I can't wait to read the bothers story especially the one with the black bestfriend who seems more than a friend. That should be a good read.

Excellent Story, But...

Again with the grammatical errors! "The Irish Don's Black Beauty: Part Two" was a REALLY outstanding story. Kahlani's and Conner found their way back to each other with young Carter in tow (let's get Carter all grown up and tell his story!!!)! There are debts to be paid by those who conspired to keep the young lovers apart, and a shocking betrayal! As with the first novel, the grammatical errors detracted from the story.

Time Line

Conner is the ultimate alpha male. This story was fire. Conner is reunited with his Beauty after 4 years and he sets out to right the wrongs and love her in his psychotic fashion. The time line is confusing. In part 1 a very young Conner goes to Adam’s wedding and meets Bennett, Sinclair and Liam. He talks about their marriages and who they are married to...very confusing. Aside from that the book is gruesomely entertaining.

The abuse and horrors that Margo and Beauty endure are traumatizing but this book is so good at showing the love Conner and Beauty have and why it is so cruel that it is ripped away. I really love this series. Pay attention to the trigger warnings that the author posts this is not the typical romance and may not be for everybody.

This is a very good book. Suspenseful, attention gathering, but the grammatical errors almost made me stop reading it. There are wayyyy too many. I understand a slip here and there, but they were damn near every page.

Warning Triggers

I just would like a love story between a black woman that does include abuse but true devotion and happiness with fun times. It was sad that like in real life black women have to endure so much just for happiness. We do not need to get raped and tortured for a white man to want us.

Conner is batshit crazy but I love this book. The only reason I didn’t give 5 star is because of many editing mistakes but not enough to take away from the story. I literally read both books in 3 days so I need some sleep before I read my next book...lol

Huge let down from the first one. The author needs to work on writings skills. Carter is supposedly 4 years old but acts and talks like a 10 year old. It’s the little things that keep you from getting really stuck in the storey.
