What an interesting story, I'm not one to care about animals in books but these two just made the story. I can really see the beginning of women coming into their own, still haven't quite made it 150 years later.

When Jessie's close friend and roomate dies from the flu, Jessie has to wtie the man her friend was writing to and let him know of her death. She continues to write until he offeres marriage and she sells her home and travels west to Colorado to meet him. They have a falling out over her dogs she brings but he finally realizes his love for her is more important than her dogs.Its a sweet, clean story that is inspiring and a page turner right up to a feel good ending.

cute story
It was fun to read about 2 dogs who were hero’s in their own way. The story was good so romantic. and fun. I really like mail order bride stories.

Jessica’s Teacher
Jessica lost both of her parents and she moved in with her friend Camille and her two dogs. Camille dies and Jessica is so lost without her friend. She has the two dogs and loves them.
She finds out that Camille was writing to a man who is a teacher and owns a farm named Michael. She received a letter two weeks later and she reads the letter to her friend and decides she will let the man know that Camille died.
When a letter comes later they start to write back and forth they form a friendship. Michael’s aunt comes to live with him and Jessica decides she will join him and get married.
Of course she has her dogs with her. But he doesn’t care for dogs or any animal.
I enjoyed reading this book. I had a few laughs. Great story about loss and love growing.

Great story.......
I've just enjoyed reading this story, Jessica's Teacher, from the new series. The authors have written about a woman who has lost her friend, she starts a friendship with him and decides to go meet him. Will she and him suit each other.....She is willing to try and find out.

A spinster leaves her hometown to become a mail order bride
I love that her best friend had 2 dogs that needed her. She was an unusual woman. She was very independent and did not want to have to rely on a man for her decisions.
