Over 100 years ago, a group of witches escaping a second wave of Witch Trials made their way from New England to Whitewater, Wisconsin, known as Second Salem. Others, seeking knowledge in spiritualism and the occult, also made their way to the city and, through their ignorance, unleashed an evil entity poised to destroy the city. Three sisters, the Willoughby Witches, created an incantation strong enough to ensnare the demon. But magic requires payment, and so the sisters sacrificed themselves to keep their city and their family safe. Now, 120 years later, the incantation is at its end and the demon grows stronger every day. Three sisters, three witches, know that now is the time for them to step up and face the creature their ancestors faced and sacrifice whatever they need in order to keep Whitewater safe.
When Joseph Norwalk, Whitewater's new Police Chief, meets Hazel Willoughby, he realizes that there's something unique about the gorgeous brunette. Heatedly arguing with him that she doesn't deserve a ticket because she would never park in front of a fire hydrant, and it's obvious that someone else moved her pickup trick for spite, Joseph is intrigued. Not only does she have spunk and spirit, but she also seems to have a secret. Which is another thing they seem to have in common.

Hazel's Heart was the absolute perfect title for this wonderful new addition to the Willoughby Witches and I couldn't put it down.
Hazel and Joseph met under interesting circumstances and I just knew their road together was going to be full of challenges and boy was I right talk about interesting and intriguing storyline and plot twists, I love stories with awesome supernatural threads and Terri Reid is just brilliant at writing compelling and gripping stories that I just can't put down.

Leaves you wanting more…
This is the second book in the series and I highly recommend that you read them in order. Hazel is just one of 3 sisters who along with their mother, Agnes, have assumed responsibility to renew the 120 year old incantation that holds the evil darkness bound.
These characters are fully formed and delightful. Just enough snark thrown in to keep things light. This story brings you into their realm and is incredibly fast paced, it’s as if the pages are enchanted. (sorry couldn’t resist)
In the last book, Rowan found Henry, in this book Hazel finds Joseph. They meet while he is preforming his duties as a sheriff. Joseph too has a secret he hides but the chemistry between them is undeniable. I can’t wait to read Catalpa’s Curse as this wonderful story progresses.
Terri Reid is an Amazing writer, I was led to this series as I waited, non to patiently, for the next Mary O’Reilly and/or The Shear Disaster Mystery books. Thank You for delivering hours of entertainment Ms Reid.

I did not like this book as much as I loved Rowan's Responsibility. I like the unique kind of magic each of these Willoughby witches possess. This time the insta-love was too much for me. I've started appreciating slow burn romances lately. Regardless a good read.

Does not disappoint
Once again, this author doesn't disappoint her readers! A "can't put it down" story with well rounded characters you'll find yourself cheering for (or booing, depending on the character) My only complaint is that I want book 3 now! Recommend this to anyone who enjoys paranormal adventure and clean romance. No X rating for Ms. Reid's books. Thumbs ☝

Terri Reid is quite talented!
I absolutely loved the Mary O'Reilly series & have to say I was disappointed that it ended. So I was sceptical to start this series about witches, but I'm glad I did. I've enjoyed both books in this series & I look forward to reading more of this story when it's released!

AMAZING!!!
I read the first 2 books in less than 5 hours. I’m patiently waiting for Cat’s story...or Agnes or whomever she can write about. These characters are my favorites (and I’m infatuated with Mary O’Reilly) Thank you Terri Reid for always giving me something to look forward to.

Loving the Willoughbys!!
What can I write that I haven't already said about Terri? Amazing stories...wonderful imagination! How can she keep putting out the different series of books that are each unique? And to thank her....we ask for more! I again find myself totally wrapped up in the story and so sad when it ends. The good part is I know there's more to come!

I just don't know if I could ever not like a book that Terri Reid writes. Even though this story is still not my favorite in comparison to the Mary books, I think the Willoughby Withces are growing on me. Hazel's story was fun, suspenseful, and sweet. Ms. Reid's gift is the gift of making characters you wish you actually knew!

The thrill continues
Hazel is falling for the new chief of police, Joseph. Joseph is keeping a big secret from everyone. There are twists and turns that lead to a very unusual decision the author made about Hazel's future. I like Joseph's grandfather so I hope we get to see more of his family. Donovan is a big unknown still too.

The Willoughby sisters are really special. I loved the characters, especially the goats.
This is a family love story of good vs evil. I loved the twist at the end.

Awesome Read, enchanting!

Couldn't put it down
I started at the beginning and soon realized I wasn't able to put it down till I was finished. Another one by Teri Reid that is a hit. I am hoping that the next book comes out soon.

I enjoyed this 2nd book of Willoughby Witches. Joseph and Hazel are great together. I like Hazel's mischievous personality. I hope there will be another book with Cat's story.

I enjoy this series!
So three witches, and an evil that needs to be destroyed. Can this coven of witches destroy this evil of will it win, and take over? I am looking forward to the next book!

I enjoyed this one at least as much as the first one. The characters continue to develop and more join. I love the magic. (I want to have magic like that)

Another great read!
Book 2 is just as exciting and pages turning as book 1 in The Willoughby Witches. The only criticism I have is the number of grammatical errors and words left out of sentences that could be fixed by a good editor. Can't wait for book 3.

Terri Reid needs to write faster
I devoured this book in three hours.... absolutely loved it. This author has the Midas touch when it comes to writing. Addictive and spellbinding.
