Grounds for murder…

At Kapow Koffee, business is brewing with cats, comic books, and triple iced upside-down caramel macchiatos. Oh, and there’s a dapple dachshund in the mix too.

Turns out, being a successful entrepreneur is exhausting! Owner Kirby Jackson is in desperate need of a break from routine.

Part of that routine includes serving his favorite patron Detective Felicia Strong every morning.

But Kirby’s positive that she’s dating the wrong guy.

When Kirby and Felicia stumble upon the body of a local PI who met his bitter end on the sandy shores of Gaiman Island, they’ll have to work together to solve the rabbit hole of a mystery. Will the case bring them closer or further apart?

The fourth installment in the Comics and Coffee Case Files is a whodunit for the books. Hence it being a book and all. Buy it today!

Decaf Deceit Book 4

Kirby publishes his comic book he drew and His Memaw invites him on a vacation. A man is murdered and Felicia invited him to help with the case. A bit of romance is added into the mix. Fun story with Gambit the dappled Dashie helps make this a perfect cozy adventure a cat cafe is added to the coffee & comic cae on a Florida beach.

Great series

Every book in this series is wonderful. You will start at the first one and read them all quickly. Great writing, wonderful characters and always a great story. You will want to know who the bad guy is and it may not be who you think.

this wonderful series reaches a nice conclusive point in the story. I do hope that there's more of it to come. Kirby stumbles on another murder and this time things don't get personal until they do. And he also does something he should've done in the first book.

Another enjoyable story in the saga. I am a little confused as to how the cat does not cause any anarchy.

Another great read! Kirby is just trying to run his business, Kapow Koffee - a cat cafe & comic book shop. He and his friends just published their first comic and the store is hopping. He doesn't have time to think about anything other than his career. When a party is thrown for the comic release, all he wants to do is enjoy himself. While taking a stroll on the beach, he and his best friend, Detective Felicia Strong, stumble upon a crime scene....a murder. He is happy to offer his help to Felicia while investigating the murder of a private investigator. When things get a little awkward with her, he decides its time to go on vacation with his grandmother. Unbeknownst to him, he can't just walk away from the dead body at home. I loved how the author tied in their other series - the Foodie Files - to this book. Maybe we will see more with a connection between the 2 in future stories. This story is filled with twists and turns. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next in the series.

I received a free advance review copy of this book and am voluntarily providing my honest review. Kirby and Felicia go for a walk on the beach and find a dead body, but the police are already there investigating, and that's just the beginning. You won't want to put this book down, so be prepared to read to the end. I loved it and recommend it.

Enjoyed the next installment of the adventures of Kirby. The plot moved logically from the beginning to end and kept me guessing. I also really enjoyed some clever interweaving from the authors other series which is also amazing.

Lovable nerdy mystery

I absolutely loved this story. It was the best in the series so far. It blends the comic and tv references to make the story interesting. I especially liked the foodie files crossover.
