Wow, it's kind of incredible how I can step away from this series for a few months, come back to it, and give SO LITTLE FUCKS about it. Seriously, aside from Persia and Inuzaka being cute together, there's NOTHING interesting about this volume.

Also, having reread Horimiya last month, it really struck me how boring the story is and have shallow the side characters are. I've said it before and I'll say for the rest of my days, having a strong supporting cast is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT in a romance manga. Yes, some romance manga such as the Kase-san series and A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow can get away with a small and pretty uninteresting supporting cast, but that's rare. The main couple can't always carry their respective series, so having a strong supporting cast to back them up is important to keep the characters engaging. Boarding School Juliet's supporting cast consists of characters that are either a. One dimensional, b. Boring as fuck, or c. Try to be interesting by giving them conflicts to resolve or giving them one redeeming quality, but it still doesn't make them engaging. It's really disappointing and kind of incredible how shallow this cast is and like I mentioned earlier the main couple can't carry the entire series.

So yeah, I'm officially dropping this series. It just doesn't hold up to other romance manga and there's way too many of those out there I'd rather read than this. If you like it, that's fine, but I'm moving on.

Really loved this manga version of Romeo and Juliet! There are these 2 dorms at the Dahlia Academy; The black doggies and White cats and they have this longstanding feud(Like the Capulets/Mantagues) And Persia Juliet and Inuzuka Romio have to keep there love a secret! Really awesome beautiful story and artwork! Highly recommend if you enjoy any Romeo and Juliet Renditions😁😻❤️❤️

Been a while since I read this series. Still awesome. As I was reading this, I couldn't help but think Char and Romio would have made a cute couple in another life.
