As expected “The frustration of not being able to speak English has motivated many ESL to study English.”
In his book, Rio Arai talked about how he had wondered what it actually mean when people says “I wanna be able to speak English”.
(According to him) it means that people want to be able to express themselves quickly just like in their native language.
He also helped me to see a way out of my struggle (in learning English) too.
Specifically, Arai had tried to write diary in Japanese (his mother language) because diary is based on ordinary days and writing it in your first language will be the best approach, since writing diary in English first will be clumsy.
Then translate the diary into English and choose the most important sentence.
After that, get the sentence checked and corrected by a native speaker, and then practice to speak it.
If you are not sure how to pronounce it, you can use Siri and YouTuber as a teacher.
“Arai also said that, on top of being proficient in English, one must also possess other skillset like graphic design in order to compete in a global market. / in order to be able to work around the world. “
