Yoshida ha reunido el coraje para declararse a su jefa, pero esta le da calabazas. Para ahogar las penas, decide pillar una buena cogorza con un amigo suyo y cuando está volviendo, conoce a Sayu, una chica que está deambulando por ahí. Aunque esta intenta seducirlo, Yoshida no cede, pero deja que se quede en su apartamento a dormir.
Al día siguiente, después de conocer la historia de Sayu y cómo esta se ha escapado de casa y ha ido malviviendo y usando el sexo para poder sobrevivir, decide acogerla en su casa. Así empieza una relación de lo más dispar, llena de malentendidos y momentos divertidos, pero con el dramático pasado de Sayu de fondo. ¿Qué la empujó a tomar la decisión de huir y vivir de esa manera?

A cute volume.
Sayu gets a lot more time, and we get a lot deeper into her mind state. Finding out more of what she had to do to survive. On top of that Yoshida gets to shine as not being a loser who takes advantage of a girl in a shitty situation. So plus to that. The series has obvious fanservice but it works for the main character as she's dealing with a traumatic past and dealing with that. I also like the girl Yoshida might be seeing, she's cute and awesome.

A shorter volume than the first, Higehiro Vol 2 steps up to the plate with bolder storytelling and a heavier focus on Sayu’s trauma.
While she struggles to understand how people can be nice to her without expecting anything in return, she is gradually changing. Much like an abused animal warming to a caring owner, seeing this runaway with cripplingly low self esteem laugh and find joy like a normal teenager is beautiful and startlingly emotional.
Yoshida is growing too, in his own way, learning to be open and communicate better. Although he still claims he has no feelings for Sayu, their relationship is developing as one of mutual trust rather than the cheap lust she’s used to, and that really helps cement the characters and their personalities.
An excellent continuation that resolves many of my doubts from the first volume!

We own a comic shop and my husband bought the first volume 8 times (probably by accident) and I scolded him for it. Somehow someone picked it up and was very excited about it. So, heck, we need to sell those 8, so if I'll read it and can tell people what it's about, it'll probably sell better. Boy, I can't say I was blown away, but I did really really like it. It had more meat on the bones than it looks like (I hate those random weird titles on manga). I read both volumes that are out now back to back and am still hungry for more.

Yoshida, yang ingin dipanggil om2 mulanya panik kehilangan si anak SMA.yah antara khawatir atau ada sesuatu yg hilang.
Pada akhinya si Mayu balik lagi dan diberikan izin untuk kerja sambilan. Yashida memang tampak tokoh yang matang dan mampu mengendalikan diri untuk tidak berbuat yang neko2. Bisa disebut kedewasaan.
Di chapter kedua ini memang akan ditemukan pesan moral dan nasihat ttg mengendalikan diri, bertanggung jawab, dan arti rumah.
Cuma sayang komedinya garing. Ga seruuu.
Next ditunggu kelanjutan chapter 3 saat teman kerja sayu berkunjung ke apartemennya.

The comedy is out the window at the start of this volume, delving into Sayu's trauma which really added to her character and why she is the way she is.
I really like the releasionship that she has with Yoshida, it's like the one person she needed to actually be free.

Sayu mulai berkembang. Sosok aslinya mulai terlihat. Ada satu orang lagi yg tahu soal Sayu dan Yoshida. Penasaran dengan arah cerita selanjutnya.
