Brace: An aviation thriller box set

Rate this book
Three blistering thrillers with sky-high action all in one box set. Bringing together The Higher They Fly, Turbulence and Final Approach, this omnibus follows three stories of international espionage and aviation disaster by acclaimed author Christopher Hodder-Williams. Perfect for fans of Clive Cussler, Richard Herman and William H. Lovejoy, you'll be gripped from takeoff. Brace for impact. Praise for Christopher “He has attempted an adventure story and he succeeds marvellously” – The Times “Little men with big technical problems made a fortune for the late Nevil Shute. THE HIGHER THEY FLY is as great a little man’s book as any book I’ve read” – Daily Sketch “A fine suspense novel with meticulous flying details. Being airborne by the fireside is here a near thing to the real thing” – Evening Standard Christopher Hodder-Williams was an English writer, mainly of science fiction, but he wrote novels about aviation and espionage as well. Before his career in writing, Hodder-Williams joined the army in 1944, and served in the Middle East and lived in Kenya and New York, later settling in the UK. Many of his books are early examples of what would later be called techno-thrillers. He also worked as a composer and lyricist, and wrote numerous plays for television.

Great read

Christopher Hodder-williams has found his calling with aviation stories.

These are by far his best work, good gripping edge of the seat stories.
