The Rescue

Rate this book
Political intrigue forced Garth Koslof into early retirement from his position as police detective. His hobby of making high quality violins became fulltime and lead to his relocation to a secluded location in Pennsylvania’s Endless Mountains. Hus partner Estelle, a corporate attorney, had remained in the city but contacted Garth about searching for a coworker, Marshall Godwin, who not been heard from in a quest to find his sister, Cherlyn.
Garth traveled to New Mexico and enlisted the aid of a former law enforcement associate, Sean Caffrey, now working as a private investigator. They soon discovered that what was expected to be a simple missing persons mission was a multifaceted task involving drugs, human trafficking and prostitution. Events and persons on both sides of the United States and Mexican border resulted in further complications.
A confrontation with drug cartel mobsters had resulted in Cherlyn’s kidnapping and Marshall being hospitalized in a coma. The teen prostitute, Marita, that they had befriended was on the run.
