Over one hundred years ago, a group of witches, escaping a second wave of Witch Trials made their way from New England to Whitewater, Wisconsin, known as Second Salem. Others, seeking knowledge in spiritualism and the occult, also made their way to the city and, through their ignorance, unleashed an evil entity poised to destroy the city. Three sisters, the Willoughby Witches, created an incantation strong enough to ensnare the demon. But magic requires payment, and so the sisters sacrificed themselves to keep their city and their family safe. Now, 120 years later, the incantation is at its end, and the demon grows stronger every day. Three sisters, three witches, know that now is the time for them to step up and face the creature their ancestors faced and sacrifice whatever they need in order to keep Whitewater safe. Now that Agnes Willoughby has been reunited with her one true love, will she have to sacrifice that love and even her life in order to save her daughters? Will the shadows from the past, dim the promise of the future? As they face the demon of Samhain, what additional sacrifices will be required of the Willoughbys?

Book 4 in the amazingly delightful Willoughby Witches series brings us full-circle. We have watched through each book as the gorgeous sisters all found love and for me hoping upon hope that their darling mother Agnes would eventually be reunited with her lost love as well and this is that book, but first, there is a pesky demon they all need to band together to get rid of first then each of the beautiful Willoughby Witches can truly begin their Happily Ever Afters.
This was such an amazing series and Agnes' Answer was a brilliant ending, I also wouldn't be disappointed if the series carried on though...
My only negative post is that I never want the books to end. I want the sagas to continue. What happens to Wanda? Does she find her true love? I just also want a continuation of Terri Reid’s characters as I become immersed in them. Thank you for your wonderful stories that take me away into another place for just a moment.
Our Terri Reid has once again given us lovable, complex characters and drawn us into their lives. The first 3 are the stories of her amazing daughters; Catalpa, Rowan and Hazel. In this one we learn about their mother and how together they need each other to defeat the demon. I came to this series late and knew that there would be only 4 parts to this adventure, so I read slowly, not wanting this magical tale to end. Terri Reid is a born storyteller. I love her writing, she draws you in keeping you intrigued page after page. Many Thanks for Sharing Your Gift with us.
A Must Read for the fans of the Willoughby Witches series.
I have been a fan of Terri Reid's books for several years and have always found her stories and the characters in them to be engaging and real. She has a knack for outstanding character development and the ability to weave a story into something personal and leaves you feeling like you are vested in them. This story is no exception and I only hope it is not the final book in this series.
The final instalment of this series, it was obvious what was going to happen, the whole book works towards a battle with the demon as was described in the Willoughby prophecy but the whole thing just fell short. The writing was OK, the story ok, but there was no thrill or suspense, you could guess the next step without reading any further. It kind of felt like 300 pages of build-up to one short chapter of an ending and that was that, the end!

The Willoughby's must face their worst enemy. They face it as a family full of love. This is a real romance story. Without the sex and language. Great for all ages to read.
Another great read by Terri. I hope this isn’t the end of the Willoughby,s. Terri is a awesome author. I love all her books. And when you get to the end you won’t want it to end. Thank you Terri
This series was phenomenal from beginning to end. The characters were deep, rich and I fell in love with them. The magic was my favorite part. I really hope she continues her other series now that this is finished. Some have been ignored for so long.
I picked this book because l have enjoyed ready Terri Reid's books. This one's was no disappointment, I couldn't out it down. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great read!
I am so glad that I found Author Ms. Terri Reid! All her stories are full of hope and love and caring about and for each other. The Willoughby experience continues that same sentiment in each story. Thank you!
With the final days leading up to the Samhain and the return of the ...mosquito, our heroines are still at a loss as to how they will stop this monster. Lives are changed. Hearts are mended. But will love conquer the evil?
I Thoroughly enjoyed the series Feel like I'm losing my best friends when it came to the end of the story. I hope others find this and read the story and enjoy the journey as I did.
I can't wait to read all of Terry Reid's books! After the Mary O'Reilly series and the Brigid's cross series, I chose the Willoughby witches series and now I can't wait to see what she writes next!
This series was good it was the second time I read them I didn’t remember till I was into the first. I wouldn’t suggest reading three consecutively it gets a little boring.
Really liked this series, it moved fast and had a lot going on at every stage. The storyline came together and there were no cliffhangers to leave you wondering about another installment.
This book and the entire series was absolutely amazing. The individual books were so creative and interesting, I didn't know how this series would end. I could read the entire series again and enjoy it kush as much!
Another amazing book from Terri Reid. The characters are so wonderful. You feel like your in the book with them throughout the entire story. . Couldn't put it down.
Once again, I was thoroughly enthralled by the Willoughby Witches story in this book, it has been written as Usual in Terrie Reid's great flare for laying out the characters and making them seem as if they are people you would want to be friends with or want to know.
The last stage in the story around the rising of the Demon and the sisters destiny is brillant, the ending of the story was sooooooo good and the result at the end with a twist was quite unexpected.
A really good read and to be honest has left me feeling like I would like to read more about the lives of the Willoughby Sisters.
This book was a great book to read Terry you are a great Arthor I have read everyone of you were books that I can find. It’s so easy to read and I can’t put it down I have to finish it to see what happened next. Thank you Hazel
A Great conclusion in the series. I loved all of them. I especially loved the importance of family in it and how they were stronger together. I truly believe in that concept.
Terri Reid is an excellent writer. I have read everyone of her series books. I am caught up in book and can't put down till finished. Please keep writing.
