There is just something special about metaphors. I've always loved how author can simply used one metaphor and wrote a beautiful story. I went in with no expectations because this is my first book from the author. But i kid you not, i think this one will be in my comfort books list.

Merry-Go-Round by Takuma Okazaki centers around a young man. About his romantic life. It is a refreshing and realistic love story. Although at first it was a bit confusing but God help me, i cried few times throughout the book T^T im a hopeless romantic, what do you expect :')

To sum it up, the writing is beautiful, the premise of the story is interesting and realistic. Perfect paced and just top notch ending!

I not into romance, the story is nice but not for beginners though it was hard to understand but the ending was nice and it gave mixed feelings too when you read you will understand me

ここまで何度も大掛かりなことして告白されないようにしてるのに、無理矢理告白しようとする男って無理。
しかもその男、婚約者がいるのに「最後にワンチャンあるかも」と未練たらしく女性に「キセツ」を持ちかけたり、高校時代の思い出話したりする。
「自分はNice Guyである」という幻想を抱いている男の独りよがりの青春物語とその未練がましい「美しい終わらせ方」の話。
最後に何か面白いどんでん返しがあるのかと思って最後まで読んだが、ただただ拒否感を感じるだけだった。
