An ugly divorce left Bay bitter. Antonio has exactly what he needs. If Bay would let him in, that is.
After catching his husband in bed with another man, Bay is understandably a little gun shy. When he heads to Vegas for a conference, he never expects to meet a sexy Italian casino owner. Antonio has player written all over him. He’s too much of everything. Bay doesn’t want anything Antonio is selling, except he kind of does, and he hates himself for that weakness.
Antonio has.... issues. There are things he deals with that not everyone can understand. For that reason, he chooses his friends and bed partners very carefully. He watches people, reads them, and only plays with the ones who have that certain neediness in their eyes. Bay is the perfect fit. There’s only one problem to Antonio’s mind. Bay lives over three hundred miles away.
Distance and mistrust make the possibility of a real relationship seem impossible, but Antonio is determined to make Bay his. It’s a good thing the casino owner is used to rigging games in his favor.

January 7, 2021Oh, no one saw the twist coming! This book had characters easy to love. We meet Antonio in book 2 as a client and friend of Raiden who only wants company and to be with someone without sexual interaction. Antonio was a lovely character, strong, honest, and sweet inside - willing to do anything for Bay. He has been betrayed by his lover Jett and is interested in Bay's confidence and quiet personality. Bay was also betrayed by his husband, and the divorce has been hard on him especially now that Ford has left him high and dry in a sense - but mostly left aside for Cruz in a blink of an eye. Blay and Antonio are good together, they close each other's wounds and start to understand their own demons.
But that plot twist wow! I was like 'what!' I won't spoil it for anyone tho. The book was good, romantic, and angsty in a sweet agony that I truly enjoyed!

Unexpected True Love
I have always enjoyed and loved Ms. Parkerson's books and Well-Played is no exception. Bay is so down on himself until he meets Antonio. At first I was with Bay and was very skeptical of Antonio. Ms. Patterson kinda kept you on your toes with him, not sure what his personality was really like or his intentions. But lucky for us and Bay, he just wanted his HEA with Bay. They were so hot and sweet together, healing their wounded souls. "I know I've been waiting forever for you. I just d I dint know I was waiting." is the best line in the book to describe them. Now I can't wait for Derrick and Jett

❤ 🔥A great start as they meet at the bar and Antonio sizzles with hotness. Oh god I love this writers books and this is another gorgeous short story. It seems Fate lead Bay to his true love and happiness. I loved the ending and what happens despite an panic attack they get their HEA. This can be read as a standalone but enjoyed more read in order. Duel POVs included

Bay 38 is at a conference and perfect to be away from his cheating ex-husband.

Set me free
I think we all need Sparkle Feet and Rainbow Tails in our lives. This book surprised me. Both Antonio and Bay were so much more than I was expecting. "I know I've been waiting forever for you. I just didn't know I was waiting." Their jagged edges meld beautifully and I love what they bring out in the other. Together they are the missing pieces they have each been looking for. A love story that will make you believe in lady luck.

Wow
I love how her stories continue from the book before. I admit I saw a few things coming but in the end I still loved it.Antonio was amazing he was a man who wanted someone to love him for the man he's is not for what he has. Bray was just trying to figure out if he was the problem with the few relationships he had including the reason he was divorced.Antonio made him see he wasn't the problem he just hadn't found the right man that truly made him happy and love him.

Good
The introvert known as Antonio meets the caretaker named Bay. This was so mind blowing and a sweet sultry romance. Both have been hurt and don't know what to expect. I enjoyed the book. I am 50/50 on liking Derreck but that may change. Jett is annoying but most are at his age. It was an exciting read and had its ups and downs. So glad to see the mention of Jason and Raiden in this book as well.

Charity Parkerson is a relatively new author for me and I am so glad I found her. I have now read all her books and am never disappointed. Bay and Antonio's story was no different. Antonio comes across as a confident guy but we find out they both have their issues. I won't give any clues to if they find their happy ever after, but you will not be disappointed.

Another great one from Charity
I love most of charity's books and this one is no exception. I cant get enough of the pure passion in thr messy hearts series. Bay and Nino may be my favorite couple so far. I cant wait for Jett, Derreck and the mystery 3rd.

3.8 This was lovely. These books are short so everything happens in the blink of an eye, it either catches you or not. These 2 MC's were great, I enjoyed their story very much.

Was a good read. Sometimes didn’t know what Nino was all about but loved Bay. Ford was really mean to Bay. Good read.
