A horde of savage aliens annex our planet. The leader? The blue alien king Leofric, a towering mass of muscle and cold authority. He demands a me, my body, my womb. I won’t give in… He can take my body, but he’ll never have my heart. Can a powerful king like Leofric ever take no for an answer? This steamy sci-fi romance is a blue alien romance set in Enid Titan's alien romance universe. This is the first book in a new series. If you enjoy hot alien romance and alien savage romance stories, you'll love this sizzling hot book which will leave you dripping with excitement over the alien male/human female pairing!
This book is a hot mess. The things Cosima/Coco does make no sense. She's attracted to Leofric but keeps running away. We never find out why she was running from the Corporation in the first place. Her fake marriage in the beginning also made no sense. The 2 clans fighting over the planet were confusing. I'm not sure what they were doing. The whole pregnancy thing had no impact whatsoever, plus it finishes on a cliffy.

this book was only ok for me.
I didn't realise that when I started reading this book it was number one in a series and was disappointed that there was no conclusion to the story. I did not enjoy it enough to pay the next one to find out what happens.
none of the people or aliens in this book were likable.
The humans were mean and spiteful, some were delusional perhaps bought on by trauma, and some were so brainwashed they continued to follow the company line after the were overtaken by battling aliens still believing their old job titles still gave them power. wtf?
The aliens were brutal killing, assaulting and raping humans for their own pleasure.
I didn't understand why the kings cousin was his queen? If he was not partnered there should have just been no queen.
the main female character was all over the place i could not like her. in one breath she is hating and swearing at the king then she is having sex with him and as soon as they are finished she hates him again. pick a one and stick to it.
she seemed to be having constant orgasms, the sex scenes were a bit much.
one weird part was she has her alien baby cut out of her and the as soon as she wakes up has sex? that is just weird.
The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is the first few pages beguiled me enough to actually purchase the book. If I had gotten this through Kindle Unlimited I may not have left a review, but as I outright paid for the book, I think it's fair.
I got through maybe 25 percent before I gave up. Here are some of the main flaws that stood out. Cosima is a trained nurse who has managed to elude the all powerful Corporation that controls everything for 8 months but... she doesn't bother to read the marriage contract her mother signs for her. And, if the Corporation is after her, why is she so angry with her mother for finding a way off planet? Even if it is not ideal. We also don't find out why she is running from the Corporation. Cosima's personality traits and reactions are not consistent from scene to scene. Makes it difficult to like or sympathize with her.
When the aliens attack Cosima has already run away into the forest...but she comes back! Into a war zone. Because she feels it's safer? You're kidding right?
She is given to the alien as his concubine and at at first she acquiesced, she has seen how brutal they can be. Then she throws food at him. She has seen another human woman branded on her face but she is throwing stuff? People were killed in front of her but she is throwing fruit. And not in a "I'm going to piss him off so he kills me quick" way . The worst part. She screams that his sign language is not manly? I guess the men in the alien culture don't speak, an interesting cultural fact, but that line was so wildly offensive and stupid I actually added a note to the page through the Kindle app.
I do not expect books that I buy for $2.99 to be perfect, but I do expect the story and characters to be compelling enough that I overlook flaws like continuity errors. This book has promise but I think it needs a lot more work.
This is also a cliffhanger, this is according to other reviewers.

It has been quite a while since I have read such a enjoyable, well-paced, intriguing alien romance & it is a splendid start to a new series. The characters are well-developed & interesting with believable reactions to the situations they find themselves in. The plot is interesting & it captures the reader’s attention within the first few pages. There is: a conniving mother manipulates her daughter (Cosima) into a marriage with a rich but dull man (Tucker) then a alien invasion occurs & the leader (King Leofric) of the invading aliens (clan Lammas) demands Cosima as his tribute naturally she is not too impressed with this idea & is quite defiant, twists & turns, drama, action, adventure, intrigue, humans, various kinds of aliens, manipulations, insults, threats, frustration, invasion, humiliation, slavery, defiance, attempted escape, punishment, strange attractions, emotional turmoil, clan rivalry, deceit, betrayal, violence, conflict, vengeful feelings, devious intentions & steamy scenes, although this alien romance has a HFN ending there is a cliffhanger & I look forward to the next book with great anticipation.
Great start to a 3 book series . This is about Cosima ( Coco ) a human sent to Terra I I to be forced into marriage in order for her to escape from being jailed. Her husband is not a good man in fact very cruel. They are invaded by two Alien clans both are very Savage one more so than the other . Her husband is killed during the invasion Coco is chosen by Leofric King of the Clan Lammas of Antares , he is the lesser of the two very cruel clans. He falls in love with Coco . Let it be known this boo is not for anyone because of the sexual issues and language.
I enjoyed this more than I expected to. Ms. Titan writes excellent sex scenes, and the steam level is high. I withheld a star because of all the tribulations the MCs went thru. It just took longer than I felt it should for Cosima to come to terms with her feelings for Leofric. Nevertheless, an enjoyable and satisfying read. Looking forward to the next chapter in their story. Well done, Ms. Titan!
Book one in the Blue Alien Romance Series: The Clans of Antarea series, this book does end on a cliff-hanger. I want to read the next one. This is blue alien king Leofric and Cosima's story there is suspense, drama, danger, evil, villains, and romance. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Leofric - what a character. (fanning myself here and it's middle of winter). I loved the story. This is the first Enid Titan book I've read and I definitely want more and more and..... Just have to make sure my air conditioner is running when I pick up the next book in this series. I want the coordinates to this planet so I can find my very own Leofric.
This was an interesting story. I know aliens have different views on women but the slapping in the face and rape just really irks me. I didn’t like the king at first but he grew on me. Twists n turns.
I received this as an arc and this is my honest and voluntary review.
A lot of editing issues and repetitive descriptions. Over and over to the point I put it down several times. Fmc not a fan of, the alien was okay. Wished the story focused more on an actual relationship but it doesn't. Probably won't read the next one too many issues with this one.
I liked the chapters had titles instead of just numbered or with the name of the person who’s point of view we see in this chapter, such as I’m Going To Kill My Husband. Coco is a very strong, opinionated female who tries to control someone by giving them what they want and having them think they’ve tamed her. Nothing could be further from the truth. Leofric is King of one of the tribes fight for dominance on the planet the humans have been trying to resettle on. They seem to be barbaric, despite their advanced technology. He tries to tame Coco, while she tries to control him. Both are in for a world of pain, emotionally and physically. Can they get past this, recognize and admit to their true feelings.
