TC Matson delivers an unexpected standalone love story that starts with two people who have no desire to be in a committed relationship and friends who intervene.

There’s nothing wrong with being single.
I’m not a woman scorned.
There’s no heartbreak I’m recovering from.
I just enjoy not having to answer to anyone and doing what I want when I want.
Unfortunately, my two wonderful best friends think the opposite and decide to meddle.
Just because they’re both happily taken, they believe I should be too.
Their “wonderful” plan?
Speed dating…
A bunch of men and women tossed into a room for a night of awkward dates.
Sounds horrific, right?
But because my signature was forged on the contract, there’s no canceling.

Three men catch my attention.
One steals my heart.
Another steals my time.
And the last one steals my patience.

It doesn’t take long for my heart to betray me and I fall for a wealthy man who shatters me.
Now I’m left picking up the pieces and he won’t leave me alone.
Great…Just frickin’ great.

There is nothing wrong with being single and Brooklyn is happy living the single life but when her meddling friends sign her up for speed dating she is the least pleased. After a few duds and a couple maybes she meets her yes!! Nathan is the total package - hot, rich and of course with baggage.

Speed dating is not something Nathan wanted but he was also set up by a friend. Nathan has no time for a relationship, he’s too busy with his company but agrees for his friend. He meets Brooklyn and the chemistry between the two is what girls dream about. A second date is definitely in the cards. The only thing is Nathan isn’t a relationship type and Brooklyn is. Nathan’s hot and cold feelings is what Katy Perry was talking about.

Their love is captivating and a total mess but what love isn't! This book is a definitely read.

Brooklyn is happy being single. She's happy with herself and with her life the way it is. But her friends have the idea that they want her with a man, so signing her up for speed dating seems like a good idea...to them that is! But when she meets Nathan maybe she's not so upset at her friends any longer. Unfortunately the man is as hot and cold as a broken thermostat.

Nathan has issues with trust and unfortunately Brooklyn is the one who will suffer because of his issues. And I wanted to junk punch him more than once with every time he pushed her away. Honestly, if I had been Brooklyn, I would never have taken him back after the 2nd time he pushed her away, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and Brooklyn's heart was in love and had a huge capacity for forgiveness, luckily for Nathan's stupid ass!

I loved this story. It's sexy and sweet, and Brooklyn is awesome. She deserves better than Nathan, but because she loves him, I was able to kinda sorta give him a pass. And lest I forget - her friends are as great as she is, I hope there are stories coming for them, too!

This is the first book in the Taking Chances series and the first I have read from this author. I really enjoyed this quick rom-com. Great characters and a fun storyline. Loved Brooklyn and Nathan. Can’t wait to read more of this author and this series.

I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Set Up is the first book in the ‘Taking Chances’ series by TC Matson, it’s also my first read by this author and it certainly won’t be the last. She has a lot of books for me to catch up on. But, on to Set Up.
The premise is Nathan and Brooklyn are ‘set up’ on a speed dating evening by their best respective friends. Aimee and Shyla arranged Brooklyn’s ‘date’ experience and Cody took care of Nathan’s.
These friends all think they know what’s best for their buddy, and it leads to Brooklyn being forced to endure three hours of mundane talk with 30 strangers. She finds three who are ‘just okay’ but then along comes Nathan and it’s lightning at first strike.
Their chemistry flew off the pages it was that concentrated. But… Nathan has some trust issues and he wasn’t even looking to try speed dating. He’s busy and has no time for a woman or a relationship. Or so he thought until Brooklyn lit up his world.
There’s a lot of pushing and pulling, hot and cold shoulders and some sexy banter all mixed into this cute and enjoyable story. I wanted to slap Nathan at times, he gave into his ‘issues’ rather too readily, but thankfully, he had Cody to help him see the error or his ways.

Brooklyn has a job she likes, great friends and is happy with her life and doesn’t need the complication of a man however her friends feel differently and before she knows what happened she is about to experience an evening of speed dating whether she wants to or not.

Nathan and Brooklyn could be twins when it comes to relationships and he too has been set up by a well-meaning friend. Expecting it to be an evening he would just have to endure he is surprised by his attraction to Brooklyn however they are about to find out that a few minutes together is much different than allowing someone into your heart and your life.

Their journey definitely had its ups and down and they must decide whether what they have together is worth fighting for.

Brooklyn is a woman that doesn't need a man to feel complete. Her two best friends don't feel the same as they have found happiness with a special man. They sign Brooklyn up for speed dating and she can't get out of it. She meets Nathan and a couple of men from that encounter. I liked how Nathan and Brooklyn connected and the fun times they had with each other. There are also funny moments in this story. A good read.

I throughly enjoyed this book and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good romance without to much drama or conflict. Yes there is some “will they, won’t they” but both Nathan and Brooklyn have good reasons for keeping their distance.
I really loved that Brooklyn has a tight group of girlfriends that she sticks by and doesn’t just get swept up in a new relationship with Nathan.

I’ve been looking forward to reading more from T.C. Matson the moment I finished Open House! This author definitely knows how to write a swoony hero just as much as she knows how to write angst. So, with that in mind, I went out on a whim and purchased the three books in the Taking Chances series… Fingers crossed I love these books just as much as I loved Open House.

In My Own Words:

Set up is the first book in the Taking Chances series by T.C. Matson. This novel revolves around Billionaire CEO Nathan and fiercely independent Pharmacy Tech Brooklyn. These two have a fire worth fighting for.

Brooklyn is fine living the single life. This woman is also a woman who prides herself on having outstanding morals. She wants a commitment before settling between the sheets. Her best friends, however, see more for her than late nights cuddling up with a good book. So, being the meddling best friends they are, they set Brooklyn up with Insta-Dates a speed dating program. Now Brooklyn finds herself falling fast and hard for a man who won’t open up fully.
Nathan lives his life for his work, leaving very little time for himself. And that’s the way he prefers it. But his best friend has other plans for Nathan, and the plans revolve around a speed dating program.

When Brooklyn and Nathan meet for the first time, they both know the other has the power to bust through the walls they’ve created. Only time will tell if they’ll endure the happiest of ever afters..

My Thoughts:

My heart loved Nathan and Brooklyn’s story! T.C. Matson brought a perfect mixture of angst and swoon to this tale. This series is looking promising! I can’t wait to read more.
Let’s start with Brooklyn’s characters. I loved her independence. This woman doesn’t need a man in her life, unless she wants one in her life. I also loved her relationship with her best friends Aimee and Shyla. These meddling girls are ruthless, but only in the best of ways. They just want what’s best for Brooklyn, and in wanting the best for her, they gave her a little shove out the door and in the dating world. I laughed so hard during their texting moments. These girls are the perfect kind of crazy!

Nathan is the owner of Bennett towers and has numerous hotels all over the country/world. This man is the perfect definition of workaholic. He lives his life for his job, and nothing more. This man also has a meddling best friend who antagonizes him in all shapes and forms. Cody pushes Nathan into Insta-Dates, and I loved those moments he purposely got under Nathan’s skin when in regards to Nathan’s feelings for Brooklyn. Ah! Cody had me laughing, and Nathan had my heart slightly breaking, especially during those vulnerable moments.

Now onto why I decided to give this one a 3 ½ star rating. You see, I loved Brooklyn and Nathan’s romances. But there was a LOT of back and forth when it came down to Brooklyn. And thinking back, these two easily swept all of their issues under the rug. I wanted that epic moment of clarity. The moment where they pour their heart and soul on the table. So, there was a scene where Nathan showed his ass and walked away without letting Brooklyn explain the situation. A few days later, Brooklyn shows up at his office and makes an ass out herself before walking away without allowing him to talk…. And then a few days/weeks, hell I don’t know, later I love you’s are randomly exchanged and their living their happily ever after… HUH!!! To say I was a little confused and dumbfounded would be an understatement. Bottom line, the ending to this novel felt a bit rushed. I needed more of a groundbreaking moment in order to truly feel like this was an epic happily ever after. The ending fell short for me.

Overall, I loved the concept of Brooklyn and Nathan’s story. I also loved the chemistry these characters showed. But I needed more from the ending. I'm heading over to Cody and Aimee's story (Hook Up) next! I loved Cody in Set Up, so I'm hoping I'll love him even more in Hook Up!

Brooklyn has been without relationships for a year, so her best friends Aimee and Shyla decide to sign her to a speed dating site. And there she meets Nathan and Cody( protagonist of the second book in the series), as soon as she sees Nathan she feels butterflies 🦋 in her stomach, but days pass before they go out on a date.
Cody intends to date her to provoke a reaction in Nathan since his friend is too focused on work.
Nathan is very attracted to her but he is afraid ,since in the past women have only shown interest in him for his money, so they take things slowly.
But when she discovers who he really is and that he has been hiding it from her on purpose, she feels hurt and broke up with him.

“You must be used to calling the shots because I haven’t been given the choice you keep taking. You’re right. No woman likes an absent man, but the right woman can understand and even be supportive. But you wouldn’t know if I could handle it because you keep reeling me in and then pushing me away. Hell, I don’t even know if I can handle it, but that’s not to say I wouldn’t be able to.” The lines on his face are hard. “There’s the investment I was talking about. If I invest my time, what happens when you walk away when you realize it’s too much?” I suck in a breath at the sucker punch. “Wow, Nathan. Thanks for the vote of confidence. Clearly, we’re on two different levels.” “You have to understand where I’m coming from.” “Actually, I do. Or at least I think so.” My shoulders slump. “I really like you, the you I’ve gotten to know. Not the rich guy who owns some luxury hotels. But Nathan.” His name pulls a smile to my face. “The guy who can wear a suit or jeans and cause my heart to flutter. The guy who hates pickles, lets me win at bowling, who likes to laugh, and has incredibly sexy eyes. That’s the guy I like.”“I’m not mad…” I bounce my head from shoulder to shoulder. “Okay. Maybe I am. Hurt would be a better word. You think that low of me that you couldn’t have just told me? Or even tried? I can understand why you’re guarded, but I never thought I came off as someone who would take advantage of you. I’m genuinely interested in you. I thought you knew that. Thought you could feel it. How long were you going to keep this up? Until I had fallen in love with you?” He shakes his head slightly. “I gave you so many chances,” I grit out, fighting back tears. “I don’t deserve the pain, the damn heartache you keep giving me. Let me give you a piece of advice for the future. The longer you let a woman see Nathan while falsifying everything else before introducing her to Nathan Bennett, the worse it hurts. You led me to believe you really liked me and were trying to fit me into your busy lifestyle when instead you’re shrouded in deceit.”

Nathan gets Brooklyn to forgive him but later he will screw up again for the same reason, his trust issues.

“Since I’ve become successful, widely known for my net worth and dubbed Dallas’ sexiest bachelor, the only women I have met are the ones who enjoy trying to exploit my money.” “I never gave you a reason to think I would be one of them.” “True.” “And yet you treated me like the rest. I was real and honest from the start while you hid everything except your personality. You never had faith in me.” The sadness in her eyes squeezes something in my chest. “I’m man enough to admit I made a mistake. I knew the night we went bowling you were different, but it didn’t stop me from worrying. I should’ve listened to my gut,” I whisper. “I’m sorry, Brooklyn. I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.”

The walls she has around her heart are new, and they’re the ones I erected on my own. They’re sturdy by the pain I caused her. Slowly, I plan on proving to her she has nothing to fear. I screwed up once. It’s not happening again.

“Let me guess. I’m the bad guy right?” “You slept with his girlfriend. That automatically makes you the bad guy.” “She played us both. I didn’t know she was his girlfriend,” he says. “That entire situation has nothing to do with me,” I snap tersely. “Explain what the hell is going on now.” “Vincent has made it a mission to destroy me and Bennett Towers. Paying you to get inside information wouldn’t be the first for him. Normally, I’m better at catching it, but you came in at a different angle. But now it makes sense why you were so interested in what I do and how I conduct business.” Hurt envelops my rage, braiding the two into a ferocious anguish. I’m so angry, icy chills run through my veins. My spine snaps straight as vexation rides out with my laugh. “Instead of talking to me, you assumed. That’s a dick move, Nathan. Jumping to conclusions…” My voice is deathly low. “I asked questions because I was genuinely interested in the man I was falling for. Your work fascinates me. Little ol’ small town girl who’s never experienced the corporate world. I wanted to learn everything about you. Not for some pathetic sibling rivalry, but because I fucking gave a damn. But now I find out we are on much different levels. As I was falling in love with you, I meant nothing to you.”

Brooklyn is increasingly reluctant to let him continue breaking her heart, but with the help of Cody, Aimee and Shyla, Nathan devise a plan to get her back and tell her how he really feels.

“Let me talk,” he pants against my lips before leaning back to meet my gaze. “I’m flawed, Brooklyn. No amount of money can make me perfect. You’ve done nothing but screw my head up. When I saw him in your house…” His nostrils flare. “It devastated me. You fucking own me and have no clue. Whether we work out or not, I’m not going another day without you knowing how much I’m madly in love with you.” Those words… My breath catches in my throat. “I love you so much it hurts. You’ve caused every wall I’ve ever built to crumble. I wasn’t looking for anything when I met you. I didn’t want to love, yet I couldn’t stop falling. Even with the mess of our beginning, I knew I wanted you. I fucked up and I don’t deserve another chance, but I do trust you. I do.” Emotions swarm inside of me. My head swims in the rush. My gaze flicks between his eyes and I utter the one thing I’ve been dying to say, “I love you too.”

This is the first book I've read by Author T.C. Matson and I freakin loved it ! . Do you have any pesky best friends who love you whole heartedly but interfere with your personal life to the extent of signing you up to a speed dating sight ? . No ? Well Brooklyn does . Aimee and Shyla forge Brooklyn's signature and sign her up to a speed dating night she wants to kill them but she knows they only have her best interests at heart. So reluctantly she goes and five minutes after being there she starts thinking of ways to kill her former best friends. I love friends like Aimee and Shyla .
Anyway .... Through out the night she meets some winners and losers however only three men she meets holds her attention well maybe two and a half . The half she's not so sure about but he made her laugh so there's a bonus right.?
Only one of the three made her heart skip a beat or four , he's good looking was easy to talk to and his voice alone made her weak between the knees.

Nathan was stitched up by his best friend Cody and went on this rediculous speed date to shut him up . But when he saw the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid eyes on four tables down from him his curiosity got the better of him and wanted to talk to her . Five minutes isn't enough time to get to know her and wants more .

Dates are set up between the two men she liked but upon finding out the third man was the best friend to Nathan Brooklyn new he had alterior motives just like her scheming best friends.

I found reading this book how much I enjoyed the characters and the bantering , the friendships forged and the delicacies of trying to find love in a world where two people from different walks of life try to find there way through trust issues , self doubt and minippulation . I highly recommend this book and I look forward to reading the next book in the series .

♥️🌼🔥NATHAN AND BROOKLYN ARE SET UP...MORE THAN ONCE..♥️🌼🔥
SET UP is book one in TC Matson‘s Taking Chances Series, and it’s an excellent start to this series about three friends...My only real criticism is the book wasn’t long enough, and I was sad when it was over...♥️🌼🔥
So, Brooklyn Anderson is a smart, feisty, sweet pharmacy technician who hasn’t been laid in 11 months....What? It’s a bfd....Her friends, Shyla and Aimee, decide to “help” and set her up for speed dating...3 hours + 5 minute breaks = 30 guys, and they don’t tell her an actual date is mandatory.....I really love her friends....So, Brooklyn meets 3 “maybes” including.....♥️🌼🔥
Nathan Bennett is the young, rich, hot CEO of his own company, and he doesn’t have time for relationships...Plus, he’s built a wall, and he is pretty low in the trust department...like, it’s nearly non-existent....But, Nathan is set up for speed dating by his friend, Cody...and he meets Brooklyn...And there is an instant fire...not a spark....no, it’s pretty much a raging fire.....and they both feel it...heck, I feel it......so Nathan asks Brooklyn out...HEA, right?? No...it’s not smooth sailing since Brooklyn is a relationship girl, and Nathan just can’t trust enough to stop screwing up....but, they have this off the chart chemistry and throw love into the picture...and, well, love is messy...and messy makes a REALLY good book...and, now, I can’t wait to read HOOK UP...♥️🌼🔥

I got to the end of this book and just wanted the 2nd book in the series to start right away that's how good the first story in this new series was!

Set Up = Speed Dating = an organized social activity in which people seeking romantic relationships have a series of short conversations with potential partners in order to determine whether there is mutual interest.

Poor Brooklyn she is happy to be single she really is but her friends Shyla and Aimee both in long term relationships deem it is time for Brooklyn to get back into the dating scene so they set her up for a night of speed dating 3 hours in fact. To say she is not happy is a tiny understatement.

Nathan doesn't have time to date his life is his work and he is happy that way but his best friend Cody has other plans and he in-roles himself and Nathan in a little speed dating.

A couple of minutes isn't that long to know if you like someone but Brooklyn and Nathan felt a connection right away but Nathan has issues trusting anyone and with his work schedule trying to spend time with Brooklyn is not easy and when his trust issues ends up with him judging Brooklyn unfairly- Brooklyn is left hurt and her only answer is - ' and yet you treated me like the rest. I was real and honest with you from the start.......'

Can Nathan convince Brooklyn to take a chance or will Brooklyn cut her loses and go back to life before Nathan.

First time reading from this author and I got to say I loved it. I will definitely be reading more from her.

This book will drive you a bit crazy with the back and forth between the characters but It would be worth it.
I love the main characters and their friends.

Nathan & (spitfire) aka Brooklyn share a chemistry that's off the charts, hot. But also comes with insecurities and trust issues.
Nathan is a CEO, he's hot. Single Not looking for love. He's also smart loving loyal. Scared to open up and giving away something that he knows could hurt him. Too bad for him. He has a best friend looking out for him and set him up on a speed dating. Where he meets Brooklyn who also Been set up. At the same speed dating place.
Brooklyn is outgoing. She doesn't let anyone walk all over her. She's loving caring. And ready to step up to any challenge even opening up herself to someone else. .

They both want each other but will one trust the other enough. To give their heart away or will they let that dry them apart?
Totally recommended book I thought it was fun. A little bit back and forth of drama, but overall a lot of Fun reading and caring and loving these characters.

Omg I love this book! I can do much relate to this book it's scary. Brooklyn is like my twin with two meddling best friends that want her to get rocked under the sheets after a drought. Their answer....speed dating. Not enthusiastic about it Brooklyn agrees and that's when she meets Nathan. Sparks fly instantly but Nathan has trust issues due to being burned too much. As a successful businessman most women are only interested in his money, but not Brooklyn. He keeps too many secrets and their romance falls apart before it really began. Nathan's family is just...how do I say this mildly, extremely challenged in the behavior department. The only normal people are his grandma and sister. His grandma is a hoot...no filter at all lol. With her help Nathan can finally take control of what is his and win back the woman of his dreams.
This book really hit me in a lot of personal ways. It is beautiful written with a story that grabbed me right away. There is so much truth written in this book so the reader can have a connection with the character. Once again another amazing book by TC Matson I can only highly recommend.

Brooklyn is truly happy to be single, and in my opinion, there's nothing wrong with that since I feel the same way. However, her friends don't think that she should be alone, so they sign her up for speed dating (never understood the nonsense of speed dating but they mean well), and she's absolutely not happy. Three men are left standing (2 of which who are interested in her but her not so much in them), making it quickly apparent which one she can see herself with, (and no I'm not naming names) They have serious chemistry, and they start spending time together. However, some f-bomb worthy twists appear, and all of a sudden, Brooklyn is left bleeding with a shattered heart. That man figures out that he messed up (as he should have), and he decides to try & fix it. But, will Brooklyn even listen?! I mean, she was truly happy being single, and frankly, I wouldn't blame her if she decided to stay that way, especially after the way he treated her. So, will she give him a chance to fix it?! You'll have to hit that one click button to find out! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was such a highly entertaining, uber cute read! It had a very "Sex and the City"ish vibe to me, with great characters and plenty of sparks (and drama) to keep me turning the pages as fast as I could. Brooklyn and Nathan had the ultimate meet-cute story, and I was hooked on this book from the beginning.

Granted, there were many times I wanted to strangle Nathan, but that just made him seem even more real to me-- because seriously, men can be a special kind of dense sometimes. I loved that Brooklyn was a woman who knew her own mind and wasn't willing to settle for second best OR anything less than butterflies. She was happy with her life-- and with herself-- and wasn't waiting for a man to complete her.

I enjoyed every second of their story and can't wait for the next books in this series. This was the first book I've read by Matson, and now I'm on a mission to scour her backlist and read everything else she's written.

This is my first time reading this author, and it definitely won't be the last!! I adore hilarious rom-coms and this book had all of the right elements of one, plus all the emotions!!!

Brooklyn is set up by her two best girl friends to go speed dating, and she makes a solid connection with one of the guys almost right away. From the get go their attraction just leaps off the page, and their hilarious banter always had me cracking up! Even though she catches the eye of two other men, she has her heart set on the one who makes her feel things she never thought she could feel.. but will the man of her dreams ever trust her enough to let her in his heart?

I absolutely adored this book!! I won't give away who the hero of the story is, but once you start reading you won't be able to stop! I'm so looking forward to book two in this series! :)

Set Up by T.C. Matson a five-star read that you would happily want set up with. What starts with a speed dating event ends in so much more, so, so much more. I love this story, Brooklyn Aimee and Shyla just have this great bond; you can imagine yourself alongside them at dinner each week or sat watching them with envy as they just have this bond that transcends the page. But they are not the main story, the boys get that honour and I won’t reveal which man steals a heart, which steals time and the final one that just steals patients and bless his cotton socks he would push the patients of a saint. This has all the makings of a sublime story; the drama and passion are just amazing and the push and pull just pushed every emotion I had and left me all a flutter. Do not miss this story as it shows us that the Taking chances series is going to be the one to watch.

I haven’t read this author in a very long while, but this story was just a fantastic as I remember!! This story was light, fun & a complete entertainment throughout. These 2 are set up so many times that you begin to expect it. The push, the pull between Nathan & Brooklyn was aggravating at times because Nathan was being stubborn!! The story flowed so well I couldn’t stop & before I realized it ended. I am ready for the next book & am impatiently waiting. The chemistry between these 2 was hot & so well written. Brooklyn & her girls, Shyla & Aimee were just as much entertainment as Nathan & Brooklyn. Cody is a hilariously funny character & I can’t wait for his story. Really this whole world the author created was fun; it just added more depth.

I highly recommend this book. Told in dual POV.

This was a great story about two people duped by their friends to attend a speed dating event. Brooklyn is perfectly happy being single but her besties are both in loving relationships and want her to find her special someone too. The speed dating scene was hilarious and migraine inducing but Brooklyn ended up meeting a few interesting guys. Nathan is a workaholic and believes he doesn't have time to date plus he has major trust issues from past experiences. I enjoyed watching these characters find their way to each other. Putting their hearts on the line to find their other half. This was an entertaining story with amazing secondary characters. My first TC Matson book but it won't be the last!

Set Up by T.C. Matson is book one in the Taking Chances Series. Set Up is a stand-alone romance novel.
Meet Brooklyn. S's single for some time and her friends decided to bring her back in the game. Aka set her up for speed dating.
Nathan is a man who keeps his identity a secret, his emotions close to his chest. He's all Mr. Big Wig Corporeal - I'm sooo important - and as you can see I really really didn't like his character. He's hot then cold, lets her hang in the wind, you get the picture.
Ok, enough said, Set Up is a excellent written story, I enjoyed reading the book. I can't say I loved the charaters, but they're staying with me. 4,5 Stars.

Set Up kept me reading until the end in one sitting. I couldn't put it down.
There were laugh out loud moments, parts I could see me and my besties saying and doing and drama that could easily happen to any of us. I loved how Brooklyn was her own woman and was able to focus on her life without needing a man. But the romantic scenes made me swoon.
There's so much more to Nathan and Brooklyn's relationship and the other men she met at the speed dating night. TC has magically captured everyone's emotions, connections and relationships. Book 1 certainly is a great start to this new series and I can't wait to see what happens in Books 2.

Set Up is the first book in the Taking Chances series and believe me, this book is definitely worth taking a chance on. Brooklyn and Nathan are two people who are happy in their lives and have no wish for a relationship. However with meddling friends what you want and what you get are two different things. When these two are signed up for speed dating by their friends, the chemistry is electric but can they let their guard down and risk taking a chance. Nathan and Brooklyn’s story is captivating, witty and oh so entertaining. A story that will have you captured in the pages and totally enamored by their journey in learning to trust your heart.

This is funny rom com that is a Must Read!!! Brooklyn is 'Set Up' by her 2 best friends to an eventful evening of speed dating, which by Brooklyn's account...."It's a damn bachelor buffet. All you can eat men with different side dishes. I'm not hungry." is But her friends are taken and they want her to find happiness too. Will Brooklyn pick up a fork and dine or leave the doggy bags for someone else to deal with??? Follow the ups and downs and aftermath that entails after her speed dating fiasco!!!

This is the 1st in a new series and what an amazing tale this is. Brooklyn is happy with her life as it is but hr 2 best friends who are in long term relationships are not convinced and sign her up for speed dating. Nathan is a busy man and has no time for relationships, and his best friends also signs him up. The chemistry between these two is off the charts, but will they take a chance on each other. This is a well written story which is humorous and entertaining, which all had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all.

AMAZING read from TC Matson! I have loved everything she has put out, and this is a bit different then the usual, ok so no sexy fighters, but there is a sexy billionaire. I wanted so bad to hate Nathan, he was so infuriating at times but I just couldn't. I really loved Brooklyn. She's shy, funny speaks her mind and holy strong willed forsure. The chemistry these two had from the moment he sat down across from her was off the charts. This book made me giggle like a school girl in so many spots.
