This is the third book in this series and Jessa Kane left the best for last. This was a seriously hot and fiery read.
Quinn is a renowned food critic and has grown up always following what is expected of her, the shy virgin wants to break from her shell and when she meets Desmond on the reality cooking show she finds herself attracted to him and when the chance for further time with him she cannot help but take what she can get. But how could such a man be interested in a shy mouse like her and will she be able to walk away when the time comes?
Desmond isn’t all that shocked when he finds himself on a cooking show for the worst baker, his sisters have finally got their revenge for years of pranks, what he wasn’t expecting was a shy restaurant critic stealing under his skin and wedging herself in his heart. Desmond is a confident fireman alpha male, he knew at first glance that there was something special about Quinn and there was no way he was letting her get away but when she suggests a mutually beneficial arrangement will he have the strength to let her go if she wants to or can he convince her that they should be together not just for a night but for the rest of time?
This was a insta love and intsta lust story that will have you in fear of your kindle or ereader surviving the ordeal. Loved the epilogue and his sisters were a hoot. I highly recommend the series and the book. 5* Read.

I would recommend any of the three books. I’m going to have to be on the lookout for more of these slightly sweeter stories from Miss Kane.

The finale (as we know) lights camera action series is over!!! The finale couple gets their turn.
Desmond is a protective goof ball who enjoys pranking his sisters and making sure they are gentlemen to them now his sisters are getting revenge on him for all the pranks. He is the 3rd contestant for this horrible baking show. And he has his money on winning... and even more when he sees the guest celebrity Quinn.. and boy he is hung for her, shes sweet, shy and his. But alittle miscommunications happens when Quinn ask Desmond for lessons in being confident and such, he asked to ask out men.. she studder yes. Now they both think it's a lesson and a one time type of thing.
Desmond is on a mission to show his girl he is the only guy for her.. but seems karma is biting hard when his sisters high jack his plan. Now he has to control himself for bit.
And boy the sisters do enjoy teasing their brother and getting a new friend. I enjoyed this alot.

In the last book we meet Desmond Conlon the second contestant in the "You've been ambushed" reality tv baking show. After years of Desmond pranking his sisters' jackass boyfriends, his sisters decided to get their revenge by nominating him on a tv show for terrible bakers. But Desmond doesn't mind. If him being on national television will make his sisters feel better, he'll do it. But when the second judge, Quinn, walks out he realize there is something (or someone) he's willing to do more.
I think this is my favorite book in the series. Desmond is just the sweetest.
“You’re not a mean brother, then?”
“I’m a protective one. Though it might be hard for Melissa and Steph to tell the difference sometimes.” I push my free hand through my hair. “They date these assholes, you know? It’s as if they forget men can’t be trusted—and it’s my job to remind them.”
Quinn’s eyebrows are near her hairline, a smile playing around her beautiful lips. “Does that mean you can’t be trusted?”
“No.” Before I can second guess myself, I unbuckle my seatbelt and move closer, tickling her ribs gently. “That’s not what it means, smart ass.”
“Why not?” she giggles. “Why are you the exception?”
“Because I’d give up everything before I put tears in your eyes.” By the time I finish speaking, our mouths are an inch apart.
I just thought that was so cute and sweet. Idk.
“I can put my shirt back on—”
“Please, please, don’t.”
“Okay.”
She toes off her shoes and pads over, hesitating only a second before running her hands up my abdomen and chest. “You’re incredible.”
My heart clogs my throat. “Sweetheart, nothing is as incredible as you.”

While Quinn kind of reminds me a bit of myself, she does have her annoying moments.
“It’s only meant to be one lesson,” I blurt.

“Yes. Your brother is merely being kind. I told him I have a confidence problem a-and that I know nothing about men and sex. He’s helping me understand.”
Melissa and Steph stare at one another in disbelief. “He’s helping you understand?” Steph squeaks.
I nod. “Yes.”
“And you…” Melissa grabs my arm. “You think he’s doing this to be kind?”
“Yes, isn’t that nice?” I say, smiling brightly.
Face palm. Come on Quinn. I get everyone has their off moments, but seriously? Although I understand not knowing Desmond intentions, after speaking to his sisters you should at least get a clue.
Overall though I really enjoyed reading this. The sexy times were hot and the funny parts actually made me chuckle a little.

I’m conducting a little experiment. I recently read that if you think your writing stalls in certain scenes, i.e. the love scene, fight scene…, to dedicate a week, two weeks, a month to reading everything you can in that genre. In this case, I was thinking my writing needed more visceral description, well what could be more visceral than smut?
From the second Desmond sees Quinn, the food critic, he knows exactly what he wants on his table. Preferably, spread eagle. He ambles up to her and asks her out for coffee. Impressed with his confidence, she asks him to give her lessons...lessons in confidence that turn his heart inside out. Now, if Desmond can only get the words out that they are more than lessons to him.
Love it! Desmond's playful banter and Quinn's innocence is relatable. FYI: In the last part of the book, we're told we're reading Desmond's point of view, but around the 80-81% mark (in kindle) the point-of-view changes to Quinn (no marker indicating it). You pick up quickly there was a bit of mistake, but no problem, its just a bit jarring at first.

This is the third/final book in this series. It was a more innocent meet cute. Light on back story and dirty talk in comparison. However, both main characters are likable. Des's sisters are funny and the epilogue will tug your heartstrings.

REPRESENTATION
OVERALL THOUGHTS Desmond was a really sweet guy. Especially to the women in his life. He is definitely a supporter of women's rights and a feminist. He just gets a little possessive of Quinn. ;) We get to see his relationship with his sisters and he is a typical big brother but they speak so highly of him and he talks about his mom. He sounds like a good son and brother.
Probably my least favorite out of the three in this series
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE I got lost a little bit along the way. Did we ever learn why Desmond was single? What happened with Quinn’s mom after Desmond shut the door in her face. Would have loved a little bit of a deeper dive into them
Also in one of the last chapters their was a POV mistake. Two pages in it switches from Desmond's to Quinn's POV almost like mid thought.

Known by his siblings as a prankster, Desmond found himself on the other end of a horrible prank...his sisters had secretly nominated him to be a contestant on a reality television show for the worst baker ever. Always up for a good gag, Des took it like a champ, right up until the host of the show introduced one of the celebrity judges, who just so happened to be Quinn, and his world turned upside down at first sight of her.
Quinn was a 24-year-old, uptight young woman who allowed her "upper-crust" mother to run roughshod over her for her entire life. A social climbing wannabe, the mother was always pushing her daughter to be just as straight-laced and proper as she herself was. There were some amusing moments, as well as angsty and dramatic ones. All in all, it was a better story than the second book, but not as good as the first. It was good enough for a three-star rating, so that was a good thing.

A Serving of Forever by Jessa Kane was a sweet and steamy insta-love romance. This is the third book in the Lights Camera Insta-Love series, but each book can be read as a standalone. Firefighter Desmond always pranks his sisters, so they finally get their revenge by nominating him as a contestant for a baking show. On this show, all of the contestants are terrible bakers competing to win. When one of the judges is introduced, Desmond is instantly attracted to her. Quinn is a restaurant critic, and very quiet and reserved. When she sees Desmond at the competition, she can't keep her eyes off of him. After the show, Desmond wants to ask Quinn out, but Quinn asks him to teach her how to be confident and sexy before he gets the chance. Desmond agrees, and they start their lessons, but he thinks Quinn doesn't want him and wants to be confident for other guys. Quinn thinks Desmond is just giving her lessons to be nice, and isn't actually attracted to her. I really liked the storyline, it was cute. Desmond clearly liked Quinn, but Quinn was shy and didn't see that. he was definitely an alpha character and very protective, but he was incredibly sweet as well. Quinn was a likable character, and she grew a lot in a short amount of time. Desmond's sisters were funny and made a bit of mischief. This was a really cute insta-love story and it had a lot of steamy scenes between Quinn and Desmond.

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
A serving of forever is the third and final book (I think) in the lights, camera, insta love series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters lovable and the storyline enjoyable.
Desmond Conlon is a New York fireman; he is full of life and is the life of a party. When his sisters get their own back and sign him up for a baking contest/reality show, he is amused. What he doesn’t expect is to be drawn to one of the judges.
Quinn is a renowned restaurant critic. She is anxious and awkward. When she meets Desmond, she is instantly attracted but will she give love a chance?
The chemistry between Quinn and Desmond is clear to see and I loved them as a couple. They were complete opposites but they were perfect for one another. I liked that Desmond helped Quinn come out of her shell a little bit.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
