In her new book Predator (Book 5 of The Master’s Child Series), this author has, once again, blown me away with her story-building skills. She crafts her characters and scenes so well they take on a life of their own; the people become real to you. You feel you know them; you might run into one of these folks at the grocery store. You miss them so much when the book ends. You can’t wait until the next episode to see your friends again. Happily, they’re all back in Predator: Charlotte, James, and Michael; and now with their newborn daughter, Cara. Also, the two other members of their polyamorous family, Richard and a heavily pregnant Beth. Charlotte’s mother and father, Mitch and Larry are there as well. And close friends of the family, Kirstie and Ryan are present, celebrating Christmas and New Year’s with them all. This story is packed with everything you’d want in an “unputdownable” book, to draw you in: romance-thriller storyline, attractive characters in love and their breath-takingly erotic encounters, an entire “clan” of devoted family members and friends who’d do anything for each other, a beautiful baby and another on the way; stalwart dogs, gorgeous horses, all set in a picturesque snow-covered mountain-side lodge. There are enchanting family dinners, laughter, bacon sandwiches, singing, knitted pink unicorns, horse-riding in the snow-covered hills, love, se*y times. But someone seeking vengeance is out to harm one or more members of this group. There are dire threats, some criminal elements who traffic in humans, fear, car chases, gunfights. Who the hell is this low-life villain? There are plenty of twists and turns to negotiate as the family turns inward to itself to comfort and protect one another. Just when I think the author cannot top herself, she does. Predator absolutely grabbed me and shook me fiercely. All I can do is wait to read the next part of the tale. I’m SO hoping it will be soon! Five bright, sparkling stars. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest and authentic review.

What a ride. Charlotte is recovering from her abduction as well as having her baby while being held in a dirty place with no medics. Cara is born health. as the made family gathers they are worried about Baxter , where he is and what else does he have planned. I love that Klempner has now got a dog and does change his name to bear . It makes him more human as well he put on that hand made Christmas sweater I was laughing at that one and how Richard had to change into his as it was told through Larry Klempner view. This book took me on a great ride with a lot of surprises as well as an humdinger of a cliffhanger. Simone Leigh continues to write a great story I can't wait to read. Keep up the great work.

This is the 5th book in this series and as per usual from this author, it’s absolutely brilliant! I really can’t say enough good things about this book. The plot is fantastic and has some amazing unexpected twists to it. The characters are forever evolving as we are shown more of their lives and how they deal with what life and some baddies throw at them. If you want an awesome mystery/thriller with steam thrown in then grab this book and whilst you are at it you might as well grab the entire series as you are going to want to read this from the very beginning. Get a nice comfy seat, a warm drink and sit back as you shall not be moving again until you have read this cover to cover.

FIERCE IRRESISTIBLE EXCITEMENT!
Attention grabbing fierce irresistible excitement grabs hold of you throughout this fantastic twisted story that is impossible to put down and impossible to not feel all the adrenaline pumping excitement as the eye popping twists storm through the pages invading your mind and over loading your senses making this a perfect twisted read that I couldn't wait to get to the end and then the reality hits when all the words are gone and now I'm out of my mind wanting more. It's crazy twisted, intense, fierce, edgy, passionate, exciting, yummy and addictive so don't even think about putting it down.

This book continues the story of Charlotte and her two husbands, James and Michael, after the pregnant Charlotte had been kidnapped and tortured by some evil men. Her baby was born safely, thankfully, but one of the kidnappers, a true villain, (Baxter) survives the rescue and is now after Charlotte's father, Klempner. So Klempner decides to go after him in return. So who is the predator and who is the prey? At one point there is a wild chase scene. At the end, things are all set for the next story in the series. I highly recommend ALL the books!

Was not expecting this twist!
“Predator” continues the suspenseful romance storyline from “Hostage” with the Triad, Michael, James, and Charlotte enjoying the holidays with Charlotte’s father Klempner. But there is still danger in the air as Baxter is still underground. Predator, like all of Simone Leigh’s tales, invites you in, to immerse yourself and experience the story. Her Creativity allows you to feel, see and hear everything as if it were you, feeling the danger that surrounds the triad and wonder if today is the day that Baxter will seek his vengeance? This tale ends in the most unexpected and twisted cliffhanger of all. This is a MUST read in “The Master’s Child” series.

Each of these books just gets better. The characters more evolved and compelling. I love how James describes his family and how they came to be, how Klempner's past made him into the man he is today, Charlotte becoming the mother she was meant to be. Each aspect of these stories becomes more personal and I love following their journey. James is such a strong character that I have always wanted to know about him and I can't wait to find out more of his prior relationships.

Truly excellent read.
I am not sure when Charlotte first meet James and Michael that she expected everything both the good and bad that has happen to them. Like the prior books this one builds on the tale with more twists and turns that this series is famous for. This one also has outstanding cliffhanger. Charlotte is recovering and Cara is doing well, Klempner has a dog named Bear and a homemade Christmas sweater, and the whole gang is together. Sounds sweet right but remember this is a thriller with heat. I have to agree with one reviewer who is the prey and who is the predator? One thing I will tell you is that this book was so engaging that I lost time while reading and cannot wait for the next installment. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Once I started I could not put the book down from start to finish you just could not get enough left you wanting more twists and turns, hot and steamy like a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The Triads on holidays together with everyone, including Charlottes father Klempner to protect Charlotte against Baxter who wants revenge against Klempner. Wow and to say the way it leaves you.

Fucking Amazing

Can't wait for "prey" coming out next. Hope its soon. This story is about all I want to read at this point from any of my favorite authors. I'm so enthralled with it and I haven't even gotten to read anything about Kristie so in the meantime I'm going to catch up with all of that part of the stories books to help hold me over. Keep up with your writing style you are extremely talented.

WOW!!! In the continuing story of Michael, James and Charlotte, the Triad settled down to the holidays with Klempner staying with them to try and find where their nemesis Baxter went...Larry and Mitch getting closer again, but he feels antsy and closed in within the confines of the estate...but an intuition tells Klempner that their enemy is close, so reaches out to his more notorious contacts wanting to find signs of Baxter before more havoc can be caused...but you will need to read this thriller to see what happens and what happens to throw a wrench into the triad's future...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the 5th book in the series and I do recommend reading them in order. Charlotte is recovering from the birth of her baby while being held by her kidnappers. One of the kidnappers escaped and still wants his revenge. Will Baxter get his revenge against her father and can her husbands keep Charlotte safe? Fast-paced read with plenty of drama, suspense and steam. An entertaining read. I liked it.

Charlotte is healing after her ordeal and is taking care of baby Cara. Everyone is at the estate trying to go forward but Klemptner still feels that Baxter is close because he still wants him to pay. Our triad is setting in to care for the baby and their friends are there. But will Baxter find a way to threaten again?

OMG!! Riveting! Love that Klempner is going from a very bad man to trying to redeem his self in his daughter’s eyes and for his granddaughter. Also his Mitch. Even the years that go between them they still anchor together. Really edgy and then a Cliffhanger! But well worth the time in between books. Loved it♥️♥️

The story of the triad or rather the quintet or squad continues. Beth I’d still pregnant and Charlotte is recovering from her ordeal. Klempner and Mitch are getting closer and Charlotte is getting used to having her parents together and is accepting Klempner as her Dad. We follow the story where they are looking for Baxter. James is insisting on being part of the search and no matter how Klempner tries to stop him he is always there as things begin to get exciting. I don’t want to spoil the suspense but it is well worth the read.

I love how this story has progressed and is involving more people than just the triad. We are learning more about James as he opens up to Klempner. The tension is building and I wonder where the story is going next. I have my own ideas where Simone is going with this but I might be totally wrong..

I think it says a lot about Simone’s writing that after so many books about the same people she still manages to leave the reader with a cliffhanger. She is , in my opinion, turning the story into a thrilling read and I think she should also be listed in thrillers as well as BDSM.

I recommend her books totally. Well done on such brilliant writing.

Another amazing installment. Simone hasn't yet written a book I didn't like. This is a lovely continuation of the post-Christmas relaxed holiday spirit on the surface. In reality, though, Klempner, James, and Michael all know the reality, that this period is merely the calm before the storm. The book has many feel-good elements, feelings cemented in open discussion, blossoming love and continued physical desire amongst our Triad. Steamy moments nonetheless interspersed with suspense, a lot of thrilling action and a twist in the end that many wouldn't have expected. I for one can't wait for the next installment of this brilliant series which had started out as a BDSM story, through to romance, family drama, and finally a thriller, succeeding at each genre. I wonder how many authors would be able to pull off such multigenre achievement? As usual, the book was very well edited. I strongly recommend anyone to read this novel. If you haven't read this series yet, I suggest you start at the beginning,

And baby make four...but can her husbands keep their women protected

Predator is the fifth book in The Master's Child series. This story just keeps getting more intense with each new book in the series. The "family" of Charlotte, James and Micheal now has the newest member, Cara. She is the adorably cute newborn daughter. They are all reunited and safe but maybe not for long as Baxter is still out there and this time he has another member of the family in mind to go after. The men will do anything they need to to keep Charlotte and Cara safe and protected, as will her father Klempner.
I am going to say that this series has become much more of a thriller/suspense/mystery than erotica/BDSM over the last couple of books. I am not sure yet how I like this leaning as it is expected and not what I usually read. So it is making me stretch my reading styles, which I am liking and also not at the same time.

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
