Warrior's Resolve
Molly McKinnon’s father disappeared on a manhunt for an escaped convict. From what they’ve been able to piece together, whoever kidnapped her father, wants the location of the money the convict escaped to retrieve. Getting desperate, the kidnappers will do anything to get the McKinnon patriarch to tell what the convict told him, even go after the rest of the McKinnon family. Former US Air Force PJ, Parker Bailey, was medically retired from the military after a disastrous mission left him with a damaged leg and survivor’s guilt. The Iron Horse Ranch was a really a fast moving story. Elle did amazing job with this book that you couldn't put it down. She knew that the Warrior's Resolve was one that would be a hit along with all the others that go with this one. When a father is still missing the kidnappers will do anything to get what they want or at least they can try. Molly is a tough rancher and she would do anything to save her father. In this case she couldn't. She was working on the fence in the pasture when Parker and her brother noticed she was missing they decided to go look for her one went one way the other in the other direction. Molly got her stuff back in the saddles and got her foot stuck and the horse spooked and took off and went running and so did she got to her feet and started to run and to hid from the two ATV's that came out of the tree line they headed straight for her. She ran as fast as she could with her cowboy books on and when she looked of her shoulder she yelp and one of the guys had a gun and shot her. they where circling her. Parker shot one of the guys and got Molly on his horse with him as she was drugged. He to her the way home that no ATV go and that was when he met up with Angus fired a few shots and told him to get her home. He got her home and in the house they decided it was time to take and call the coverage of all the woman and children that where in danger. So Angus, Colin, Bastian, Duncan, there families and the mother Parker was covering with Molly who would not like that at all. So the next morning she woke up in her room and went to take a shower and when she came out from getting dressed in her room Parker was right there. He told her how things where going to be and she didn't like it at all. She argued with him and he had to find a way to shut her up so he did. After that they went downstairs and to begin there day and that was with finding out what need to be done. Things went on the wrong side after that. I am recommend this book because it is action and romance and fast pasted . Elle is a fantastic writer and I love her description of the story it made feel like I was part of the family and like I was there going through it with them. I was mad at times and I cried at time.

‘Iron Horse Legacy’ is a companion series to the ‘Brotherhood Protectors’ series, but you definitely don’t need to have read that series to enjoy this one. This is the fifth and final book in the series. You can read it as a stand-alone, but you might get more out of it if you’ve read any of the others. The heroine in this book has 4 older brothers, all military men like their father. The father, James, is missing, so all of the brothers have come home on emergency leave.
Molly and Parker have been at odds since her father hired him as foreman of the family ranch. She resented his presence, seeing it as evidence that her father didn’t think she was qualified for the job. Parker was determined to steer clear of her despite the powerful attraction he felt for her. He had been medically discharged from the Air Force after he was seriously injured during s mission that went bad. Parker didn’t see himself as worthy of the daughter of the man who had taken a chance on hiring him.
When masked men try to kidnap Molly from the ranch, Parker is given the responsibility of keeping her safe. The changed circumstances make it impossible for him to keep denying his feelings toward her. The romance between them is very nice and I liked the HEA. I didn’t really like the conclusion to the 5-book storyline about James. I don’t believe in spoilers ever, so I will just say that the solution was too far out of left field for it to work. The climactic sequence was good, but the identity of the bad guys didn’t work for me. And then, after the torment and torture he’d been through, James was pretty much OK – kind of like this book in the series.

Wow! What an ending to this series. Lots of action, failed kidnappings, secrets, betrayl and well love.
Who could ask for more? Not this reader.
Molly McKinnon is determined to find her father as is the rest of the family. After a failed kidnapping attempt Parker Bailey is assigned to protect Molly. He has worked for the McKinnon's helping to run the ranch for 5 years and he has kept her at arms length for all of that time. It wouldn't bode well to date the boss's daughter so her kept her away but not she needs him even if she doesn't want his protection. Parker is a former US Air Force PJ who was recevied a career ending injury but is the perfect person to protect her.
Molly is independent, stubborn as the day is long and she is out to prove that she can run the ranch better than anyone, even her brother's. She has always wondered why her father couldn't see how hard she works and that she was hurt when he hired Parker as the foreman. She can do it all. She has watched her brothers fall in love and she never really thought about that for herself. Not until Parker starts treating her differently.
Great story. I very much enjoyed this series and loved that we got to see the Brotherhood Protectors through out the series and they helped to track down Molly's kidnapped father.

Warrior’s Resolve: Iron Horse Legacy, Book 5 is by Elle James. This is the final book in this series. The series is about family unity against all odds as well as giving love a second chance. James McKinnon was working for the sheriff when he was abducted. The thief has been seriously injured by another member of the gang and as he was dying he whispered to James. He said “ it was hidden where the eagle flies into the mountain”. This made no sense to James. However, he was taken prisoner by the other man and was moved every day to a different location to keep him from being found. His sons had found traces which indicated he was being tortured to find out something.
James’ sons came home from the military on various leaves to look for their father. During their time at home, they reconnected or connected with the woman they were destined to marry. Angus reconnected with his best friend Bree. Duncan found that he had a baby with Fiona. Colin met Emily and Bastion became reacquainted with Jenna. They joined forces with their sister Molly and the leader of the Brotherhood Protectors, Hank Patterson, to find their father.
Would they find him in time? Who was behind all this trouble?

We are back at the Iron Horse Ranch, home to the McKinnon’s. A family that for the past few weeks (and where we got to meet them in the previous stories) have been trying to find the patriarch, James McKinnon. He was kidnapped and they have evidence that he also has been torture by people who believe he knows where is the money a convict was seeking.
Molly, the youngest of the McKinnon’s, has been running the ranch and is the woman the foreman, Parker, has been attracted to from the moment he started working at the ranch 5 years ago.
When someone tries to kidnap and harm Molly more than once, he’s determined to stay by her side and protect her. This opens Molly’s eyes to Parker not as the foreman, but as a man.
Danger continues in the family’s pursue to find their father. Will they find him in time? Will Molly and Parker find their HEA, or will the kidnappers finally be successful in eliminating anyone who gets in their way?
This story ends this engaging series and one that gave us the opportunity to spend some time with some of the characters of the author’s previous series.

Warrior’s Resolve is the 5th book in the Iron Horse Legacy series, and with this book Elle James has written the PERFECT conclusion to the series. Molly McKinnon, who is super feisty, is the only girl among her siblings and has worked on the ranch for the last 5-years as her brothers went off to serve in the military. Her father hired Parker Bailey, a former USAF Pararescue PJ, to be the foreman for the ranch, which Molly resented because she felt she could do it; meanwhile Parker was attracted to her, but thought “hands off the boss’s daughter”. While her brothers are home, as they investigate her father’s disappearance, she gets attacked and they assign Parker to be he bodyguard; not to mention Hank Patterson’s Brotherhood Protectors get involved also! Oh yes, this is an Elle James book so sparks fly - Molly doesn’t want a babysitter, plus they have big time chemistry, and people are attacking the family. I actually held my breath at times! This book was so good, I can’t wait to read it again!!!

Parker is an ex para jumper who was hurt on his last assignment and he also lost those he was sent in to rescue he has trouble forgiving himself There is one other than he battles his attraction to his boss's daughter because he knows that he would never be good enough for her. Now with the crooks who have James McKinnon getting ever more desperate they are looking for leverage against him putting Molly in danger he can no longer distance himself from her but in fact must stick by her side to keep her safe the only problem that is causing passion to flare between them Can they have a future together You will have to read to see

Backup Buddy, that's what Parker is to Molly. Parker has to hold back as he wants to be more than that. Molly's doesn't think she needs a backup buddy, she can take care of herself. Molly has four older brothers and she has to prove herself more than necessary to her parents. Her father is still missing and the threats are escalating on her family on a daily basis. Enough is enough. The suspense is on every page and you are along for the ride. "I do believe I might be feeling the L word for you." ... "Lust?" ... nope.
This chapter ties everything together over the last five books, but it can be read as a stand alone, but highly recommend you read all the other chapters first, as there is so much background if you do. Ms. James is definitely a favourite author of mine and I do recommend any of her books and especially the Iron Horse Legacy Series/Brotherhood Protector series.

I have been waiting fo Molly and Parker’s book fo a long time. I think they are great characters and I loved the book. This is the final book in the Iron Horse Ranch Legacy series and it was a doozy. Book five continued with the McKinnons and Parker still looking for James, the patriarch of the family. Parker and Molly met five years ago when he was hired by James to be foreman of the ranch, a job Molly has wanted her whole life. But now she has another Alpha to contend with besides her 4 military brothers. Soon Molly and Parker find out they are attracted to one another. Parker is worried because he thinks of Molly as the “bosses daughter.” Things change when someone is targeting everyone else in the family especially Molly and her mom. Now Parker wants to be the sole protector of Molly. And things start to heat up. I love the closeness of this family. They all bond together to find James and return to their lives before this tragedy happened.

Whooeee, what an awesome book! Warrior's Resolve is an outstanding romantic suspense by Elle James. Ms. James has once again proved her writing mojo is still with her. Warrior's Resolve is a well-written book and I love the characters in this book. Parker became the ranch foreman for the Iron Horse Ranch after an injury caused him to leave the military. Molly is the youngest child of the McKinnon's and the only daughter. She loves the ranch and is angry that she wasn't made foreman. Molly and Parker's story is loaded with drama, humor, action, steamy sex and suspense. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to my next book by Elle James. Warrior's Resolve is book 5 of the Iron Horse Legacy Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

Warrior's Resolve by Elle James is the fifth book in her Iron Horse Legacy series and the end of the overall series story arc. This has been a wild ride, but now all the McKinnon siblings have found true love and are well on their way to their Happily Ever Afters. The main characters in this book are the youngest McKinnon sibling and the only girl, Molly and the foreman of the ranch for the last five years, Parker Bailey. Parker found himself attracted to Molly from the beginning of his employment on the ranch but decided he really needed to keep his hands off the boss' daughter. Molly resented the hiring of Parker because she believed herself capable of running the ranch. It took lots of danger to jolt these two into admitting they cared about each other. I loved all the action in this story. It is the perfect ending to the series.

James McKinnon is still missing – and his kidnappers are not letting up on the pressure. His daughter Molly, the only girl in the family, is clearly most vulnerable – but Parker, the ranch foreman that Molly so deeply resents, is not going to let anything happen to her – and he is ably backed by her brothers. The relationship between Molly and Parker on its own makes this book a good one! This book doesn’t need you to have read the other Iron Horse Legacy books, although your experience is richer if you have done so. It’s a gripping story that’s full of surprises – and pay careful attention to the hints that Elle James drops along the way! It’s a book to read and re-read, and it’s one of the best endings to a series that I’ve read – even I leaked a little at the end. It’s a hearty recommendation.

It’s been five years since ranch foreman Parker Bailey saw and fell in love with Molly McKinnon but as the boss’ daughter, he feels it’s inappropriate. Her dad’s kidnappers change tactics, they drug and try kidnapping Molly, the first of three attempts in as many days. They almost succeed in front of Parker, he was worried and searching for Molly, she’s been out of touch too long. A local thug says he was paid anonymously to attack the McKinnon ranch where someone= is shot!
Tired of the defense that isn’t working, the family decides it’s time they make an offense or at least an aggressive defensive move. The perfect opportunity for the McKinnon’s to unveil their plan, attend Molly’s favorite fundraiser while one of the attendees is a perfect suspect and they find a strong scent of betrayal.

What is better than a cowboy or a military hottie? A hot, sexy cowboy who joins the military. This is a great series. The McKinnon family is the true meaning of family. Molly is the only girl. So when her brothers head off to join the military, Molly is mad that her dad has hired a foreman. Parker was medically discharged from the military. When James McKinnon hires him as foreman, he couldn't be happier. But his daughter doesn't seem to want him there. Over the years, Parker has tried to stay out of her way, even though he is attracked to her. Molly thinks that Parker doesn't like her, because he goes out of his way to avoid her. When their dad is kidnapped, it's up to the McKinnon family to save him. Now they have to work together. Will they give into their feelings?

Another great read about the strong McKinnon family as they search with the help of the Brotherhood Protectors for their missing father. This time Molly, the daughter, enlists the help of Parker Bailey, the foreman of the ranch, to find her father. Not knowing who is the enemy leads to many intense encounters as they work their way through a maze of dead ends. Strong will and determination leads to many surprises that in the end hopefully will solve everything.
Once again strong characters grab you and don’t let go until the last word.

This was the best book in the series. Parker is a former Air Force Pararescue and the foreman for the Iron Horse Ranch. Molly is the baby and only girl of the McKinnon's and always trying to do more than her brothers. The descriptions of the landscape is so vivid that you feel like you are looking at it too. I was given an ARC for an honest review and I loved it. This book is full of action, suspense, romance and family. Each book in this series has been great and is a stand alone. I recommend everyone of them. I have the whole set on my Kindle and in paperback and will be reading them again.

4.5***** stars. What a great western suspenseful love story! James, the head of the family, is still missing. Molly and her brothers are desperately searching for him. Parker, former Seal and ranch foreman, is very protective of Molly. They suspect the kidnappers will start going to the family members to make James talk. Molly appears to be first on their list. A father wouldn’t let his daughter be tortured. It’s got an unexpected kidnapper reveal! Well written. It’s always heartwarming to see these families bond in a united front to save a loved one.

Elle James is a prolific writer. She writes stories about heroes and heroines willing to stay on the side of good always. This series is especially great because it focuses on service members and the people they love. The McKinnon family is dealing with the absence of the patriarch. They are trying to locate him while keeping everyone else safe. Molly is the only girl and is chafing under the restrictions of being watched. Bailey is the foreman and given the task of watching over Molly. This is a fast paced, action packed story. It shows the track of Molly and Bailey falling in love as well as uncovering the bad guys and rescuing Mr. M.

A story of the McKinnon family. A strong, loving, caring and close knit family gathering to find the patriarch who's been missing for weeks. Now Molly, the youngest and only daughter, has become the target. Parker, foreman of the Iron Horse, is assigned to protect Molly. That stirs their hidden feelings for each other. Lots of banter and suspense.
A touching story full of strong characters which has spanned over four books. You get attached to the family and become completely engrossed in their lives. It's a rare story you want to continue but also want a resolution. It's definitely one of the best series I've read.

I purchased a copy of the steamy Montana set romantic suspense Warrior Resolve {Iron Horse Legacy Book 5} by Elle James and this review was given freely.
Intense with good use of foreshadowing, and a persistent villain. The expanding McKinnon family survives both multiple attacks on their ranch and their family members while working with Hank Patterson to locate their missing Patriarch.

I've so been waiting on this book. Was not disappointed. Been waiting for the into of the patriach that has been kidnapped and missing for a while now. Molly is the only daughter and not paired with anyone. Parker is an ex para rescuer and his career ended with an injury and a pilot he couldn't save. He's foreman on thier ranch and has been trying to avoid Molly since he's attracted to her and the boss's daughter. When the kidnappers aren't getting the info they want from Molly's dad, they try kidnapping her. There is a lot of danger, surprises and feelings revealed. HEA.

We are back at Iron Horse Ranch where they have been trying to find their father. This is Molly's story. She is the only girl in the family and has helped her father run the ranch while her brothers have been gone. Her father hire Parker to run the ranch. Parker has liked Molly from the beginning but has kept his distance. After the attempt to kidnap her Parker gets the job of watching out for her. There's suspense, twists and turns, mystery and romance. Will they find their father before it's to late? We also get to see the rest of the family. Couldn't wait to get to the end to see what happens!

I love this series and this book. An awesome finish for the series. Molly's father went missing a couple weeks ago and they know someone is holding him hostage. Her brothers have instigated the buddy system for everyone in order to keep everyone safe until they can find their father. The kidnappers are getting desperate and go after Molly. Parker is now Molly's buddy. Parker has avoided the boss's daughter for five years and now he has to spend time with her to keep her safe. He already wants her. Will he be able to keep her safe? Must read to find out.

I love the stories in this series and this one is no exception.
Someone is out to get Molly, the guys must call in help to protect the women and each other.
This is mainly Molly and Parker's story, their tension that turns awkwardness and indifference to love. Both have been in denial too long. Is the foreman good enough for the boss's daughter?
Danger is all around them as they hunt for their father's kidnapper only to find Molly gone too.
Great plot and wonderful characters, I really enjoyed it.

The tension is rising, time is running out to find their missing father, just where is he being held. Despite all their efforts Mr McKinnon was nowhere to be found.
After the attempted abduction on Molly, Parker is tasked with looking after her and together they search for Molly’s father but will they be successful?
This is an excellent and intriguing story, well written and extremely enjoyable.

Warrior's Resolve is the fifth book in the Iron Horse Legacy series. It had plenty of action, suspense and danger. Parker and Molly were wonderful characters who made a great couple. I also loved catching up with the other family members from the previous books. Although, I am sad to see this series end, it was a perfect ending for this amazing series. I would definitely recommend this book and this amazing series.

A wonderful story of two people admitting their love for each other during a family crisis. Molly's father's kidnappers are getting bolder. Trying to kidnap other family members to make Molly's father talk. Parker has always been attracted to Molly but attempts to kidnap her bring his out his protective side and his love for her. Page turner.
No cliffhanger and HEA. Great series.

Molly’s father is missing and Parker is the foreman of the Iron Horse Ranch, that belongs to Molly’s family. Parker was in the military and has a damaged leg and survivor’s guilt. Molly has been an annoyance but sparks are flying between them. What will happen when she is kidnapped by the same people who have her father? Fast-paced read with great chemistry and is action-packed with loads of drama and steam. I liked it.
