Welcome to Motherhood! Again. In an attempt to make your passage through the baby dark ages a bit brighter, this registered nurse and mom of two, has written a book. Well, sort of.
Two under Two doubles as an informal guide to parenting and a humorous collection of anecdotes from the point of view of a mother with two children under two years old. Danielle Lacourse Vaughn offers up practical advice and solutions to commonly encountered scenarios, both regarding the children and the family as a whole.
It's designed to make you laugh, give you hope, and help keep your husband alive. For now.
Listen, I know you're busy. And reading a book isn't at the top of your ever-growing to-do list. But she's not really a writer, and this isn't really a book.
So, reheat your coffee. For maybe the third time today. And start reading. You might just find it's possible to survive this demanding season of your life that comes with having two under two. And who knows, that husband of yours may even make it out alive.
just the pick me up I need after being victimized by my kids
I literally could’ve written this myself, though not as well. Danielle is hilarious, truthful, validating, and so relatable. I highlighted about 73.8% of the book not because she wrote anything new or revolutionary, but because she’s giving me the reminders and encouragement I constantly need as a two under two mom. And yes, she was right. I did read this while holding my infant during nap time drinking my cold cup of coffee.
Just found out I’m having a second baby and they will be 17 months apart. This author did a great job with this book and it was a light hearted way to jump into my “studying.” I want to note that it is very short - took me about an hour to read. I do wish I’d known that before I spent $9 on it. But there are some useful tips in here and I would recommend if you think the price is right.
