Eris Renard

Rate this book
Ten years after the events at Green Lake, former conservation officer Eris Renard finds his life’s direction has changed, not of his own choosing but due to the obsessions and brutal tactics of others. He finds himself caught up in a group rescue and becomes part of an adventure that twists accepted belief systems, challenges reality, and awakens feelings in him for the most vulnerable among them.
He’ll deal with all of it in his own implacable fashion, but first he has to make sure everyone survives someone called The Magician, and then somehow capture a kidnapper who’s about to be abducted himself.

Captivating Read

I was surprised at the dark turn the storyline took! Loved how new characters were pulled into the story and woven in, so that the "fabric" encompasses the story! Brilliant! Love how ends were left somewhat dangling. Enticing...what will happen with Clint and Baba...will Sara try to kidnap her grand-daughter again. Winter Slocum could be an entire series by himself!

Not as good as the first

I know it's based 10 years after but our hero didn't seem the same still a good read seems a shame he had to lose his true love
