Amazing read

This was by far the BEST book I have read thus far! I love the drama and the storyline was on point. The flow was nicely paced. It really kept me turning pages! I wanted to give it 5 stars but the editing was horrible. I don't know who or what company you use but I implore you to find another. All in All...Great read

Drama!

This is some serious drama in this story. I love the story from beginning to end. As a Washingtonian I'll have to say, this is some drama for your mama. Lol! Secrets are very dangerous. They definitely destroy families. I'm hoping everyone gets their happily ever after, including Kenya. Not to say that I'm happy, but now realizing there is a legit reason why Kenya acts the way that she does towards her family, not approving how she acts, but I can understand it. Still I'm hoping when everything come to the surface that everyone heals, forgives, learns and move forward for the better. Great Read! Next installment. ReneeG

A 5 star plus read

This book is SO good!! Definitely a 5 star plus read. Nubia wasted no time taking out the garbage with the two deceitful people in her life. I don't want to give away any details but I almost gave this a 4 because of my disappointment in Lucky but everyone is just not a stand up parent. Kenya is still the hated character because of how she treats those kids but I can at least understand where it all comes from. Very very good read and so glad part 2 is ready.

Good start to the series

Kenya is something but it all makes sense now. I wonder what is going to happen when the secret gets out. Poor Shaka and Kimani and Winter 😭😭two totally different situations but almost the same. Jumping into book 2

I just knew from the moment Nubia mentioned her husband, that nigga was a simp & couldn’t be trusted smh Travis was broke, no ambition what so ever, that nigga was just content wit eating off of Nubia’s plate, drying her pockets smfh. What took me out was him asking her to do that thing when they was at dinner...like really nigga you broke, can’t even pay for dinner but order a bunch of shit then gone ask her to slide the money for the bill to him under the table so it look like he paying... My ass would’ve been divorced his ass fuck a vow being made sorry not sorry. Nigga had a lil dick & the audacity to sleep wit Nubia broke ass sister and get her pregnant lordt the betrayal! Kenya is pathetic, from the way to she treated Nubia who’ve done nothing but good to her to the way she treated her kids but now that the secret is out the bag it all make sense as to why she is the way she is

This ain't it.

Ok this is my 1st read by this author (I think) But where do I start? Ok I'm gonna assume that every author have an editor and/or test readers and If that's the case they failed the author.
In the beginning of the book it was written that Kenya's father left before she was born, leaving the mother a single mom. Then later in the book. It is written that the mother married Kenya's father that was also a junkie that overdosed and died and left his restaurant to the mother but she lost it because he was in debt. Which one is it. Then towards the ending of the book the killing how did she know? It's just to many inconsistencies.

My Review

I love it. Starting to really like this author. The missing words are a turn off but I'm enjoying the story. Nubia is getting ready to have a huge problem because Zoe is going to try & destroy her to try to keep Hill. This is about to get interesting. Poor Kenya has been through something, my goodness. I can't believe that she was sleeping with Travis. Her poor children especially her son. Hopefully someone comes along & gets him on the right track. Shontella is a trip but at least she has her father & he's trying to do the right thing. Poor Lucky not the man everybody thought he was

Wow what a ride!

This book was so good! Hill was on point as well as Nubia! What a scandalous baby mama and husband, not to mention Kenya and her bull crap! I really wonder what will happen with Winter, Shaka and Kimora. What will Shontelle try and pull, so many unanswered questions! I can hardly believe what happened with the parentals! Those poor kids having to go through so much was so sad! I am looking forward to seeing what happens with everyone, especially what Zoe decides to do now that the cat is out the bag! The grammatical errors in this book made me give it a lower rating but the story is on point so I will definitely keep reading!

Listen!!

Omg this book left me jaw dropped!
Most definitely a page turner and it left me wanting more.
It’s hard to speak about the book without telling what’s going to happen but what I will say is that you will not be disappointed. Kenya is a lost soul and she doesn’t realize it’s not her fault and I now see why she feels the way she does. I really feel bad for her. I just hope that her and Nubia can somehow at least become cordial. Damn this was a great read! Next book please!

Good Good Story!

This was not only a story about a failed marriage, but secrets that are about to rip a family apart. There are going to be some twist and turns in this story and you are going to be like "what the neck"! But I can promise things are going to be revealed. This was very entertaining and there are moments when you laugh out loud. The chemistry is really good so the story flows effortlessly. This was good writing and you are going to want to know what happens in the next installment.

Good read

Wow.. Did not see that coming. Even though one sister was hurt during childhood that did not give her a right to hurt her family. She hurt her kids and her sister. She should have told period. Now her mother was savage.. She did what she had to do and took his nasty tail out!!

This is a good book

Travis doesn’t deserve someone like Nubia but unfortunately she had to find out he was sleeping with her sister!!! Dang that’s messed up about Adele finding out Lucky was raping her daughter n that Shaka may just be his son. Now that Zoe know Nubia n Hill are talking she may mess up her divorce

Da F@@@

Man say it ain't so? I was not expecting that shit to go down. I'm sorry Kenya has to endure what she went through. That shit can break the strongest woman. Yet and still that have her no right to do her sister like that. I can see now that Zoe gonna be a vindictive little Bish.

I can’t believe Lucky did that to Kenya! That explains why she is the way she is, but don’t condone how she treats her sister and her kids. Shontelle and Kenya are so disgusting. I feel so sorry for their kids. Travis is dispicable . I hope Nubia and Hill get together, after dealing with the people in their lives. I’m looking forward to next installment.

Good

Don't let the suit fool you. What a story. Baby mama crazy and lazy. But once he put eyes on a Boss Lady, it was one from there. A cheating and lazy husband and the betrayal of him with her sister was all it took , for her not to look back.
