This first issue really needed more backstory to get me fully invested. It jumped around a bit too much and was somewat difficult to follow as a result. I don't yet know the characters to know their motivations. Still the concept is interesting, and I'm willing to see if it improves in the next issue.

A cat with the ability to astral project to the far reaches of the universe, held captive by an evil government agency, bent on claiming all resources in the universe for Earth.

This is not an easy read (animal harm/endangerment), but it definitely helps to make the stakes feel real.

Would definitely recommend.

Ok so, I loved this and I am absolutely terrified of how it's going to go. Please don't let them hurt the kitty. It's so freaking precious it hurts.

Definitely more depressing than I was expecting. Cute, astral projecting cat, but very dark story. Reading the synopsis I guess I thought it was going to be more cat superhero traveling the galaxy saving humans. The story definitely has a different tone. It's well written and deep, just not what I expected going into it.
The art was fantastic!

I was dying to get my hands on this, but could only find it on ebook. I hated reading this on the Kindle, some of the panels were too small and super hard to read. Even when I tried to enlarge, it was wonky and hard to figure out if I was on the correct panel. (It was okay on the phone, thankfully.) I'd much rather read it physically!

I didn't really read enough to form a legit opinion about it, but I'm super intrigued by Lou the cat! Let's be honest, that's the sole reason I bought it, heh. I could care less about the people, I just want more Lou! I can't wait to read more - I pre-ordered the omnibus on Amazon!

Wow, this was such a cool plot idea. A futuristic dystopian world where a young female scientist creates a device to allow her (and others) to understand her cat (they made it so he can talk like a person).  Lou the cat is great, and is also able to astral project to other planets. The art is pretty, the story is fun and the plot leaves me wanting more! Can't wait to read more of this series!

It does feel like we need a tinge more explanation of the world, hence knocking off a star, but I’m still going to continue reading the series.

A great first issue. Sucks you in for what should be a wild ride through space. Although I am already feeling bad for the way they treat the cat.
