Alien Diplomat and Cougar Heiress?!?

✨Okay, I really liked this one! Jet was such a cutie, and his chemistry with the FMC? Chef's kiss. They were adorable together! 😍

The mix of action, politics, and romance kept things interesting, and I never felt bored. Definitely one of my favorites in the series!

Sparks fly!
These Star-crossed alien stories are SO exciting! In this one, Jet Tinder, a Pyrosian diplomat finds his Spark in the most unexpected manner. Personally, I think he and Hanna Dewan are perfect for each other. She is a rescuer, and he has a safe haven for those she rescues. Although Hanna doesn’t trust in the fated mate aspect of the Spark, she cannot deny its effects. I love their personalities and their enjoyment of each other. They do an excellent job of helping themselves out of a very dangerous situation. And there’s more to come! Hurray!

Crazy kidnap victim romance

Jet is Pyrosian, and has fled to the Pyrosian embassy on Earth to escape the stifling control of his family. He and an important embassy guest, Hannah Dewan, are kidnapped by anti-alien terrorists. Things get rough when they are confined in adjacent cells, and then things get muddled when an accidental touch triggers the the mating bond an d the Scorching. These two have a tension-fraught and sexy time trying to outwit their captors and find a way to escape. No spoilers, but HEA happens for all but the undeserving terrorists. total enjoyment!

Jet is the first Pyrosian ambassador to Earth and while acting in that capacity he is kidnapped with two human women and a Romaki by an anti-aliens group. It was a heck of a way to meet his fated mate but Hanna is smart, strong and despite coming from wealth she is no wilting daisy she is tough. I thoroughly enjoyed this installment and can’t wait for Vykors story.

Jet and Hanna

Jet is the Pyrosian ambassador to Earth and he has a meeting with Hanna Dewan a woman who's life goal is to save a her and battered women and children and she want to see if Out of is the place to send them away from these men and wars. He picks them up from the airport and they are betrayed by the driver. Hanna, her assistant Lily and her bodyguard Megan are gassed and everyone is taken but Mega who is left with a message inked on her thighs. Hanna and Jet are out in separate cells in a shopping container and Lily and Vykos in another. After 2 days they are located and are rescued but Lily is shot which makes Vykos turn into a dragon, something he's never been able to do before. Bulls hides Lily and burns the bad guys to ash and everyone escapes, Lily is saved and they all retreat for their mating fever. Jet and Hanna go back to the Embassy and after lots of sex and Jet telling his father off they discover neither wants children. They live a great life on Earth.

I have to say this series is one I will probably reread many times. Jet, he is the diplomat from Pyros at the alien embassy. Hanna is head person of her little band meeting with Jet. They represent women & children to find them safe places to live any where on earth. Now they have decided to look farther, it is being discussed to see if they can live on Pyros, if they wanted to. Hanna, her assistant, Lily & their bodyguard Megan are picked up by the Jet & Vykor, an alien from Romik in the embassy limo. While things are being tossed back & forth between them, Megan yells for everyone to hold on. The limo is rammed. She asks Vykor if he can transform & get everyone out. Unfortunately, he was born without a dragon spirit, so he can't do magic or become a dragon. Megan asks the driver if he is ok & he tosses a gas canaster back to them. He locks them in, & she tries to kick out the bullet proof windows but can't break them. Jet was able to get a distress signal to his head of security, Karos, Fire dragon of Romik. When he gets there the only one he finds is Megan with a message written on her. The others are gone. Jet & the others start coming around to notice they are in the back of a vehicle. All tied up wearing hoods unable to see. When Jet tries to ask everyone if they are all right he gets hit pretty hard. Hanna is treated no better for answering. They are told no talking, & from what they assume by what the kidnappers say, is that only 4 of them are there. So, Megan got left behind, why? Not sure yet, will have to find out. By the things said & the way they are treating the men this is the humanity first group. They are the ones that bombed the stadium last year. They are unloaded into a warehouse & taken to different areas. Lily & Vykor are secured in a small cell off to the side where he is tied to a chair. Jet & Hanna are taken to a different area not too far away with what looks like a big cell & a barred wall down the middle, with a door on each side. Not the best put together prison in the world. welding is sort of flimsy, lighting is not very good either. There is a cot for each & a couple of pitiful blankets. It is pretty cold. When they get to talking about what to do. Hanna thinks about her necklace Megan gave her, it is a tracker for this sort of thing, she feels for it. It is gone, they figure they must have checked them for bugs or something to know about it. The only people who knew about it would have never told anyone. About that time, they hear Lily yell at someone & the sound of someone getting hit. Vykor yells at them to leave her alone & it sounds like more fighting. Hanna tells Jet she thinks it is John, Lily's half-brother, who is causing all of this. They soon find out that he wants a prisoner exchange for some of the head leader of Humanity first, who had been arrested for the bombing of the stadium. While Jet & Hanna are looking over their cell to see if there is anyway to escape they brush hands & the spark jumps. Jet hadn't expected this! He had come to Earth to escape his pushy parents who were harping on him to find a mate & have a few heirs. He is from the minor royalty family. If the Prince had not found a mate so he can take the throne as King when his father dies, Jet's father would have been the next in line. Jet was so relieved when that was taken off his shoulders! He shuddered to even think what a disaster it would have been for Pyros if his father had been King. Anyway, they find that the bars on the bottom are very badly welded & if bent right they can be popped out. They know that for Jet to unlock his fire power they have to mate. To do that they need to get together. So Hanna asks one of the nicer guards if she can have another blanket. He brings her a few. When the guards bring Hanna her meal, pitiful as it is, they share it. While they are sharing their meal they figure out how to wrap the blanket around the bars for leverage & lower the sound. They get the bars out & Hanna crawls into his cell. The scorching is already getting hard to control, so they go on with the mating. While all this is going on inside, Karos & Megan are doing everything they can to find & rescue their friends. By this time Karos has discovered that Megan is his mate. Both are feeling the sensations of mating fever but are still trying to focus & keep on track. Then very late Karos's dragon won't quit arguing about their mate & they both decide to work out in the gym. They get together, he accidentally mates & claims her. She isn't aware until the next day she is a dragon. When morning comes around, Hanna is back in her cell, the bars have been replaced. Jet is able to work with fire. There is a loud noise outside, the men all running around to find out the building is under siege by 2 dragons, a few fire throwing aliens & their mates. Some policemen are arresting the humanity first people who are running out. John & a few of his others went into Lily & Vykor's cell there is some yelling, Lily screams, a gunshot, another roar. Then, another dragon, with Lily on his back. Jet & Hanna manage to get out of their cell after Jet melts the door. They all get out, & wait while Lily is being cared for. It seems as if there is no way to save her unless Vykor makes her like him. So he does, they go off alone together for a few days, while the mating fever lasts. They will meet up afterward. Back at the embassy Hanna hears Jet arguing with his father about coming home. He has a mate, he has a duty to be back home, & having an heir. Hanna walked away, upset. She hadn't told him, with everything going on, she is unable to have children. He was going to be pretty mad at her! Jet wasn't that worried about it. He never thought he would have a mate. Plus he never really wanted kids that much either. He is happy right where he is. He doesn't want to go back. He has a job, his mate, his friends. He'd rather stay here. So, as far as he is concerned, there is nothing wrong with her not being able to have kids. She is his mate. I love it.

Yet Another Great Story!

This was a little different to the previous stories, but just as good. After their kidnapping and stuck in cells, it is when Jet reaches out to Hanna to offer comfort to her, that the spark happens. Hanna knows what it is, what it means and wasn't initially happy. She sees herself as a cougar to the younger Jet but he is determined! :) They work through the scorching with a little help of broken bars! Read and you will learn. Now just one more book to read after some lunch.

I have no idea how I got started on the 8th book of a series. Or how it just happened to be older heroine, younger hero. In any case it started out with promise but fizzled by being more about other couples toward the end, only to come back for a second sex scene. Wow it was short. And mostly an ad for other books. Oh, and way to step on your fire throwing alien hero by surrounding him with dragons. Anticlimactic anyone?

Lastly, “star crossed” doesn’t mean meant for each other. It means the opposite, ill fated. The stars work against them. Written in the stars is what should have been used.

This is a steamy short story about the Pyrosian ambassador to Earth, Jet, and his fated mate, Hanna, who heads a charity that helps abused women. They had set up a first meeting to discuss those abused women and children going to Pyros but they were ambushed and kidnapped while driving to the embassy. When their hands touch, the sparks fly. They take advantage, as much as they can being in cells, of their time together. They work out their differences and find their happily ever after.

Awesome addition to this series!

Jet and Hannah are another amazing, exciting story. In Karos, Jet and the next installment Vykor, Susan shares what happens to three couples when two are abducted and the third is searching for them. On top of this, they are all dealing with the scorching!

Another intergalactic Dating Agency book and I enjoyed as much as the others. Word of advice -read these books in order as characters are added as the series unfolds. This one has adventure, danger and unexpected revelations for the characters in this story. And they all get their HEA.

Jet is the eighth book in this series by Susan Hayes and the sixth book to feature a Pyrosian male and human female “Fated Mates” pairing. You would think by now she’d have run out of hilarious and crazy ways for these mates to meet and initiate the Spark. Or that her characters wouldn’t be so unique and interesting, yet realistic and human in the very best ways. Yet somehow, she once again manages to create and place this pair in probably the only situation that allows each of them to reach out to the other and admit they’re stronger together.

Hanna is somewhat of a rarity among humans. She is a woman of means who uses her considerable influence to rescue women and children on Earth who live in fear, poverty, and oppression. She is determined, successful, insightful and humble as well as a quick and excellent judge of character. For all this, she struggles to feel worthy, especially of being Jet’s mate.

Jet is unique among all the Pyrosians and Romaki. He is a diplomat, a man who uses words and not weapons to fight his battles. A former soldier from an influential family on Pyros, he’s enjoying all that Earth has to offer even as he focuses his efforts on making sure the humans he encounters are aware of all that Pyros has to offer. A true diplomat, he is capable of being both charming and sincere in conversation. He is also insightful and humble and has never dared to hope he’d find a mate.

This series hooked me from the moment I read “What do you do when your planet runs out of women? Send for takeout, of course.” in the blurb for the first one. And now that we’re up to book eight I’m thrilled to say I love each one a little bit more!

Jet is the second book in this current trilogy, or book eight in the Star-Crossed Alien Mail Order Brides series. Jet, the Pyrosian ambassador to Earth, and Hanna, an advocate for abused woman, have plans to meet and discuss a future mutual goal, but on the way, they get kidnapped! When they accidentally trigger the Spark, things get even more complicated. Can they work out their future and get free safely?

This book was so fun! Jet and Hanna intrigued me in the previous book, but I loved having their story now! What a match! They were absolutely perfect for each other with similar life goals and advocacy plans, and I just loved the circumstances of their mating. Jet shows one face to the world, but few see his true self. I loved that he didn’t have traditional Pyrosian goals, but as soon as he met Hanna, he was willing to do anything for her. Hanna was so used to putting others ahead of herself, she was unused to someone else caring for her. She had her own hiccups, but I loved how she responded and reacted towards Jet. There’s a lot of drama and intrigue and things get set up for the next book, but I really enjoyed this book, I loved Jet and Hanna, and love this universe that Ms. Hayes has created!

Hanna has a meeting with the Pyrosians to decide if relocating the abused women & children she saves to their planet would be in their best interest. On her way to their embassy, the car she's in, along with 2 of her friends, 1 Pyrosian & 1 Romaki is ambushed. Four of them are taken hostage. Hanna is put in a cell that adjoins Jet's. They accidentally touch which causes the "spark" indicating to them that they are mates. Jet knows that the rux is going to set in soon, but they have to find a way to be together without bars separating them. They notice that some of the bars don't have a solid melding at the bottom & devise a plan to break them. They know that they have to escape & after they have come together for the first time, Jet gets his dragon fire & Hanna can throw fireballs.

This is only the 2nd book in this series that I've read & only the 2nd book by this author. (I missed books 1-6) I can't wait to read Vykor & Lily's story next as they are the other 2 taken hostage in this book. The characters are great & this is a truly unique story. There's a HEA for almost everyone in this story.

Hanna and Jet are imprisoned in cells next to each other. But Hanna accidentally touches Jet and it creates the “Spark”. For Jet’s species, this indicates they are fated mates and it is critical that they have access to each other for the Scorching, a mating fever which will follow.

Pyrosians are very protective of their mates, and Hanna is not used to someone being so attentive and caring of her needs. Will she let her own doubts and fears get in the way of her happiness? Can they escape from their captors and finish what they started?

This is such a wonderful story line. The Pyrosians are a favorite of mine. There is so much more going on for the reader to enjoy, so grab your copy and get into their story. You won’t regret it!

This book had me from the beginning. I'm loving this series and just can't seem to get enough. Jet is the Pyrosian ambassador and Hanna is the human he has been working with to create a bride program. They have never met before and this is their first face to face meeting. Jet just seems like the playboy type, but when he meets Hanna I could feel his attitude changing. To me a really great story has my emotions in an uproar and this book did that for me. There was also that hint of a possible betrayal, a kidnapping, an escape and a rescue attempt. I loved that Hanna was also a politician and she actually had so much in common with Jet. His easy going banter and his ability to think even through the Scorching was another thing that enamored me with him. Hanna, herself, was quick thinking and convincing. Their connection was powerful. I can't wait for Vykor's book, too. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.

What another amazing book from Susan Hayes! It is very well written with a great plot.

Jet comes to earth to escape his over bearing father. He never wanted to mate or have children. Then he gets kidnapped by that crazy human group. In the midst of the kidnapping, he fined his true mate. The only problem, they are in separate cells. Hannah does not believe they belong together, since she is so much older. What to do....

Will they survive the Sorcha? How will the escape? Does age matter? What about kids?

Read this great book and find out what happens to everyone. I can not wait for the next one!!

I love Susan Hayes and her books and this one did not disappoint!!! I love alien romance with hot alpha males and this one delivered. The word, plot and character building made me feel like I was there watching the story unfold. I loved Jet and Hanna together and watching Hanna come to terms with being jets true mate, his tani. It's a fun story with plenty of action, twists, turns, suspense, drama, kidnapping, dragons, hot alpha aliens, and a hot and steamy romance you'll love. I won't give away any more of the story other than to say I highly recommend this book! It's a must read for any fan and you need to grab it to see for they get their HEA!!! I can't wait to read more!!!!

Another good story in the series. Jet is a smooth diplomat looking only to improve the lives of his people.. He is more than willing to help Hanna bring abused women and children to Pyros for a better life.

After being kidnapped and held hostage they discovered they were mates. Hanna has her doubts. She seems to obsess about being older than Jet as well as not being able to have children. I am not a fan of heroines who obsess about being older than the hero so this is probably the only negative thing I can say about the story. Jet is the perfect mate for her since he is more than willing to help her with her cause and he doesn’t want children.

LOVE LOVE LOVE. Yup.. I loved Jet. This is another fantastic book in the series and probably one of my favorites. I loved seeing a cougar mate a younger man.. rawr.
While captive they have to come up with a creative way to take care of the Scortching and also overcome Hannah and her ideas of being too old. Hmmmm, this could get very interesting.
This book, while it can be a stand alone, is better if read in order. Bring on Vykor because I cannot wait to see how this set ends up!

This story is related to Karos and perfectly tells the story of how Hannah and Jet became mated. I was wondering about that when I read Karos. And this one has a kilig factor especially that part were Jet is ‘convincing’ Hannah they were mates and age does not matter.

Oh, how the two become mated despite being imprisoned is likewise answered here.

Well written story full of action, danger and steamy romance

Both of the main characters in this story, Jet and Hanna, were rather unique and incredibly interesting. I love how their romance built, despite their desperate situation, and how both their talents came into play throughout. it was an engaging story, full of action, danger and a sizzling chemistry that lead to a great romance. I can't wait for the next story!

I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters and still manage to make romance feel so fresh!

The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting.
Add in a wee bit of drama and you have a good read.
