প্রিমরোসের শাপমোচন হল একটি সাহসী মেয়ের রুপকথা। প্রিমরোস এর মা একটা কঠিন রোগ এ মারা যায় । তার পর থেকে সে তার ভাই এবং তার বাবা মাইল অনেক কষ্টে দিন কাটাত। তার বাবা আর ভাই বাড়ির বাইরে ভারী কাজ করতো যেমন কাঠ কাটা এদিকে প্রিমরোস বাড়িতে বাকি কাজ সামলাতো। একদিন হঠাৎ তার বাবা অসুস্থ হয়ে পরে। সে জানতে পারে যে জঙ্গল এ কিছু বনজ লতা আছে যেগুলো তার বাবা কে সুস্থ করে দিতে পারে। তাই সে বেরিয়ে পরলো সেই লতার খোঁজে। সেই বনে তার দেখা হয় কিছু অদ্ভুত প্রাণীর সাথে। একটা খরগোশ তার সাথে কথা বলছিল। সে ভয় পেয়ে যায়। তারপরই সে দেখে যে সেই খরগোশটার মতোন আরও অনেক পশু মানুষের মতন কথা এবং ভাবতে পারে। তারা প্রিমরোস কে জানায় যে তার বাবার রোগ এর কারণ এবং তার মা এর মৃত্যু একটা জাদুকরী এর কারণ এ হয়েছে। তারা ওকে বলে যে তাদের সাহায্য করতে সেই জাদুকরী কে হারাতে। তাতে তার বাবা সুস্থ হয়ে যাবে এবং তার মা কে সে আবার ফিরে পাবে।
প্রিমরোস রাজি হয়ে যায় এবং শুরু হয়ে তার সাহসী গল্প। এর পরে কি হয় সেটা জানার জন্য এই বইটা পড়তে হবে। একটা দশ বছর বাচ্ছার লেখা এই সুন্দর গল্পটি সমস্ত বাচ্ছাদের পড়া উচিত। সজা ভাষায় লেখা এই বইটা। আমি সবাই কে বলবো যে আপনাদের চেনা পরিচিত যে কোনো ছোট বাচ্ছা কে এই বইটা আপনারা উপহার দিন। তার নিশ্চই খুবই ভালো লাগবে।

If you were a reader from very childhood then you must have read some beautiful fairy tales, in the lazy summer afternoons or may be before going to bed. This book right here is exactly that book.
Primrose's curse ,the original book is written by the Kiara Shankar and Vinay Shankar and I read the Bengali version of it, translated by Soumini Basu.
Our twelve years old protagonist, Primrose, after loosing her mother lives in a small Hut with her brother and father. Soon her father also becomes ill. To cure him, she decides to go into the forest on search for the herbs.
When she reaches there she discovers one thing! Animals can talk like us! They tell her that she's destined to destroy an evil power.
Kiara is a ten years old, and she has written this book! I couldn't expect more than this. Her imagination is so powerful that that even an adult (!) like me end up enjoying this book.
This book is one of those best books you should give to your children to build their reading habit.

This beautiful fairytale has been authored by a ten years old girl. wow...Pretty awesome, isnt it?? She has a vivid imagination, I must say.
At this age, instead of reading, she is creating... That's the most applaudable thing. It's a perfectly written fairytale, which starts with ‛once upon a time’ and ends with ‛happily ever after’. The story of the book is definitely good for children. We get to learn about love, care, friendship and bravery from this book.
My favorite character from this book was Hedwig, the Owl. He is pretty mature. He teaches us ‛how to stay calm in every situation’ and also ‛duty is more important than anything’.
The illustrations are very beautiful and the cover is very creative depecting the whole story with an apt title.
Overall, a fantastic read which will definitely make you ride into the old childhood days.

'প্রিমরোসের শাপমোচন' একটি দুঃসাহসী মেয়ে প্রিমরোসের দুষ্ট রাণী ইভলিনের থেকে পৃথিবীকে বাঁচানো এর কাহিনী। দারিদ্রতার সংসারে হঠাৎ ই পক্ষাঘাতে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়া বাবার চিকিৎসা করতে প্রিমরোসকে অনেক দূরে একটি ঘন জঙ্গলে যেতে হয়। সেখানে তার সাক্ষাৎ হয় কিছু মানুষের মতো কথা বলা জীবজন্তুর সাথে এবং সেখান থেকেই শুরু হয় তাদের পৃথিবীকে বাঁচানোর একটি রোমাঞ্চকর যাত্রা।গল্পটি একটি ছোট্ট লেখক কিয়ারা শঙ্কর এবং তার বাবা বিনয় শঙ্করের (সহ লেখক) লেখা রূপকথার গল্প। ছোট্ট বাচ্চাদের জন্য চমৎকার একটি গল্প। বেশি বড়ো না হওয়ার কারণে এবং সহজ ভাষায় লেখায় ছোটরা এবং বড়োরা অনায়াসে গল্পটি পড়তে পারে।

This is an amazing fairy tale which takes you to childhood world. Primrose is a little, innocent girl who lost her mother & lived with her father & brother.
She become so depressed after losing her mother but one day her father also became ill. She became desperate to save her father.She heard that a flower
could cure her father so she was determined to bring it. While trying to find that flower she met some animals of the magical land; who asked her help to free the land from a curse
of a evil queen. The story narrates the beautiful magical journey of Primrose & her thrilling adventures.
The author Kiara has written the story beautifully. Children will enjoy this book a lot!!

Good book for kids. A new age fairy tale of a small girl and her friends, a group of talking animals, who team up to take down an evil witch. The fact that it was written by a kid makes it even more suitable for kids. The translation is smooth and free flowing, and makes it an enjoyable read

The language was simple, very descriptive and the tool of imagination has been used to its fullest. I'd say this tale was therapy for me, with everything that's going on around.

Reading this story was a trip back to childhood and I realised so many things.
• Simple is always beautiful 💯
• There's no age for enjoying feel-good fairytales. There really is a child buried inside all of us who still firmly believes in the inevitable triumph of good over evil.
• I was hoping for a betrayal/mishap/twist at the start of every page and when none of it happened, I realised that things don't always have to be complicated. There are people out there who still value friendship, goodness is still rewarded and simplicity still exists.

The story was originally published in English and has been translated into multiple languages like Bengali, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Chinese, etc.
I think it's a must read, especially for adults , to get that magical touch of innocent childhood back in your life, even if temporarily.✨

Primrose is a little girl of 12 years . She lives in a village with her family. Her father works as a woodcutter, and she weaves wool and cotton for life . They are good people but very poor . Working hard once her father gets sick, and she starts a journey to find a flower whose honey can make it all well.

But this journey opens her up to a fantasy world where rabbits talk , animals do twistful things . She feels wonder but again intrigued by all the magical world she starts to solve the mystery in this adventurous world . It is a Bengali novel but I think English version is also available .

There are cute colorful illustrations in each chapter which truly made me feel good . If as an adult it made me feel happy this book will be a great one for kids too . More over it is a children book only that also puts over encouraging messages , inspiring kids to look forward to positivity and optimism in hard times . .

The main character of this story is primrose frenetic, a 12 years old lady. She lost her mother very early age and lived with father and brother in a town named MitraPur.As the earning of the family was not so well they have to left the town and started living near a dense forest. When her father suffers a stroke she goes out the forest for a magical flower. As she began her journey suddenly she met with the animals of "Jangalgar". First, she was surprised but after a while, they became her friend. And as the story goes she met with "Munchkins" and Mrs Walter.....
I've read this book in Bengali version. The transmission of the book is also very easy and simple. This can be a perfect bedtime story. I'll prefer this book for those who just started reading English literature.
It'll absolutely feel you Happy.
