After reading this I know that with the exception of Papua, there was no direct relationship between Christianization and (Dutch) colonization in Indonesia. A really important history book about Christianity.

Jan Aritonang et al write a very important book on the history of Indonesia, not only Christianity in Indonesia. Its a valuable documentation from the perspective of Christianity seeing Indonesia. Some of the writing is biased e.g view on Suharto especially after 1998, this book itself written in 2008. This book is a good reference to have a better understanding of the complex socio-cultural of Indonesia. The best part of this book is that this book is available for free.
