Alison Brownstone #9-15
Alison Brownstone Omnibus #2
Here's your chance to complete the series with the 2nd omnibus for Alison Brownstone!
A Brownstone Response
The Seventh Order has been taken out… Things seem calm. But Alison and her team know better. Trouble’s always coming for a Brownstone. Good thing she has an answer for them.
Brownstone Security’s reputation is spreading, which means more jobs for the growing team. But more money means more mayhem looking for them. Can the team dig deeper and pull out another win?
A Brownstone Solution
What could be harder for Alison than hunting magical beasties? Meeting Mason’s parents.
Now she knows what Mason felt like meeting her father. Well, that was James Brownstone, so… maybe not.
No time to ponder impressing the parents anyway – she has other issues to deal with.
And an unknown person has reached out to Tahir and Hana about Omni’s owner. Something smells a bit fishy about the whole situation – and it’s not Omni being a fish.
Keep Your Enemies Closer
Alison bloodied the Tapestry, but has she defeated them?
With her foes operating under the radar, Alison thinks she has time, but when the mysterious magic-enhancing drug Ultimate arrives in Seattle, she is faced with a shocking conspiracy that might reach from Las Vegas to Seattle. Sadistic wizards willing to experiment are flocking to town.
Rise Up
It’s hard to plan a wedding when the bad guys just won’t take a hint. Invite only…
Brownstone Security is hired for what should be a relatively simple job. Nothing about the job is as it seems and Alison ends up working with the FBI’s first witch on the case.
Dark Reunion
Sometimes even a Brownstone needs to get away from it all. Did the bad guys not get the memo? Alison Brownstone is on vacation. Do not disturb.
Oh they disturbed.
But when your mom is Shay Carson and she makes two requests of you, you take them seriously. 1. Go on a father-daughter bounty hunt. 2. Go on vacation. How can Alison say no? She can’t.
Two Brownstone’s on a bounty. That dude’s going down hard.
It’s not like Seattle will burn down because Alison isn’t there, right?
Drow Conqueror
Alison Brownstone is a Drow Princess with no ordinary powers. Time to remind a few people just what that means. Kick ass, don’t bother taking names.
Alison is in Mongolia to rescue Mr. D’s nephew, but things aren’t adding up. Are the other Drow trying to off Alison and her team to secure their succession?
Drow Triumphant
It’s the beginning of the end. The other Drow princess and queen just don’t know it… yet.
It’s business as usual for Brownstone Security. Drow threats or not, they still have work to do.
Agent Latherby requests Alison’s help on an off the books assignment that is more personal in nature.
It’s time to find a ghost ship and any survivors left from more than 100 years ago.
A ghost ship the Drow manage to show up at. This Drow succession fight is getting tiresome. Time to take the fight to them.
Alison has plenty of resources, including James Brownstone, to solve the problem for good. Is she willing to risk her family and friends to put the proper leadership on the Drow throne?

Good
I really enjoyed Allison's story. I will admit that her arrogance in the stories annoyed me, but the books were still good.

Great series just like the others!!!
I loved this series following Alison's years after the necessary school of magic. Haha is a great character as well as Mason Drisi Tahir Sophie and a very special administrator Ava. Each story is different and unique but there is still a back story that links every book together. I loved Mason's character he tried his best to keep Alison from working non stop and the enemies and monsters were all different as well as the introduction of the other Drow princesses. Omni is a great addition but you will have to discover his secret for yourself. I'm totally addicted to the series of books from this great team of writers from a small independent publishers and we as readers make such a big difference in keeping them writing more series for us fantasy fans and I am determined to made my way through their entire catalogue of series and even stand alone if there are any. I can't recommend them enough and I'm ready for the next series I've chosen and I will always give my honest opinion of all of the books I read by them. Well done and a huge thank you to Michael Anderle for making his dream come to fruition in some of the best fantasy books I've ever read.

(FYI I tend to only review one book per series, unless I want to change my scoring by 0.50 or more of a star. -- I tend not to read reviews until after I read a book, so I go in with an open mind.)
3.75*
First time read the author's work?: No
Will you be reading more?: Yes
Would you recommend?: Yes
------------
How I rate Stars: 5* = I loved (must read all I can find by the author)
4* = I really enjoyed (got to read all the series and try other books by the author).
3* = I enjoyed (I will continue to read the series)
or
3* = Good book just not my thing (I realised I don't like the genre or picked up a kids book to review in error.)
All of the above scores means I would recommend them!
-
2* = it was okay (I might give the next book in the series a try, to see if that was better IMHO.)
1* = Disliked
Note: adding these basic 'reviews' after finding out that some people see the stars differently than I do - hoping this clarifies how I feel about the book. :-)

A wonderful revisit of a favorite series, loved every page!
I have always been someone who has loved to re-read my favorite stories. I have spent the past few months reading all the Brownstone books a series that caught my imagination from day one. From soup to nuts I have read all of the books in this broad, wonderful fantasy. I have more to go, that makes me happy. What's next? More Martha, Mike, Sarah? The other Drow books? I'll just have to see what pops up next. Until then, Martha and Mike, please know how much your every effort is loved. Peace out, LMBPN RULES!

Fantastic to the end!
I scored this series, and the Rains Campbell series!! It's got magic, myth, mystery, fighting, friendship, and love. The characters and the scenes flow together, leaving the reader breathless with anticipation. The omnibus, and the first, are just reads for magic lovers everywhere. Bravo to the authors, and all those involved with bringing these books to market. Keep up the fantastic work.

Keep them coming
Wow I have just finished with this series after reading a lot of the others. I wish I could meet all of them but then again I feel like I already do. I get so frustrated with books and movies that either have no ending or you're left hanging . I've lost a lot of sleep trying to deal with those! I try to get everyone to read these special books by these special authors. Like potato chips you can't read just one. Thank you for sharing!

Refused to put my books down until they were finished
Not only are these series hard to put down, but I always want more. Glad there are so many I can keep reading for a long time.
I would love a chronological list of books in the Brownstone and Campbell series so I read them in order. But I'm sure I can find one somewhere if I try hard enough. Going to start a new Carr/Anderle series now!

Only Slightly Predictable Ending
If you like a shootem up, violent, magical fantasy that never stops with a heroine that can't be beat, everything Alison Brownstone is for you. She always puts protection of the innocent first and if she had been born on Krypton, you would say she was Superman's other first cousin.

Excellent adventure in reading.
Another great epic tale of intrigue, magic, alien political manipulation , hidden agencies within the US government who monitor aliens and magic, and an array of never ending threats to the world. I am amazed at the uniqueness of each book.I encourage you to try one. Bet you can't read just one.

I did not want it to end.
The series was funny, exciting, heart warming and just plain enjoyable. The authors were great together and wound a great story around the wonderful group of diverse characters.

Great Series
Wow, 15 books about Alison Brownstone as an adult is not enough. I have binged these in the last few weeks and loved every one. From making friends to defeating enemies, this series rocked.

Very good read through out
Fairly good writing. While the character development was overall good, it was the Princesses that made for the most interesting reading. Mush room left for a sequel.

Alison and team are fabulous
These stories are great
To me it was kind of obvious where everything was headed
However, as in life the journey is what makes stories exciting
Take the journey
Enjoy the paths
Great little side trips everywhere
Love it!
Want more!

I loved Alison and Brownstone security’s adventures. So many amazing characters. The authors do a fantastic job of pulling characters from other series together for a fantastic adventure. Don’t pass on this one.

Great bundle. Wonderful characters. Constant action with a fast paced plot. No graphic sexual content. I recommend it for all ages.

Stunning conclusion
This omnibus brings the saga of Alison Brownstone to a close. However the characters are so likeable that it will leave you wanting more.
