Vampires, werewolves, witches... and a young Stiletto ready to do anything to bring her sisters home.
With Joseph Brick out of the way, the most challenging thing on Scarlett’s plate is trying to balance her role as Stiletto with a love triangle that risks tearing the Wildwood pack apart.
Then Sienna returns, pulling Scarlett back into a high-stakes game of cat and mouse that threatens the safety of the coven's most vulnerable members. When a devastating loss rocks the Daggers, Scarlett must assume leadership or die in the attempt.
Will she emerge victorious from a battle likes of which the Glimmering world has never seen, or will Sienna destroy everything the Daggers stand for?
Perfect for fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Stiletto is a thrilling, fast-paced adventure featuring a fierce heroine and a coven of powerful women who won’t let anything stand between them and the people they love.
This conclusion of "The Crimson Daggers"-trilogy did not dissapoint!
The events that take place in this final book is forcing Scarlett to take charge and put the safety of her Dagger-sisters before her own, often impulsive, choices - and she pulls it off beautifully! After a little slow start there's hardly a moment of rest, neither for Scarlett, nor the reader, and the last chapters are really exciting.
If I may complain about something it's the "usual" love triangle drama. I don't like it when Scarlett is looked on as some kind of prize, but since she voices that herself I can go with it. Now I feel a bit sad that I won't get to see the characters again...
I received an ARC from the author and I'm greatful to Emma Savant for showing me the Glimmering World!
Gripping from the first chapter to the last, the third instalment is definitely the best! Non stop action and heart, little red riding hood at her adult and independent best self!
Great end to the Crimson Daggers trilogy. There is tension and danger and it seems the pressure of being future Stiletto, working for her grandmother's fashion house, and coping with the attention of two men is more than Scarlett wants to cope with.
Then Sienna strikes again. Children have been kidnapped. Scarlett's mum and grandmother are missing and are possibly murdered. It's now up to Scarlett to lead the daggers and stop Sienna once and for all.
Throughout the three stories Emma Savant has shown Scarlett's growth in power and confidence. She doesn't get things right immediately. She still needs the guidance of those that have more experience. It's what makes this character a real person.
I loved how Emma Savant used the Big Bad Wolf fairy tales (Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs, and The Wolf and the Seven Kids) in this trilogy and fitted them into her Glimmering World.
I got this book as an ARC but hadn't gotten round to write a review. The fact that I received this book as an ARC did not influence my opinion or this review.
This is the final novel in the Crimson Dagger Trilogy. Scarlett showed the most growth in this book. You really got to see her shine and see what she's truly capable of. Finally we have more than a hint of romance even if it's a sort of love triangle style. Both boys are fun and great but I definitely had a favorite. This plot was more heart wrenching than either of the previous books. It was a good ending to the build up of the complete story. My only con against the book was that even though we got a satisfactory ending, it didn't feel like the end. Still a bunch of story left. So hopefully this won't be the last time we see Scarlett.
It was a good ride, from the first to the final book. I appreciated the specks of romance we had in this one, since in Sabre we didn't get that much, and I feel the action scenes were more effective and gripping. At least the love triangle was not stretched out too much.
Scarlett's future role as Stiletto made her undertake a slight development in her thinking process and actions. She learnt to be more cautious and to accept help from others, especially those around her. And I really appreciate it.
Wow this is a fantastic series. This grabbed me from the first page until the last. Its a real page turner that has you on the edge of your seat. Plus I love the Supernatural aspects of it as Well. The Author really does a fantastic job at bringing the Characters out as well as the world building. This is definitely a must read. If your a lover of Werewolves and Vampire reads this is definitely a must read. Shauna Joesten
I enjoyed reading Stiletto, book #3 in a Crimson Daggers Novel. An explosive ending to this trilogy. Scarlet was amazing and I loved the fun flirtation between Brendan, Alec and Scarlet. A lot of action that leads to an unbelievable outcome. I enjoyed the Vampires and Rowan's part in this story. A great series for YA/Paranormal readers.
I give Stiletto 4 stars for its exciting read. I would recommend this book to YA/Paranormal Fans.
This was a great addition to this series! The werewolves and witches are allies now but they have a new enemy - vampires! The action kept at a high pace, yet had just enough points in between to let you catch your breath. I highly recommend this book and the whole series!
