“I’ll take your dare.”
“Kiss me.”

I don’t believe in Prince Charming, but when I met a handsome stranger on a rooftop his words intrigued me and his dares left nothing but temptation.

With every push, Bryce pulls me in further. Our pasts are laced with betrayal. Our futures are unpredictable. Our chemistry is explosive.

With each dare I uncover a truth, but he's exactly what I don’t need right now.

When I was little, my mom was part of the Double Day book club. She had piles and piles of books lying around the house; most of them with Fabio-esque men and a scantily clad woman set in a different century. I made up stories in my head just from looking at the covers.

When I as 9, I wrote stories using my best friend as a muse. They were romances...but for the 9-year-old. She was the only one who read them.

When I was 14, another friend gave me a Marian Keyes novel. I fell in-love with her wit, and humor with a dark side. This was my first experience with realistic fiction.

When I was 19, Nicholas Sparks forever changed my views on relationships. I learned what true love could be beautiful and difficult at the same time. I wanted it.

When I was 22, Jeannette Wells made me feel more emotion from an autobiographical novel than I thought possible. I wanted to be her.

When I was 30, Jamie McGuire and Colleen Hoover introduced me to the world of self-publishing. For the first time I thought: I could give this a try someday.

When I was 32, my someday came.

"Perhaps the heart can’t understand true love unless it’s been broken."

Lauren Runow & Jeannine Colette have once again come up with lovable characters and a story that will hit you right in the feels.

After reading and loving Austin, I knew I would read whatever this duo writes—so to read Bryce was a no-brainer. Was it what I expected? No, it was so much more. Bryce was a total swoon fest full of love and family! An emotional, fun, sexy and charming romance in which a man who believes to have a heart of stone falls in love when he least expects it—a story that left me with a heart bursting with happiness and a huge grin on my face.

In this book, the family drama continues, Missy is still the bitch we met in the first book, and the Sexton brothers are still the united force against her. I can't wait to see how everything is going to unfold in the next book.

Bryce might belong to Tessa, but I’m claiming his sextillion. Every woman deserves a Bryce in her life!

Move over Austin, Bryce is in the house, and he has claimed my heart ♥. So Tanner, what are you going to do about it?

Looking for your next book boyfriend?! Sorry, this one’s already taken. =P

Well, damn! That’s how you court a woman! Show her some love and compliment her. You don’t have to be flawless or rich but have her best interest at heart. Give her your love, attention and time. That’s invaluable and Bryce did it all right.
‘He knew things about me just by paying attention.’

I loved it! Tessa was no fool and surely able to save herself. She was a strong woman and didn’t need a hero but superman was just so damn irresistible.
Tessa and Bryce met accidentally when their emotions were in a whirlwind and they actually wanted to be alone for a moment to gather their thoughts. What they didn't count on was that they would meet someone to set off another range of emotions inside the other, but Tessa’s heart belonged to only one man. Charlie, her son, meant the world to her but he’s only part of the reason why she didn’t date. When a charming man with stalking tendencies appeared in her life, she was torn between how good he made her feel and keeping herself safe from yet another heartbreak.
‘For a moment, I let my guard down, and of course, he swooped in with his charm and wit.’

I was very intrigued by Bryce in Austin's story and had a feeling that he would be a great hero. Boy was I right.
Bryce Sexton was one of a kind. I loved how determined, straightforward and stubborn yet still attentive and thoughtful he went after what he wanted, even when he treaded in uncharted territory.

‘It’s interesting how someone who can seem so put together, who appears to have it all, can be so tied up on the inside.’

This book was full of fantastic characters, wonderful moments and emotional ups and downs due to the ongoing family drama.
I absolutely loved how Bryce and Tessa met. It was somewhat magical and fun to have them playing truth or dare. Add in Charlie and the story had the full package.

Bryce wasn’t a know-it-all person but he was all-consuming, confident, smart, very clever and handsome. He was a workaholic though he never shied away from obstacles in life but took them in great strides. I liked how he reacted in situations that were new to him and how he handled them all so well even though they took him by surprise at times. He really was determined to battle all problems; I gotta leave him that, but I guess he was used to stressful situations from his job.
He really had great moments and I loved how he expressed his feelings. He never had to work hard to get a woman’s attention before so he didn’t always do it right but he damn well tried very hard and I adored him so much. He was not only a good listener but he remembered what she told him and really payed attention to her. The way to a lady’s heart.
‘”Treat your woman as if she is the breath you’ll take when you have run out of your own.”’

Bryce was the man we all had been waiting for. Superman aka Bryce Sexton with his sextillion. HAHAHAHA I can’t help but think about him sitting at home in his sweatpants wearing his sexy black framed glasses. And I obviously can’t stop talking about him. He always knew the right things to say and really had a way with words that made me wish for a man too who said all those wonderful things to me. Bryce really went above and beyond for Tessa and took a lot of time out of his busy life for her. (I may be more in love with him than the story. Oops.)
‘”A man will do anything, even create the greatest sin for all mankind, to impress a beautiful woman.”’

Tessa seemed to be a careful person, having learned her lessons in life but even though she was self-conscious in some way, she was still confident in her abilities. Tessa had Bryce really working for it and he didn’t took it as a challenge but really wanted to get to know her and was set in his ways to show her that he wasn’t like all the other men. Especially since any other man would have let her go already but Bryce fought so hard for her where most wouldn’t have bothered for so long with all the hassle. He never undermined but encouraged her and he was really smitten with Tessa which made him show some of his soft side when he acted all nervous like a teenage boy with his first love.
‘Damn you, Bryce Sexton, and your words.’

Austin was obviously also part of this book and even showed his authoritative side once and I have to say that it was such a turn on to see him like that. I wish there was more of this in his story.
Charlie was a great boy. He was so smart, funny and well-behaved. I also liked Abby, Tessa’s friend and neighbor. She was often the needed push in the right direction for Tessa. And then there was the Sexton family, still fighting each other and rattled to their core because of Missy. I am intrigued by the hints in this story which will hopefully have a good outcome in the next book.

What I absolutely did not see coming was the ending. Way to go Tanner. Bring it on.

“Perhaps the heart can’t understand true love unless it’s been broken.”

First, let’s state the obvious, Bryce is MINE. I saw (read, lol) him first and I get to keep him! It even says so in the first page (thanks guys!).

It’s no secret I love these two authors. I love their books and their stories and I just plain love them. They are both so talented, and definitely underrated. The world needs more Jeannine and Lauren. This series collaboration is definitely one of my favorites, the Sexton Brothers are all similar, yet different and they are definitely hot, swoony and refreshing reads. Not to mention the writing is so seamless between Jeannine and Lauren, they just blend together in the most wonderful way.

So, let’s talk Bryce. Ever since I read Austin (if you haven’t, pick it up!), I was obsessed with Bryce. I was instantly drawn to the older, broody and secretive brother and his “mysterious girl” and I was dying to know more about him. Needless to say, his story did not disappoint one bit. It was just perfect.

“When was the last time you felt you were at the right place, at the right time, with the right person?”

“Right now,” she breathes.

“Me, too.”

I love Bryce, he is beautiful, smart, swoony and has a heart like no other. I also love that he is extremely vulnerable and loving through and through. Have I mentioned he’s mine? I also love Tessa, she’s strong and feisty and such an awesome girl. I also love Charlie! And definitely loved all the appearances by Austin and Jalynn.  These characters are so awesome and so well developed. As far as the story goes, everything is so well written and on point. This story develops in parallel with Austin, and the authors did an amazing job with that. Loved the pacing and the slow burn, especially considering the storyline. I also loved that there was no unnecessary drama and that the characters were able to resolve their differences like the adults they are.  Throughout the story I got some serious feels. And the sexy times are hot, hot, hot!

“If you’d just trust me, you’d let yourself fall for me. I have never done anything like this before. I’ve never felt like this for anyone before. Yes, I’ve had relationships, but this—you—are different. I’ll say it every day for the rest of our lives if I have to. I want you. Only you.”

I absolutely recommend this one. If you’re looking for a sweet, swoony, hot and fast read, this is definitely your book. You will love Bryce.  And I can’t wait to find out what Tanner’s story will bring us. I need Tanner now!

**Original Review 9-2018**
Here’s the deal, Bryce is MINE! All MINE! No matter what anyone says he’s mine, I saw him first and I get to keep him.

All jokes aside, I just read the first draft of Bryce and is absolutely fantastic. Trust me, you’ll love it. It gave me all the feels. Bryce is extremely swoony and Tessa is a sweetheart. Can’t wait for everyone to read this one ❤️

I have tried to get into this one for a couple of days, but I am going to have to call it a day. I was told there was only going to be a little "drama" caused by the assistant that tried to seduce the hero at the beginning of the book, but that in no way was it a huge part of the book. Ummm, I beg to differ. She is literally in the ENTIRE book, causes major issues, and on top of that, the heroine knows her! I have been actively trying to avoid pointless OW drama in my books lately and had I known the extent of it in this book I would have passed.

That said, this is entirely a "ME" issue and in no way reflects the quality of the writing, or the book itself. So bear that in mind when making your own decision to read this one or not. Peace out...

I thought I was going to like this book more than the first one but I didn't. It was just as mediocre as the first one.

2,5 stars

First of all, I didn't like Bryce that much. He is not as good a hero as Austin. Austin was stable and trust-worthy. He did nothing wrong to the woman he wanted. Bryce, on the other hand, appears to be this great man who goes after the woman he wants and when she resists, he does some great gestures and finally makes her say yes after a long struggle, but then, at the first crisis, he utters the words,"I don't think I will be able to do this." What a jerk!

***

Tessa is a single mum and she is hesitant for a long while to let a man into their world but he is relentless and she gives in. As soon as he earns her trust, he makes a huge mistake! It happens during their first "coming together". They are on holiday and on day 3, he comes face-to-face with a family and work-related crisis and he scares away, thinking he has no time for a serious relationship. Well, then he regrets what he has done and comes back to apologize (though in a weird way but whatever!).

As I said, I still think, "What a jerk!"

***

The most annoying thing about this book is the REPETITION!

Some dialogues are directly copy-paste from Book 1. I had to reread so many things.

I know there are readers who have chosen to read this book as a stand-alone and the repetition is for them to understand the family dynamics etc. but so many dialogues just the same???!!! That was disrespectful to the readers who chose to read the complete series! This makes me so reluctant to go read Book 3, now...

Entertaining, Bryce is truly the epitome of the perfect book boyfriend. I’m pleasantly surprised by this character!

Unfortunately the plot was boring and predictable. It’s the famous trope “billionaire meets girl next door” except that she’s a single mother.

I think this book deserves a 3 stars rating because it was sweet and entertaining overall but sadly there was no chemistry between the main characters and the OW drama was unnecessary and distasteful. Same goes for the pacing which was slow in the beginning and a bit too fast toward the end regarding their relationship.

Bryce and Charlie’s relationship was the highlight of this book but for all of these reasons, I’ll not pick the following books involving Bryce’s brothers.

Nor bad nor good. Bryce the hero, is truly an amazing character though.

And I’m sorry but this last name “Sexton” is so ridiculous, why would they be called that way? It’s not flattering at all!

Bryce is the second book in the Sexton Brothers series.

I really enjoyed the base story-line of Bryce by Jeannie Colette and Lauren Runnow, and I really did like Bryce (at times less so) I liked Tessa even more so.

I just felt that the drama was really overdone and that the book could have been an easier more enjoyable read if they had reeled that in a bit.

With some chuckle worthy moments and plenty of romance, this was a likeable story that I would have rated higher if it hadn’t been for the drama. It felt to me, like it overwhelmed and took the reading pleasure away from the story for me.

Drama is what will stick in my mind if I recall this story in the future. This is such a pity because this had so much more potential and that let it down.

Thank you to Wordsmith Publishing for gifting me a review copy of Bryce. The gifting of this book did not influence this review.

"The way she's looking at me lets me know she's surrendering. Not just to me. To something greater than the two of us."

In Austin's book, Bryce was the mysterious, cold and broody business guy you couldn't quite catch. But in his own book, his own story he pretty quickly became such an incredible easily lovable man . It's like through his whole story he's wearing his heart on his sleeve. You can't help to simply fall for him.
Whereas Austin's book was quite thrilling and full of suspense and fast cars, Bryce's story is totally different. It's far away from the car racing scene and more in a world of business and love for a woman he has to convince taking a chance on him. Entering a world he never expected to but owned it at the end.

"Treat a woman as if she's the breath you'll take when you have run out of your own."

Bryce was early forced in the leading role of his family and his mother's business legacy. And he takes it pretty seriously. That made him seem hard and cold on the outside. But he only works so hard for the people and things he loves and cares for. Maybe he took it a little too serious, because he simply forgot how to live his own life. How to love and be loved. Until he met Tessa. Tessa is beautiful inside out. She's pretty incredible and it's so easy to see why Bryce fell for her. She makes him work for her because she has to be responsible, to take care of her heart. They have a fantastic chemistry. They balance and complement each other like they are each others missing puzzle piece.

"I want Bryce. I want him to take me, to show me what it's like to be loved by a man. A real man. A man who knows the truth in a world full of dares."

It was so easy to follow their story, to see the whys behind each decision they took. It was easy to fall for both as they fell for each other. It was easy to turn page after page until I hit the last one.

Bryce is a fantastic slow burn romance in the Sexton Brothers Series. If you fell in love with Austin, I promise you, you will totally fall in love with Bryce.

"Because, when I'm with you, that pain I carry with me every day ... it disappears."

This one just wasn’t for me. It was about tycoon Bryce falls for beautician Tessa. He pretty much stalks her until she agrees to coffee. No harm, but if a guy sat outside my work for over an hour, watching and waiting, I’d call the cops on his ass!! 😂
I suppose it was different in that it wasn’t the girl chasing the sought after bachelor, but I just felt this story has been done before. There wasn’t anything new for me.

I had a feeling Bryce would be my favorite of the Sexton brothers. But, I really loved Austin and maybe Bryce was a little too intense for me and a little wishy-washy too. I think because Austin was a little broken and cool as shit, he won me over.

Anyway, this storyline pretty much runs parallel with Austin's so thankfully I read them in order! Although, this made it so I was anticipating things which happened in Austin's book.

I loved how Bryce met Tessa, and Tessa was just the right woman for him!

I'm moving on to Tanner, who is the youngest brother, in college, and artistic.....not my usual book boyfriend, but who knows?

Jeannine, did I see somewhere that these characters were based on your husband and others in your family??? So, who is based on?? Just curious!!!

Bryce Sexton is the workaholic, the demanding one, the brother with no real personal life. As the oldest Sexton sibling the media empire his mother created has been in his hands since she passed, but with his father and stepmother threatening to throw it all away he's working harder and demanding more of everyone. He's working to keep her legacy alive, but he needs his brothers to help him do it. When sassy, beautiful Tessa catches his eye he finds himself obsessing, she presents him with the rare opportunity to forget about work, even if just for a moment. Tessa makes Bryce open his eyes, she makes him want to live a little, she makes him believe there's a chance he can have more than work in his life. But the Sexton brothers' dad no longer believes in the business and he allows his wife to jeopardize his son's relationship and future.

Bryce is book two in the Sexton Brothers series and while it is a standalone I do personalty recommend that you read Austin first. The novels begin at the same point in time, but Bryce is the opposite of Austin in every way. I liked Austin, but I knew I would love Bryce. He's as handsome in a suit as he is in casual clothes and he's a workaholic, but with a heart of gold. Tessa just flips a switch in him, she makes him want things he used to once want, reminding himself of what he dreamed of and who he really is when not behind a desk. She brings out this side of him that is relaxed, relatable, and very attractive. Tessa, unlike Bryce, is quite a bit more relaxed in her life. She has to have a personal life, she has a child, but she does everything in her life for him. Bryce is the first guy to make her want to make room for something more and he does it in a demanding, but not overbearing way. They click and it's incredibly sweet to see their lives fit together despite how different they are. In this book the one you expect to be afraid of feelings is the one who embraces them, Bryce swoops the girl off her feet and learns along the way that being a workaholic is not all it's cracked up to be.

Bryce is a sweet, sexy romance with just a hint of the suspense that Austin had and quite a bit more OW drama. It's entertaining, a fairly fast read, and not as business-oriented as I thought it was going to be based on my first impressions of the hero. It's a story about family, friends, and love, and learning to prioritize happiness over wealth and legacies. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to meet the third Sexton brother.

Every once in awhile you get a book series that you just can't wait to read. This is one of those for me. I loved Austin but even in his book I was pulled to Bryce.

Here I get Bryce and he is even better than I thought he would be. Of course it wouldn't be one of the million socialites who fall over him nor is it one of the assistants that have tried or succeeded in bedding the boss. Nope Bryce decides to go for the ever sassy Tessa.

“Tessa,” she says, and I can hear the smile she’s trying to hide. “You could have warned me.” I suspiciously eye her through the mirror as I wipe more of it off, which only seems to be smudging it more. Is this from the mascara? Jesus, women have to do a lot to remove this shit.

This was one of the best scenes I have read in awhile that actually had me laughing out loud. I loved seeing Jalynn and how much she was actually helping Bryce get the girl.

Bryce has many romantic moments and knows what to say and when to say it HOWEVER like most men he tends to mess things up. However after finding a special note, he realizes

"I’ve found the right woman to place on a pedestal, yet I let her topple to the ground. Mostly because I was too afraid to love her with my whole heart."

Also be aware,,,,kids always say the darnedest things and always spill those things you didn't want them to hear. These make for some funny moments in the book.

Finally after only seeing bits of pieces of Tanner here and there, he arrives in grand fashion as the end of Bryce and I can't wait to see what is in store for him because Missy is still trying to bring the Sextons down and she will either succeed or fail with Tanner.

5 "Truth or Dare" Stars

I have lived. I am living. Jeannine and Lauren have made my little heart happy! I knew I would love Bryce, but I didn't know that I'd love him this much. OH MY GOSH he surprised me in the most AH-MAZ-ING way. Ugh, he was everything and then some.

When I read Austin, I fell so hard for the middle Sexton brother. I didn't think he'd be replaced. But when his brooding and older brother, Bryce was introduced I found myself intrigued by this mysterious ways. Did I think he'd take Austin's place as my number? Hell-to-the-no. But he wormed his way into my heart and pushed Austin down a step and I'm not one bit mad about it.

Bryce Sexton had me at considerate, caring, and protective. There's more to him than just working nonstop. Once upon a time he had his eyes set on a different future, but he would do anything for family and that's why his future took a different path. But now countless hours spent at the office and nobody to come home to is starting to take its toll. But now, with a chance encounter with a woman has stirred feelings in Bryce that has him starting to rethink his workaholic mentality.

Tessa is just what Bryce needs. She makes him work for her because she needs to know that he's the real deal. She's very protective of her heart. But once Bryce starts tearing down her walls Tessa begins to let go. They both learn from each other. They were so good together, and I couldn't get enough. I loved these two to pieces.

I can't wait to learn more about Tanner, the younger Sexton brother. I'm so giddy after that revelation at the end of this book. One thing's for sure, I can't get enough of these Sexton brothers.

Whew, and I thought I loved Austin (book 1 of the Sexton Brothers). I’m not even sure I can post a review without spoilers which usually I have no problem doing, Bryce what did you do to me LOL. This is so a 5 star, the type of 5 star you will stay up until 3am reading! I not only fell in love with Bryce & Tessa’s relationship but also with Bryce & Charlie’s relationship! As a mom to boys, this book hit me right in the mommy heart! I’m not saying anymore just read Austin, then Bryce, and hold on to your patience for Tanner to come out in January!

4.5 Superman Stars!!

The first book was good but I really liked this one!!!!! These books are slow burns and maybe not huge on the sexy times but the storyline is very interesting and I loved this couples dynamic along with the child.

These brothers are trying to keep their mother’s legacy alive by running the company she started but their stepmother is trying her damnedest to sell it off. Bryce is by far the most dedicated and the hardest worker and doesn’t have time for anything else UNTIL Tessa.

Tessa is a single mother struggling to do it all on her own but she is also a very determined person. She is the mother of a 5 year old son named Charlie and the daughter of one of the most well known feminists in the country.

I really loved this love story. It was believable and engaging the entire time. I love Bryce!!!

Book two in the Sexton brother's series by co-authors Lauren Runow and Jeannine Colette features oldest brother Bryce Sexton.

The first thing I have to say about this book is that it is a must read. Especially for those who read and enjoyed Austin. Bryce cannot be missed. He was so much more than I expected him to be. He definitely was controlling and a workaholic. But he was also so loyal to his family and those he cared about. Plus, how do you not love a guy who's trying to keep his mother's legacy alive and is even willing to go up against his father to do it. I absolutely loved him and Tessa.

I just loved Tessa. Her life is far from easy and you can clearly see she is trying and working hard to make the best life possible for her and the little man in her life. I loved the way the relationship between Bryce and Tessa developed. It made it fun for me as a reader to watch their truth or dare game allow them to learn about each other and push each others boundaries.

This was just a really well written book. I finished it with a feeling of having just read something really fantastic. But then again, I had that feeling through out the whole book.

Yes I sat down and devoured Bryce in an afternoon. This has been a highly anticipated read. I was SO in love with Austin’s book, book one of the Sexton Brothers. Bryce and Tessa have a beautiful, emotional, and definitely sexy story to tell. Plan for some swoon worthy moments. Words that resonates: “Treat a woman as if she is the breath you will take when you run out of your own.” (Sign) When you add family drama and unanswered questions, the intrigue only increases. Ugh of course you will fall in love with Tessa’s little boy, Charlie, who only ups the adorableness. During my read, I was either experiencing tugs on my heartstrings or palpitations trying to figure out what the nemesis was up too (eek). That is all I am saying on that subject. Ugh these authors EXCEL at ending with a BIG tease (yikes). Yeah I can’t wait for Tanner’s story. Happy Reading!

Book 2 in the Sexton Brothers series and it was a well awaited one on my part.
Bryce got my attention loud and clear from Austin’s book and I couldn’t shake that longing feeling off and just wanted more and more of him.
They say that good things are worth waiting for and Bryce sure was one of those.
The man has it all quite literally if you ask me.

I fell in for him and I fell hard.
Tessa is such a sweet woman and a loving mother to her little baby boy.
The way she is putting him and others before her own needs is admirable.
She and Bryce make a wonderful pair.
Two people who were incomplete in different ways without knowing it and that's why their union makes them a match made in heaven and has my heart beem.

It was a pure joy for me to read this book even if I could predict some parts of it.
The story of Bryce & Tessa is a sweet love story everyone can fall in love with.
The only reason why it got 4 stars is that the pace was a bit too slow for my liking.

If you thought Austin Sexton was the only Sexton brother you’d ever need to read about, just wait until you read Bryce’s story. He’s definitely everything you’d ever want in a book boyfriend.

When Tessa accidentally runs into the mega successful hottie , Bryce, she’s sure he’s just another spoiled rich kid, only after one thing. But Tessa doesn’t need a man in her life, that spots already taken with her five year old son Charlie.

Day by day, Bryce soon wins Tessa’s trust........and her heart.

Where Austin was dark and mysterious, Bryce is all alpha male. He will make you swoon with his romantic ways.

Oh, and girls, I promise you you’re partners will love you for reading this book 😉😉

Book 2 and this series just got a hell of a lot better.

I honestly didn't like Bryce at all in the first book. His attitude towards Austin was downright condescending and I hated him for it. But after finishing this book I can say I couldn't have been more wrong about him. I kinda felt bad for my dislike when we got to read what his plans were while his mother was still alive. I loved how his love for Tessa and her son made him want to change his life for the better. And I loved Tessa that despite having problems letting him into her world she just couldn't turn him away.

I can't wait to meet the last brother and to see the wicked witch aka stepmother Missy be taken down once and for all.

Truth or Dare?

Truth- I didn’t think I could love these Sexton men more then I already have and yet here we are, Bryce is a man that will have you swooning and falling for hard and fast. Tessa is a single mom that has just enough room for Charlie in her heart until a Sexton man nuzzles his way in. The connection is instantaneous but what had me grinning ear to ear is their conversations, I want those. We see the hard working and committed man Bryce is to his company and then we get to see a whole other side slowly blossom with the gestures he does that are totally not the norm of this man but he’s showing that there is this side of him within. There’s a scene that I swear I was holding my breath and my eyes couldn’t read fast enough. These men are all standalone books and reading them in any order will not leave you confused in the least BUT I will say that you should read both Austin and Bryce because you will adore this family. I’m dying to hear what Tanner is all about next. Well done Lauren Runow and Jeannie Colette, you ladies have blown me away once again. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Bryce and Tessa, and Charly her son.
This is a slow paced romance with a single mother and a handsome millionaire. They meet and are attracted to each other, but circumstances keep her wary of a relationship with him. It’s a cute and fun read and I liked it.

I was given an advanced readers copy of this book and have decided to leave a voluntary honest review. So in Austin book I wasn't to fond of Bryce, because of the way you use ride Austin all the time. As you can probably tell Austin is my favourite. Anyways now that I know why Bryce is the way he is. I understand him a lot better. The man has so much deal with he is basically married to his job. So when he meets Tessa it's such nice change to see him change his ways a bit. Tessa is a very good mom, I completely get her wanting to protect her son. But on the other hand you don't want live with what ifs or regrets life is short. I really enjoyed Bryce book. And loved getting glimpses of Austin and Tanner. Now I can't wait to meet the last sexton brother!!

“Truth or dare?”
“I’ll take your dare.”
“Kiss me.”
I don’t believe in Prince Charming, but when I met a handsome stranger on a rooftop his words intrigued me and his dares left nothing but temptation.
Then I learned the truth.
His name is Bryce Sexton. Media mogul, workaholic and a heart of stone. He’s broody AF and yet every woman in San Francisco wants him.
So why won’t he leave me alone?
Wherever I go, he’s there, trying to force his way into my world. What he doesn’t know is I already have a man in my life. A tiny redhead who loves Legos and Superheroes.
With every push, Bryce pulls me in further. Our pasts are laced with betrayal. Our futures are unpredictable. Our chemistry is explosive.
With each dare I uncover a truth, but he's exactly what I don’t need right now.
So why did I have to go and kiss him?

I haven't been able to get into anything lately and decided I needed some good ole dreamy, steamy romance. Bryce fit the bill perfectly and I was swept up in the push of Bryce's swoon-worthy determination and the pull of Tessa's reluctance. I started with book two because I already owned it, and I can say with certainty, it isn't necessary to read the series in order. I can also say with certainty, I will be going back to read Austin's story soon.
