The world of Internet-based information is all around us that we take in "news" and "information" that influences our thinking and perception of things, but a lot of what we take in these days has been made up, Photoshopped, or simply one person’s opinion or perspective that is wrongly accepted as being completely factual. At one point in time, people used to call this information rumors or “one person’s opinion,” but more recently, a handful of corroborated Internet posts or a single post from an Hollywood celebrity and all of a sudden Internet lore somehow becomes perceived fact and reality. How does one separate tales vs reality? This book will highlight ways to reshape our filters and ways of thinking, so we remove ourselves from the stream of disinformation, and not be fooled into making real decisions based on inaccurate (and many times grossly inaccurate) information.
