About the author

I attack stories and storytelling from a variety of perspectives. I write both fiction and non-fiction books as well a screenplays. I have written or co-written more than two dozen produced film and television projects which have won a number of national, international and festival awards. I have taught screenwriting for a long time at USC where I am a tenured full professor in the School of Cinematic Arts and have published two books on the art and craft of screenwriting. When I'm not working on my own stories, I'm helping my students and a variety of professionals finesse their projects.

فكرة الترجمة حلوة جدا عشان لو مش عارف معنى كلمة معينة ولو إن اللغة بتاعتها سهلة وبسيطة جدا.
في غلطات إملائية او مطبعية كثيرة للأسف ولو حاولت تقرأ العربي فقط هيبقى صعب الفهم فالأحسن تقرأ الانجليش فقط ولو في كلمة معرفتهاش تقدر تشوفها في الصفحة المترجمة.
أما بخصوص الرواية نفسها فهي عبارة عن مجموعة من ألغاز شيرلوك هولمز مش كلها حلوة في حاجات كتير حبكتها ضعيفة وغير مشوقة وفي ألغاز كويسة.
اتفاجئت من شخصية شيرلوك هولمز في القصص لأنها غير اللي دائما بيتم تقديمها في الأفلام والمسلسلات اته شخصية متعجرفة شوية من شدة ذكائه ولكن على العكس كانت في القصص المقدمة.
ملقتش اهتمام بالتفاصيل من تحليل شيرلوك هولمز لكل حاجة حواليه ومش عارفة اذا كان العيب في القصص نفسها ولا النسخة دي متشال منها حاجات مثلا؟!
في المجمل الكتاب كويس لأي حد عاوز يبتدي يقرأ بالإنجليش ويفهم كويس من غير مكل شوية يبص فط القاموس وفي نفس الوقت يتشد ويندمج مع الأحداث وميملش بسرعة.
