Ky thought she was killing the bad guys. Turns out, she was the bad guy.

Ky’s on the run from Skywatchers, the organisation she’d followed blindly since the aliens invaded and her brother disappeared. Reece, one of the aliens she’d been trained to hunt, is the only person left she can trust.

Struggling to reconcile the hunter who’d murdered too many aliens to count with the girl who’d fallen for Reece, an alien who’d revealed the truth about their visit to Earth, Ky battles with the guilt of her past as she and Reece make their way to her brother and the aliens he’s saved.

Just when her brother’s within reach, Skywatchers rips the chance of being reunited with him away.

Can her brother forgive the horrific things she’s done?
Or will Skywatchers convince her to re-join their organisation?

Most excellent conclusion to this Alien Fantasy story. “ They walk among us” has a whole new meaning now . No spoilers from me but it follows from book one seamlessly and you get to share Ky’s adventure at finally finding out “ The Truth”.
Lots of action and twists in the plot to keep it interesting .
Although I have to say I was holding my breath to see when it’s was all going to go “ tits up” , if you will pardon the expression. I was waiting for the moment of betrayal and I correctly guessed the culprit. But you’ll just have to read it to find out.
All I will say is the old adage “ if it sounds to good to be true, it is too good to be true “.

In conclusion, this was a most excellent story which I thoroughly recommend.

Holy alien - I mean Solian - babies, this book was good! It picks up right where the first book leaves off and keeps you guessing until the very end!
Ky experiences quite a few challenges on her quest to escape Skywatchers and find her brother, and although there’s some pain and heartache along the way, she’s so strong and determined there was never any doubt she’d eventually make it to him. It’s just a question of whether she’ll be able to forgive herself for her past or if her guilt will hold her back from being with the people she loves.
I have to say, although it may not have been the ending I was expecting, I was pretty happy with how it left off!

After reading this book, I wanted to write and post this review to share my honest experiences toward the story.
An amazing continuation to the Skywatchers series.
I can’t begin to describe how much I enjoyed reading this book. It was an enthralling, captivating sci-fi read that keeps you hooked until the very last page. Every page is an incredible journey, the plot is so thick and captivating, along with a cast of amazing, diverse characters. There were a few plot twists I wasn’t expecting, which made the ride much more enjoyable. After reading both books in this series, I think I found a new favourite author to read. I would definitely recommend reading this, you will not regret it!

After years on killing aliens, firm in the belief she’s destroying the enemy, to her horror, Ky’s discovered she’s been targeting the wrong race. As the lies and deceit unravel around her, she finds the only person she can trust is Reece, an alien she’s been trained to hunt. It’s hard to believe the most insane thing that’s happened is learning her brother is alive and has been on the side of the aliens all this time. Determined to reach him, Ky and Reece travel across country in search of the alien’s secret base battling not only the alien hunters she left behind, but her own emotions. Is she crazy to trust Reece? Is she doing the right thing? And when they find her brother, can he ever forgive her for what she’s done?

This is a fabulous conclusion to the author’s first book, ‘Aphelion.’ Ky’s tale of self-redemption and inner strength is brilliantly portrayed as she deals with betrayal, heartbreak and loss. This book stirs the emotions and keeps the reader engaged at a harrowing pace at the story draws to its epic conclusion.

After escaping the Skywatchers, Ky is finally reunited with her brother. The base hosts an awesome community, humans and Solians alike, and everyone seems so friendly and welcoming. Only the Skywatchers are always on her heels, never giving up, and betrayal lurks in every shadow. Ky, Tyson, and Reece have to fight hard to make the dream of peace come true.
The sequel to Aphelion is as much adventurous and fast-paced as the first book, packed with sensory overload from all the emotional impressions especially from Ky -while her sarcasm remains intact and still the one top thing she is recognizable for, aside from her hunting skills. There are sweetening moments, like the birthday party, to lighten the mood of being hunted, betrayed, and murdered. One can only hope that the awesome characters fighting for the truth and justice will find a way to escape to happiness...
I really enjoyed the read, and I hope there will be something more in this miniseries.

A very exciting book with nonstop action and a little slow burn romance. Ky thought she knew who was telling the truth and who wasn’t, who to trust and who not to. But some things just didn’t make sense anymore. So many twists in this story will keep you guessing who Ky sides with until the end. I was entranced with this well written story. Very well described characters that could be your friends or enemies. The world building is fantastic and very well described. The action scenes were very easy to follow and very exciting. I loved the way Ky’s and Reece’s relationship played off one another’s. Just a great all around, enjoyable read. I received an advance copy at no cost from the author and one which I can easily recommend.

I loved the way Equinox ended. I was definitely hoping for that outcome. I am not certain if a book 3 is in consideration, but I'd be so on board with another book picking up where Equinox left off. I should say if there is not a book 3 planned than this duology is still satisfying as it stands now.

I enjoyed the premise of this book the most. You have aliens, but the book explores who the bad guys really are. Ky is a great heroine. She is strong, not afraid to say what she thinks, and vulnerable. Reece is a match to her snarkiness in every way.

This book also questions the limits society often tries to put on love.

The Skywatcher series is awesome. I recommend it.

This was a very satisfying follow up to book 1 in the Skywatchers series. The relationships are deepened, the stakes are higher, and the main heroine has to make some tough choices about her loyalties and her future.
