For the first time ever, all six of USA Today Bestselling author Jane Henry's NYC Doms are available in one boxset! Fall in love with the Doms of NYC. They'll steal your heart, make you swoon, and bring you to your knees.
Deliverance He's bred to protect.
Tobias Creed likes things done his way, and he likes his women ready to submit. No strings attached. Until the night he meets the one woman who challenges him, practically begging to be taken over his knee.
As a single mom to a child with special needs, Diana McAdams does things her way. She's in control and doesn't have time for love. Happily-ever-afters aren't for her.
Then she meets the man who demands her submission...
Safeguard The engagement may be fake, but the handcuffs? Not so much.
She's feisty, gorgeous, impossible. Submissive. And all mine.
I don't do half-assed relationships. When I set my sights on the most headstrong, tenacious submissive I've ever met, I'm all in. I'll show her the dark, sensual world she craves, dominate her, and leave her begging for more. But when her safety's endangered, she needs more than a dom: she needs a safeguard.
Conviction
Braxton Cannon can't get the girl on the dance floor out of his mind, the woman he literally swept off her feet and into Club Verge. She's no submissive, but he can't help but admire her ferocity, even as he yearns to take her over his lap and teach her manners. He's determined to keep her safe if he has to lock her up himself.
Officer Zoe Mackay can handle herself. But when she learns information that puts her life at risk, she's forced to seek the assistance of a private investigator. Little does she know the man she hires is none other than Braxton Cannon, the high-handed dominant who gave her the hottest one-night stand of her life.
With her assailants in hot pursuit, Zoe is forced to seek refuge in Club Verge, where she finds way more than she's bargained for...
Salvation
Seven years ago, she was sheltered. In need of guidance. I was a newly-ordained priest with a vow of celibacy. Our torrid love affair ended in heartbreak.
We broke it off and went our separate ways. I left the priesthood. She left her home. Seven years later, she's stranded in my NYC Club while a blizzard rages outside, and she wants a taste of dominance.
I won't let another man lay eyes on her, much less touch her.
She's still my everything. My salvation.
And there's no way I'm letting her go...
Schooled
I never fraternize with my students. Never touch them.
But when Giada Romano walks into my classroom, my perfect resolve crumbles.
She's gorgeous. And bratty as hell. She's brilliant. And woefully disobedient.
I'll bend her over my desk and teach her the manners her daddy should have taught her.
Opposition I hate Liam Alexander.
I hate his Rolex.
I hate his scowl. I hate everything his multi-billion-dollar company stands for.
Fueled by dark chocolate and even darker coffee, USA Today bestselling author Jane Henry writes what she loves to read – character-driven, unputdownable romance featuring dominant alpha males and the powerful heroines who bring them to their knees. She’s believed in the power of love and romance since Belle won over the beast, and finally decided to write love stories of her own.
Deliverance (NYC Doms Book 1) LIVES CHANGE IN A MATTER OF SECONDS
As a huge fan of everything Ms. Jane Henry has written, I was especially excited to see she was starting a new series, and guess what? She delivered once again with Deliverance. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. I am already excited for more in this series.
Diana McAdams is caught between a rock and a hard place in life. Raising a special needs son who can’t handle change, she has to be there for him, while working on teaching him to embrace and accept changes. Dealing with Chad’s POS father who stirs the pot and exacerbates the issues of his son as if saying, ‘buck up and get over it’ makes it better. The only person in her life that is a support system for both herself and Chad is her best friend, Beatrice.
Tobias Creed is a dominant, a man who expects obedience, and commands respect. He, along with his friend, Seth, own and run a BDSM club called Verge. Tobias could have just about any of the single women in the club setting but is not attached to anyone. He will scene, and also is involved in doing demonstrations.
The plot will have a drunken and angry Diana keying a car that she assumes belonged to the cheating man she had been seeing. Getting caught in the act by the owner of the car comes as a surprise, and now she is due restitution. But what will Tobias demand and how can she afford it?
Take one dominant BDSM club owner and one feisty woman, and you have an amazing tale of power exchange and eventually total submission. Tobias has an air about him that isn’t pushy, but commanders respect. Diana has had to be strong and tough for so long, that when Tobias enters the picture and has a positive effect on Chad, she is overwhelmed with respect and will eventually acquiesce to him. His dominance and control allows her submissive side to let go and fly.
“Don’t move those arms, babe. I wanna f*** you, and I wanna do it on my terms. I like control on a normal day. In bed? I like it completely.”
The story has mystery and suspense due to a serial rapist attacking, beating, raping, and even killing some of the submissive women of the club, and it will link the crimes to Verge. Now the police are involved and scrambling to try and discover if it is one of the Verge members is committing these heinous acts. With life and death issues, Tobias will pull away from Diana as the club is closed down trying to solve this crime and it will not only affect them personally but also Chad. Will an act of disobedience and defiance bring them closers, or tear them apart?
The story has many spanking scenes, views and scenes from inside Verge, and explicit sex scenes including BDSM play. While the crime of rape is mentioned, there are no scenes of this heinous act detailed; it is only mentioned as happening to victims of Verge. The details of Chad is shared in a way that the reader can embrace the challenges a parent faces with a child that suffers OCD and changes and the differences between positive and negative parenting that affect those involved.
Safeguard (NYC Doms) CONTROL—FOCUS—PATIENCE
Another great story in the NYC Doms series, and while its part of a series, it will easily read as a stand-alone. It does have several people from the first book, Deliverance, and they the two stories do intermingle with the close relationships between people and the BDSM club, Verge. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, danger, angst, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. I am already excited for more in this series. Beatrice Moore left her family and moved to NYC to be on her own, and overall has proven to be a successful businesswoman. She and Dina are best friends, and together they have formed a friendship that is stronger and closer than most families. Now they are each involved with a Dom and enjoy scening at a private BDSM club called Verge. She has some secrets that are going to be revealed.
Detective Zach Williams is a dominant that has helped out with issues at Verge, where he is also a member. He met Beatrice at the club through her friend Diana who is engaged to Tobias, one of the club owners.
The plot will have Beatrice and Zach involved with each other exclusively. When he discovers a stack of unopened mail at her apartment, he will tell her she needs to sort through it, where an invitation is found her to favorite cousin’s wedding. It is decided that she will attend and take Zach with her. The closer they get to her parents home, the more she frets. She has left out some key information about her family and their wealth. Then to learn that there is a man that her mother has tried to push her into a relationship adds to her stress level.
“There was nothing like the adrenaline rush of an inner-city NYPD job to feed my need for control, order, and justice, my skills at piecing things together with skill leading me to become a detective.”
The story will have strange things start happening to Beatrice even at her parent’s and escalating after they leave and return by to NYC. Blocked phone calls, cards, flowers, and other issues will have both Beatrice and Zach on alert. It will have her on edge and snapping because she feels boxed in and he wants to keep her safe. When they are at the club or even in his home and in D/s mode, during and after scenes, she is fine, but it is slowly crashing in on her, and she will strike out at Zach and walk away in confusion.
“It feels so good to call him sir. I feel little and precious, and cared for and I can’t deny it’s hot. It’s so wrong, but that’s partly why I love it. I was afraid that submitting to you meant I was somehow weaker. Not stronger.”
“My job is to help her reach her full potential, to support her, and take care of her the best I can. And she takes care of me. Just because I’m the dom doesn’t mean that I don’t need her every bit as much as she needs me. She fulfills my need to protect but supports me as I am, no judgment. And it’s in that mutual give and takes that we find our fulfillment.”
“It takes incredible strength to submit. I fought for her. And, I won.”
The story will take on life and death danger as Beatrice fights against Zach’s protection and allows her stalker to kidnap her. Be careful who you trust, and what their motives are. Maybe a seasoned detective is wise for making the decisions to keep the lady he loves safe. There is plenty of BDSM and spanking scenes, mostly in the context of scening rather than as a discipline with explicit sex scenes. There is also some minor violence by a cruel person with attempted rape.
Conviction (NYC Doms) YOU CAN RUN, BUT I’LL ALWAYS CATCH YOU
Another great story in the NYC Doms series, and while its part of a series, it will easily read as a stand-alone. It does have several people from the first two books but mainly will focus on Braxton Cannon and Zoe Mackay. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, danger, angst, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. I am already excited for more in this series.
Braxton sold his auto body shop and was looking for something to help fill in time between the club scene. Now he is a Dungeon Monitor at Verge and is also going to start doing PI work for Stefan Myers His first assignment will not be as cut and dry as one would hope and it is the main factor that keeps this tale on edge.
Officer Zoe MacKay is tough for her work, not afraid to confront criminals, and can hold her own. When she becomes privy to some critical information that involves law enforcement and government officials, she needs to see the aid of a private investigator. She had bad vibes with the officer she had been dating and believed he is involved with criminal activity, including the death of a man.
The story will start at the party to celebrate the marriage of Zach and Beatrice. Brax had been warned by Zach to avoid Zoe because she has emotional baggage but ignores that message. He has been watching Zoe on the dance floor and also has seen her taking multiple shots. She will go from dancing to agreeing to leave the party with him, a complete stranger. What seems to be a one-night hookup will change in the light of day. What a shock to go to her appointment at Myers Investigation and meet Braxton there.
The plot will have Zoe sharing sensitive information at the PI firm with Braxton, and when he takes her to her apartment, there is someone in there. A fight will take place, but the assailant will get away. That is all it takes for Brax to know that he needs to get Zoe moved and in protection, she is a target. Taking her to Club Verge will offer her a safe place with security and limited access.
“I trust him. Let him take care of you.”
Two people, each with a past, will be together as they break open a major criminal case that has some people in hiding and others murdered. The chemistry between Brax and Zoe is evident, and while she isn’t submissive, she willingly submits to him. He opens the door to a new world of sexuality that is unlike anything she has ever experienced. He isn’t afraid to catch her when she falls, and she opens up to him about her painful childhood. For two people not really dating, their time together allows them to learn about a person than most would in months of dating.
“A little pain play—spanking—bondage. Yeah, those are my favorite.”
“She literally has no safe place; nowhere she could turn as a child and now as an adult. But she isn’t alone anymore. She doesn’t have to face this by herself. Then the way we talked, whispering in the darkness, a borrowed place and time where trusts are kept, and hushed secrets given voice. He listened. Then he held me until I fell asleep. My heart belongs to this man, and I’m powerless to stop it. I’m never powerless to anything. Where do we go from here? He isn’t the one making me cry. He’s the one who hurts me in a way that frees me.”
After Braxton’s bad relationship with Nicole, he is cautious with women. He has a daughter, Devin, and she is his world. For years now, he has played with partners, but not let them in, but Zoe isn’t like the rest, she is real, she is honest.
“I’ve glimpsed my prize, and I’m not letting go. I don’t want a woman who’s supple and compliant. I want to fight for her submission and earn it, like a king in battle. I want all her flaws and imperfections with her beauty, for it was in overcoming her demons she became who she is today.”
“There is a difference between being a natural sub and submitting to one person. She’s a multi-faced enigma, a beautiful, heartbreaking meld of past, present, and future, intricately woven with needs I yearn to fill. She longs for the empathy and companionship of a friend, the protection, and guidance of a dom, the thrill and adoration of a lover.”
The story will take on life and death danger as Braxton and Zoe go into hiding while contacting key witnesses to a criminal organization within law enforcement. They must keep Zoe in hiding as they uncover where several witnesses are that can help bring down the corrupt. There is plenty of BDSM and spanking scenes, mostly in the context in private with minor discipline with explicit sex scenes.
Salvation (NYC Doms) FORGIVE ME, FATHER, FOR I HAVE SINNED
The fourth story in the NYC Dom series is a great addition to the first three, Deliverance, Safeguard, and Conviction. The story will have several key players from the previous books but is written in a way that it can hold its own as a stand-alone. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, danger, angst, and is definitely a page-turner that I did not want to put down. I am hoping that we will see more books in this series.
Axel is a man with a past, one that haunts him with his demons. One that he hasn’t shared with even his closest of friends, and keeps close to his vest. He works two jobs, one as a mechanic, hence the name Axel, and another at Club Verge, a BDSM club in NYC.
“Do we ever lose the demons? It’s a constant battle, you know. Good and evil. Right and wrong. Selfish or selfless.”
Chandra was born in America, but her family is from India and hold to old-fashioned customs. They have always controlled her life, where she could go, who she could see, and then an arranged marriage with a man of their choice. But Chandra has different plans, ones that involve taking control of her own life, but the surprise is meeting Father Noah.
The story will have some backstory and memories of Chandra and her involvement with Father Noah, the angst of their relationship and eventual separation. Against everything she was raised with, she will leave her family, move to New York City and pursue what she wants, which will include writing romance novels with power play, dominance and submission, and BDSM. She will find an outlet working for Marla at Books and Cups and finally take that extra step, one to help her with her writing, and enter Verge—and this will be the rest of the story.
“Creativity can’t be corralled. So when the muse comes knocking, I have to answer the door.”
Axel is on DM duty, the club is packed, and they are watching the weather closely. Several times they forecast blizzard conditions only to fizzle out, but not tonight. The weather turns, and Axel must evacuate the club, then he will stay there in his private room for the night. What a shock as he is doing a final sweep to discover a woman in the restroom sick—but even more surprising, she is one from seven years in his past. She is the one who still haunts him.
“We’re alone at a BDSM club. It’s almost like it was fate.”
Axel must keep Chandra at the club and safe, and it comes with so many mixed emotions--part of him is happy to see her, and another is furious that she is at a BDSM club. The next day weather will keep them in, and she begs him to scene with her for her writing, so he gives her what she wants on his terms. Will this be the end of them, or will fate have other plans?
“You just declared ownership of me.”
The story has danger and suspense, troublemakers, and eventually answers to why. Are Axel and Chandra in danger? What will it take to keep her safe? Part of him wants to lock her away, and yet another knows that he can’t do that, but he can place restrictions on her. Axel will have to wrestle demons of his past, knowing he always had dominant tendencies, that he enjoyed the control he held over a submissive. He learned that it is a give and take, just like what he has with Chandra, and her gift of submission is in her control, and that it is her power.
“I wonder, right here, while the club members pursue their interests, isn’t this the battle of selfish versus selfless? Good and evil? Right and wrong? They need to trust one another, and they strip away all that holds them back when they bring and bared, vulnerable selves here to play, both dom and sub alike. When given the choice, submissives can choose to retain their own control or relinquish it to someone else. Dominants wield authority that has the power to build or destroy.”
The story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of people. It includes life and death, secrets, scandal, and plots. It is a forbidden love story of two people who must confront the past, bury it behind them and approach the future together. It is a power struggle of accepting that with two consenting adults who both want the same thing, there is nothing wrong, as long as it is safe, sane and consensual. The story will depict scenes inside a BDSM club, but between Axel and Chandra, they will scene in private, along with explicit sex scenes.
Merged review:
As a huge fan of everything Ms. Jane Henry has written, I was especially excited to see she was starting a new series, and guess what? She delivered once again with NYC Doms Series. The stories each have a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. Most of the stories will tie in with a BDSM club, Verge.
The story has many spanking scenes, views and scenes from inside Verge, and explicit sex scenes including BDSM play. While the crime of rape is mentioned, there are no scenes of this heinous act detailed; it is only mentioned as happening to victims of Verge.
While each story in this series could read as a stand-alone, they all do blend together.
DELIVERANCE Diana is a tad tipsy and decides to key her cheating ex boyfriend’s car. Except, it is not his car!!! It is the very expensive car of a Dom from Verge, a NYC BDSM club. Not wanting her to ride away in anonymity, Tobias brings her into his office to get her information. When a lock-down is enforced, Diana gets a tour of the club from a sub. She had never been to a kinky club and knew just about nothing about what happens. I found myself laughing and enjoying her interest since I have never been to a BDSM club either. I love the way Tobias dominates her “gently” and finds her interest very arousing. At first she does not understand the connection of pleasure with the pain. She is wary of the whole BDSM atmosphere, but she is turned on and ready to try. It does not take her long to find her way to excitement and joy by accepting carefully applied dominant control. This story tugged at my heartstrings, but it also made me laugh and enjoy Diana’s acceptance of Domination and submission. I loved all the main characters in this book, and hope to see more of them in other stories.
SAFEGUARD Zack is a police officer/detective for the NYPD. He is also a strong, caring Dom. Beatrice met him a short time ago through her friend Diana. Beatrice has a history that she has kept hidden. She has been invited to a wedding for a cousin she loves. Of course, she wants to go, but what will happen when Zack is brought face to face with her domineering mother and her super wealthy past? What will happen when supposedly beautiful but really nasty intrigue invades her life? Who s stalking her and why? How will Zack handle the terrified part of her she has chosen to leave behind? Will he be able to accept her with all her flaws and foibles as well as her beautiful trust and submission?
CONVICTION While at a wedding reception for Zack and Beatrice, Braxton cannot take his eyes off of Zoe. Braxton is a Dungeon Monitor at Verge, a popular BDSM club. Zoe is a policewoman for the NYPD, who knows NOTHING about BDSM. Brax takes her to his room at Verge. What she hears (Sir and Master) as they enter the club seems a bit weird, but also scary and exciting. The next morning Zoe leaves to attend an important meeting. Brax tries to return to his home to shower and change in preparation for his new job as a private investigator, but is called by his new boss to interview a client immediately. He agrees and discovers it is Zoe. She tells her story and Brax decides to protect her. She begins to like his strength and power “a tiny bit”. But Zoe is a fiercely independent woman, and Brax is determined to protect her. Their interactions are mildly dom controlled, but their arguments are breath-takingly equal. Can two such independent, self-motivated, tenacious souls find a way to merge their desires into a “forever”?
SALVATION This is a fascinating story of two people, Chandra and Axle, who knew each other once upon a time in another place, and another life. They fortuitously meet again, many years later at Verge, a BDSM club. It was easy to feel their sadness mixed with a bit of guilt at what was past, then their surprise at having met again. Ultimately, I found myself seduced by their mounting erotic anticipation, as it developed into a passionate dominant/submissive relationship. I was entranced by the thought process of Chandra, a first time sub, and empathetic to both Axle and Chandra, who, at a young age, were made to believe that their desires were warped, depraved, and needed to be annihilated. And I felt elated to see that, in different ways and to different degrees, they were able to bypass that negativity to accept and acknowledge their true self. I admire Axle’s dominance, and envy Chandra’s submission. This story was full of beauty, sensuality and smoldering passion, centered within the trust-filled power exchange of a loving BDSM relationship.
SCHOOLED Geoffrey is a Creative Writing Professor at a Community College. He is also a Daddy Dom, currently without his own “Little Baby”. Giada is a spoiled, rich, self-absorbed young lady. She is kinky and ever so attracted to her Professor. When she calls him, “Daddy,” her future is sealed. Giada has currently become a member of Verge. They meet up in the classroom and at Verge in order to further their relationship. Will they both find satisfaction? Will Geoffrey lose his job? These are two people searching for someone to love and accept them and their unique desires. Will this happen at Verge? Will they find eventual happiness and fulfillment with each other? This story is amazing. It is extremely hot and naughty and erotically exciting, and, at one point it even made me laugh!!! I am just going to say I LOVED this Daddy Dom and you should READ THIS STORY!
OPPOSITION Cora is an extremely poor college student struggling with two jobs to care for her brother and sister. Their mother died from a drug overdose while in jail. Liam stops by the bookstore/coffee shop to get a simple black coffee and finds Cora speaking on the phone. He assumes she is wasting work time to speak to a boyfriend. In reality she is speaking to one of her siblings. Later, while Cora is tending bar at Verge, Liam comes in costume and lures her into the dungeon (she has never even been anywhere but the bar). This is a fabulous story of an extremely rich man completely used to getting exactly what he wants and a college girl raising two siblings on a salary that pretty much excludes her own meals. I love the way Liam pursues her; and I love the way Cora resists at first and then eagerly submits to his demands. I was completely enthralled by Liam’s consideration and desire for his sub that changed him from a controlling businessman into a dominant who has come to love her smile, her humor, her intelligence, her reaction to pleasure and pain, and her care of her family.
Each of these stories is a standalone. They are fascinating and exciting and full of erotic encounters and heart filling love. I definitely recommend this delicious box set for anyone interested in the journey of love.
This is one great boxset!! It includes: 1. Deliverance Have you ever been so hurt, it turned to anger, and then you took leave of your senses? They get drunk and thinking about it causes you to do something that you normally wouldn't do? Yeah, that's what happened to Diana. She caught her boyfriend in bed with another woman so when she and her best friend Beatrice went out drinking she happened to see his car parked at the side of the road. Determined, she proceeded to key the entire passenger side only to be confronted with the actual owner. Growly Dom and owner of Verge, the BDSM club in town. Did you feel that knot in your stomach? That was only the beginning of what will become a terrific storyline between these two, their cast of side characters, all of which have personality quirks so relatable it will tantalize your senses. Add to that the mystery of the underlying plot and you have a book you can't put down until The End.
2. Safeguard Officer Zach Williams is not only Beatrice's boyfriend, he's her Dom. After receiving an invitation to her youngest cousin Chantilly's wedding, Zach agrees to go with her since he doesn't want her driving alone. Now that she's invited him, Zach will know she's not just a yoga teacher who lives in a studio apartment in NYC. He'll meet her parents, see where she comes from, who she was. Is she ready to share everything with him? This has been a hard-fought, emotional journey for Beatrice, Dianna's best friend, and Zach. Their S/m relationship is tumultuous at the best of times, but the scenes between them are beautiful. Jane Henry gives us a story so poignantly filled with drama, angst, mystery, dominance, submission, fear, and love. Each character, flaws and all, are so personable I felt like I knew them personally. "Safeguard" is an integral part of the "Doms of NYC" series and gave this reader a closer look at this BDSM family and their love for each other.
3. Conviction
4. Salvation Noah knew from an early age he enjoyed the thoughts and urges he had of wanting to spank girls. He carried those mental pictures with him. When he started mentally chastising himself and feeling it was wrong, he confessed them to the priest. He was immediately told to stay away from any temptation that would bring about those feelings. When they still wouldn't go away, he became a priest thinking the celibacy would take care of the issue. Until he met her one day sitting on the steps of the rectory in tears. What fate has in store for these two is filled with friendship, love, heartbreak, fear, and terror. This is a second chance romance with personalities and BDSM scenes between a D/s that certainly relatable.
5. Schooled It's not against the rules to have a certain proclivity for younger women or be members of a private, exclusive BDSM club. After a mutual breakup from his sub of six months, leaving them as friends, Geoffrey figured he could channel his need to nurture and guide in a more … wholesome way. Being the best professor he could be helped him let go of the past and focus on the present. He expected them to come to class on time, do their work promptly and efficiently, and if they didn't, there were consequences. He had a reputation of being hard but liked it that way. Giada had promised her father a long time ago, she would make the concession of going to school in the summer and it meant something to her that she kept that promise. Summer classes were shorter than standard ones, so the workload was intense. There were a few things she learned, this being her third class. 1) all professors are old and stodgy 2) no hot football players take summer classes on campus and 3) the chai latte and scones in the café were delicious. This was just an easy read with no in-depth plot, but an instant connection that will keep you titillated throughout the story. The characters were personable and you could see the scenes play out in your mind as you read. One of those that you just curl up with when you want a bit of naughty pleasure.
6. Opposition They had met at college and became fast friends. So when Cora's life imploded, Chandra got her a job at Books and Cups. She's also taken on a second job at Club Verge, a BDSM club, as a bartender where Chandra and her husband Axle are members. She had to. She's going to school for investigative reporting so she can support herself and her two younger siblings. Liam relocated to Manhattan from Boston. He and Tobias, the owner of Club Verge, were good friends back in the day. So when he found out Tobias owned Club Verge, of course he joined, given a private room, and assured him they would keep his identity protected. The added benefit was any time he entered the club, he's no longer Liam Alexander, Wall Street executive and C.E.O. of Alexander Enterprises. He's simply master. When Liam goes into Books and Cups to get a cup of coffee, its to find Cora on her phone to what he thinks is her boyfriend. Yep, the worst first meeting, customer experience, patron from hell moment. And the day only gets better from there. I absolutely love this series. Jane Henry has a way of infusing her characters with relatable personalities that just make you feel like you know exactly who she's talking about.
The first 6 stories in the series - highly recommend for anyone into D/s stories
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy detailed intimate scenes and violence.
This series surrounds couples involved with, or interested in becoming involved with, Verge, a BDSM nightclub. There are lots of scenes for anyone just interested in the hot and steamy scenes, but these are fully developed stories, that for the most part are well written. The characters involved in the stories also appear in other stories besides their own, so it makes for a dynamic universe. There are also some elements of “whodunnit”.
These are some of the reasons that I rated the series overall 5 stars. However, I was very close to downgrading it, as there are a few gaps (mentions that female had never drank and then in the next chapter or so, mentions that one of the times they had issues was when she got drunk & female being threatened / intimidated but no real resolution mentioned or reason given, etc.). There are also a few grammatical errors but nothing too major.
I highly recommend these stories and series if you like to escape from reality, imagining about D/s relationships, a strong male to treat you like his princess and take care of you, etc.
If you do not like consensual power exchanges, please do NOT purchase and then provide a lower rating than what these stories deserve.
This is such a terrific collection of reads. I loved this series of books and this is a perfect way to get all of them together with one single click and with none of that pesky having to wait for the next one to release. Six books are included and they will provide you with hours of steamy and emotional reading pleasure. Well written and engaging story lines feature complex characters that entertain and have you invested. There are plenty of hot scenes and sizzling chemistry but also lots of emotion, drama, intensity, mystery, danger and suspense. This is my independent, impartial review.
Awesome books .. I had read these individually some time ago but as a box set decided to read thru and see which one I had not yet read and it was the last story so glad I took a shot with them ... anyone who has not read them should give them a try they are so worth the time ... thanks for the box set.. :)
I love Jane Henry's books. I first read this series in KU. After the first book I was hooked and read all of the books as soon as I could. This series gives a great look into BDSM, with hot Doms and great subs. Add this series to your list, but I warn you, if you haven't already read Jane's books, you will be hooked (this is not a bad thing).
Geez...these books are amazing!!!! A box set of all these amazing stories in one place for one price? If you’ve been trying to see if this author is for you, here’s your chance. One click it...you won’t be disappointed.
Very interesting reading. Loved the characters and that you stayed in top of what was going on in their lives throughout the series...think Axel was my favorite 😊 maybe Alexander though ...loved both of their stories
I just binge read this six book set, and was SO sorry when it finished. I'm heading to the Amazon bookstore to start the rest of Jane Henry's books. You're going to love this collection.
This whole series by Jane Henry is one of my favorites when it comes to BDSM stories. Each one has characters brought to life by Ms. Henry and you can't help but fall in love with them. Grab this whole set and spend a day with the NYC Doms and they ladies who capture their hearts!
I loved this box set and everything in it. If your into these type of romance this is the book for you. Each book gives you a glimpse into each characters life and relationship. Absolutely loved it
I am so jealous! You all get to read all the NYC Doms Books by Jane Henry in one collection and FREE with your KU Subscription. I had to read them all separately and had to wait in-between books, anticipating who's story was going to make me swoon next. All the Doms at the BDSM club Verge are sizzling hot, alphas who are passionately protective of their submissions. Their submissives are strong, equally passionate, and equal matches to these guys. Each story has it's own twists and turns and each are well paced, intense reads. I loved them all.
