Deliverance (NYC Doms Book 1)
LIVES CHANGE IN A MATTER OF SECONDS
As a huge fan of everything Ms. Jane Henry has written, I was especially excited to see she was starting a new series, and guess what? She delivered once again with Deliverance. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. I am already excited for more in this series.
Diana McAdams is caught between a rock and a hard place in life. Raising a special needs son who can’t handle change, she has to be there for him, while working on teaching him to embrace and accept changes. Dealing with Chad’s POS father who stirs the pot and exacerbates the issues of his son as if saying, ‘buck up and get over it’ makes it better. The only person in her life that is a support system for both herself and Chad is her best friend, Beatrice.
Tobias Creed is a dominant, a man who expects obedience, and commands respect. He, along with his friend, Seth, own and run a BDSM club called Verge. Tobias could have just about any of the single women in the club setting but is not attached to anyone. He will scene, and also is involved in doing demonstrations.
The plot will have a drunken and angry Diana keying a car that she assumes belonged to the cheating man she had been seeing. Getting caught in the act by the owner of the car comes as a surprise, and now she is due restitution. But what will Tobias demand and how can she afford it?
Take one dominant BDSM club owner and one feisty woman, and you have an amazing tale of power exchange and eventually total submission. Tobias has an air about him that isn’t pushy, but commanders respect. Diana has had to be strong and tough for so long, that when Tobias enters the picture and has a positive effect on Chad, she is overwhelmed with respect and will eventually acquiesce to him. His dominance and control allows her submissive side to let go and fly.

The story has mystery and suspense due to a serial rapist attacking, beating, raping, and even killing some of the submissive women of the club, and it will link the crimes to Verge. Now the police are involved and scrambling to try and discover if it is one of the Verge members is committing these heinous acts. With life and death issues, Tobias will pull away from Diana as the club is closed down trying to solve this crime and it will not only affect them personally but also Chad. Will an act of disobedience and defiance bring them closers, or tear them apart?
The story has many spanking scenes, views and scenes from inside Verge, and explicit sex scenes including BDSM play. While the crime of rape is mentioned, there are no scenes of this heinous act detailed; it is only mentioned as happening to victims of Verge. The details of Chad is shared in a way that the reader can embrace the challenges a parent faces with a child that suffers OCD and changes and the differences between positive and negative parenting that affect those involved.

CONTROL—FOCUS—PATIENCE
Another great story in the NYC Doms series, and while its part of a series, it will easily read as a stand-alone. It does have several people from the first book, Deliverance, and they the two stories do intermingle with the close relationships between people and the BDSM club, Verge. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, danger, angst, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. I am already excited for more in this series.
Beatrice Moore left her family and moved to NYC to be on her own, and overall has proven to be a successful businesswoman. She and Dina are best friends, and together they have formed a friendship that is stronger and closer than most families. Now they are each involved with a Dom and enjoy scening at a private BDSM club called Verge. She has some secrets that are going to be revealed.
Detective Zach Williams is a dominant that has helped out with issues at Verge, where he is also a member. He met Beatrice at the club through her friend Diana who is engaged to Tobias, one of the club owners.
The plot will have Beatrice and Zach involved with each other exclusively. When he discovers a stack of unopened mail at her apartment, he will tell her she needs to sort through it, where an invitation is found her to favorite cousin’s wedding. It is decided that she will attend and take Zach with her. The closer they get to her parents home, the more she frets. She has left out some key information about her family and their wealth. Then to learn that there is a man that her mother has tried to push her into a relationship adds to her stress level.
“There was nothing like the adrenaline rush of an inner-city NYPD job to feed my need for control, order, and justice, my skills at piecing things together with skill leading me to become a detective.”
The story will have strange things start happening to Beatrice even at her parent’s and escalating after they leave and return by to NYC. Blocked phone calls, cards, flowers, and other issues will have both Beatrice and Zach on alert. It will have her on edge and snapping because she feels boxed in and he wants to keep her safe. When they are at the club or even in his home and in D/s mode, during and after scenes, she is fine, but it is slowly crashing in on her, and she will strike out at Zach and walk away in confusion.
“It feels so good to call him sir. I feel little and precious, and cared for and I can’t deny it’s hot. It’s so wrong, but that’s partly why I love it. I was afraid that submitting to you meant I was somehow weaker. Not stronger.”

There is plenty of BDSM and spanking scenes, mostly in the context of scening rather than as a discipline with explicit sex scenes. There is also some minor violence by a cruel person with attempted rape.

It does have several people from the first two books but mainly will focus on Braxton Cannon and Zoe Mackay. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, danger, angst, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. I am already excited for more in this series.
Braxton sold his auto body shop and was looking for something to help fill in time between the club scene. Now he is a Dungeon Monitor at Verge and is also going to start doing PI work for Stefan Myers His first assignment will not be as cut and dry as one would hope and it is the main factor that keeps this tale on edge.
Officer Zoe MacKay is tough for her work, not afraid to confront criminals, and can hold her own. When she becomes privy to some critical information that involves law enforcement and government officials, she needs to see the aid of a private investigator. She had bad vibes with the officer she had been dating and believed he is involved with criminal activity, including the death of a man.
The story will start at the party to celebrate the marriage of Zach and Beatrice. Brax had been warned by Zach to avoid Zoe because she has emotional baggage but ignores that message. He has been watching Zoe on the dance floor and also has seen her taking multiple shots. She will go from dancing to agreeing to leave the party with him, a complete stranger. What seems to be a one-night hookup will change in the light of day. What a shock to go to her appointment at Myers Investigation and meet Braxton there.
The plot will have Zoe sharing sensitive information at the PI firm with Braxton, and when he takes her to her apartment, there is someone in there. A fight will take place, but the assailant will get away. That is all it takes for Brax to know that he needs to get Zoe moved and in protection, she is a target. Taking her to Club Verge will offer her a safe place with security and limited access.

Two people, each with a past, will be together as they break open a major criminal case that has some people in hiding and others murdered. The chemistry between Brax and Zoe is evident, and while she isn’t submissive, she willingly submits to him. He opens the door to a new world of sexuality that is unlike anything she has ever experienced. He isn’t afraid to catch her when she falls, and she opens up to him about her painful childhood. For two people not really dating, their time together allows them to learn about a person than most would in months of dating.

The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, danger, angst, and is definitely a page-turner that I did not want to put down. I am hoping that we will see more books in this series.
Axel is a man with a past, one that haunts him with his demons. One that he hasn’t shared with even his closest of friends, and keeps close to his vest. He works two jobs, one as a mechanic, hence the name Axel, and another at Club Verge, a BDSM club in NYC.
“Do we ever lose the demons? It’s a constant battle, you know. Good and evil. Right and wrong. Selfish or selfless.”
Chandra was born in America, but her family is from India and hold to old-fashioned customs. They have always controlled her life, where she could go, who she could see, and then an arranged marriage with a man of their choice. But Chandra has different plans, ones that involve taking control of her own life, but the surprise is meeting Father Noah.
The story will have some backstory and memories of Chandra and her involvement with Father Noah, the angst of their relationship and eventual separation. Against everything she was raised with, she will leave her family, move to New York City and pursue what she wants, which will include writing romance novels with power play, dominance and submission, and BDSM. She will find an outlet working for Marla at Books and Cups and finally take that extra step, one to help her with her writing, and enter Verge—and this will be the rest of the story.

The fourth story in the NYC Dom series is a great addition to the first three, Deliverance, Safeguard, and Conviction. The story will have several key players from the previous books but is written in a way that it can hold its own as a stand-alone. The story has a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, danger, angst, and is definitely a page-turner that I did not want to put down. I am hoping that we will see more books in this series.
Axel is a man with a past, one that haunts him with his demons. One that he hasn’t shared with even his closest of friends, and keeps close to his vest. He works two jobs, one as a mechanic, hence the name Axel, and another at Club Verge, a BDSM club in NYC.
“Do we ever lose the demons? It’s a constant battle, you know. Good and evil. Right and wrong. Selfish or selfless.”
Chandra was born in America, but her family is from India and hold to old-fashioned customs. They have always controlled her life, where she could go, who she could see, and then an arranged marriage with a man of their choice. But Chandra has different plans, ones that involve taking control of her own life, but the surprise is meeting Father Noah.
The story will have some backstory and memories of Chandra and her involvement with Father Noah, the angst of their relationship and eventual separation. Against everything she was raised with, she will leave her family, move to New York City and pursue what she wants, which will include writing romance novels with power play, dominance and submission, and BDSM. She will find an outlet working for Marla at Books and Cups and finally take that extra step, one to help her with her writing, and enter Verge—and this will be the rest of the story.

As a huge fan of everything Ms. Jane Henry has written, I was especially excited to see she was starting a new series, and guess what? She delivered once again with NYC Doms Series. The stories each have a great cast of characters, real-life emotions, mystery, and suspense, and is definitely a page-turner that I didn’t want to put down. Most of the stories will tie in with a BDSM club, Verge.
The story has many spanking scenes, views and scenes from inside Verge, and explicit sex scenes including BDSM play. While the crime of rape is mentioned, there are no scenes of this heinous act detailed; it is only mentioned as happening to victims of Verge.
While each story in this series could read as a stand-alone, they all do blend together.

I love the way Tobias dominates her “gently” and finds her interest very arousing. At first she does not understand the connection of pleasure with the pain. She is wary of the whole BDSM atmosphere, but she is turned on and ready to try. It does not take her long to find her way to excitement and joy by accepting carefully applied dominant control.
This story tugged at my heartstrings, but it also made me laugh and enjoy Diana’s acceptance of Domination and submission. I loved all the main characters in this book, and hope to see more of them in other stories.

I was entranced by the thought process of Chandra, a first time sub, and empathetic to both Axle and Chandra, who, at a young age, were made to believe that their desires were warped, depraved, and needed to be annihilated. And I felt elated to see that, in different ways and to different degrees, they were able to bypass that negativity to accept and acknowledge their true self. I admire Axle’s dominance, and envy Chandra’s submission.

This is a fabulous story of an extremely rich man completely used to getting exactly what he wants and a college girl raising two siblings on a salary that pretty much excludes her own meals. I love the way Liam pursues her; and I love the way Cora resists at first and then eagerly submits to his demands. I was completely enthralled by Liam’s consideration and desire for his sub that changed him from a controlling businessman into a dominant who has come to love her smile, her humor, her intelligence, her reaction to pleasure and pain, and her care of her family.
Each of these stories is a standalone. They are fascinating and exciting and full of erotic encounters and heart filling love. I definitely recommend this delicious box set for anyone interested in the journey of love.

The first 6 stories in the series - highly recommend for anyone into D/s stories
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy detailed intimate scenes and violence.
This series surrounds couples involved with, or interested in becoming involved with, Verge, a BDSM nightclub. There are lots of scenes for anyone just interested in the hot and steamy scenes, but these are fully developed stories, that for the most part are well written. These are some of the reasons that I rated the series overall 5 stars. However, I was very close to downgrading it, as there are a few gaps (mentions that female had never drank and then in the next chapter or so, mentions that one of the times they had issues was when she got drunk & female being threatened / intimidated but no real resolution mentioned or reason given, etc.). There are also a few grammatical errors but nothing too major.
I highly recommend these stories and series if you like to escape from reality, imagining about D/s relationships, a strong male to treat you like his princess and take care of you, etc.

This is such a terrific collection of reads. I loved this series of books and this is a perfect way to get all of them together with one single click and with none of that pesky having to wait for the next one to release. Six books are included and they will provide you with hours of steamy and emotional reading pleasure. Well written and engaging story lines feature complex characters that entertain and have you invested. There are plenty of hot scenes and sizzling chemistry but also lots of emotion, drama, intensity, mystery, danger and suspense. This is my independent, impartial review.

Awesome books .. I had read these individually some time ago but as a box set decided to read thru and see which one I had not yet read and it was the last story so glad I took a shot with them ...

I love Jane Henry's books. I first read this series in KU. After the first book I was hooked and read all of the books as soon as I could. This series gives a great look into BDSM, with hot Doms and great subs. Add this series to your list, but I warn you, if you haven't already read Jane's books, you will be hooked (this is not a bad thing).

This whole series by Jane Henry is one of my favorites when it comes to BDSM stories. Each one has characters brought to life by Ms. Henry and you can't help but fall in love with them. Grab this whole set and spend a day with the NYC Doms and they ladies who capture their hearts!

I am so jealous! You all get to read all the NYC Doms Books by Jane Henry in one collection and FREE with your KU Subscription. I had to read them all separately and had to wait in-between books, anticipating who's story was going to make me swoon next. All the Doms at the BDSM club Verge are sizzling hot, alphas who are passionately protective of their submissions. Their submissives are strong, equally passionate, and equal matches to these guys. Each story has it's own twists and turns and each are well paced, intense reads. I loved them all.
