I didn't trust reviews and had to read for myself,but for once I have to agree that this was an awesome love story of two people who loved hard.

Manhattan storm is the third book in a series but can absolutely be read as a standalone, and it is also told in dual POV. This is a tale of first love, and how life doesn’t always quite turn out how you planned it; following the main characters over a number of years, we see Theo and Bexley trying to navigate their way through the early days of this new relationship. They are polar opposites, with Theo being know as the “King” on campus, the star Quarterback, and Bex is the shy artist who has every intention of staying away from him. But boy, is that Fierro cub persuasive!!
Theo and Bexley's story took me on an emotional rollercoaster; at times it was utterly heartbreaking, and towards the end, I had tears streaming down my face. It’s the first book I’ve read by V Theia, and I was absolutely kicking myself for not reading Noah and Sena’s story first (they are Theo’s parents) but guaranteed I will be going back and reading them all very soon.

My heart broke for Bexley, what an amazing heroine who made the toughest choice any person would have to make in life and she did it for love. These two were devoted to each other and I felt it, their chemistry was palpable on every page. V. Theia writes connections between two people SO WELL without it getting tedious or boring. The story drives forward with the help of supporting cast that never detracts from the main couple, I don't know if it's done on purpose or just a happy side benefit, but I'm ALWAYS left wanting to know more about those secondary characters and hoping for their books ( looking at you, Tommy ) I already know the next in this standalone series is Lachlan Fierro and I can't wait for the genius hacker baby bro!!!
Honest to god, this was a wonderful read. Every page owned me. Some authors just get what I need and this is one of them.

What an incredible story that will rip you apart and put you back together again. After reading The Manhattan Series, I hoped there would be a story about Noah and Sena’s son, Theo. We meet him at college where he’s the BMOC but without the arrogance and is depicted as an all around good guy. When he meets Bexley, he is instantly smitten as is she, but she has no time for relationships. As Theo pursues her, you hope he wears down her defenses. They are perfect for each other, at least that is what I think. But life doesn’t always go as planned, does it. My heart broke so many times and I cried rivers, but then that just shows how incredible this story is. You will feel so many emotions, your head will be spinning. I was caught up in their story from the very first sentence, and so will you. I am truly in awe of this author and how with just her words she makes you fall in love with Theo and Bexley and they are forever imbedded in my heart and soul. Please do yourself a favor and read this phenomenal story!!

What an amazing read. Seriously, V got me on a roller coaster ride with this one…not surprised. Manhattan Storm tugs at my heart string. You will cry from turmoil and later you will cry from joy…but you will cry…get those tissues out. This was another epic love story written by Queen V. Every book gets better and better and better and better. I devoured this book in one day—holding my breath mostly.
Theo is his father’s son, sexy as sin, caring, funny, charming…persuasive…impossible to resist.
Bex the beautiful artist nerd who thinks that Theo is way out of her league. I love Bexley, she reminds me of my Sena somehow.
The two together is explosive.
From the beginning, Theo and Bex had chemistry in spades. Essentially it was love at first sight for Theo “his future wife”. I love how their relationship progressed into the type of love that you know will last forever. The kind of love that everyone wants to have…and by everyone, I mean me. 😊
The plot was amazing—didn’t see it coming. I cried for Theo and wanted to strangle Bexley, but I understand why she did what she did. I don’t want to give away spoilers, so you have to read it for yourself.

Manhattan Storm is a complete pleasure to read.
I absolutely love Bexley and Theo, they're such a cute couple and the way they're written really makes you, the reader, feel like you know them inside and out.
Then she smacks you around the head with the plot twist and your whole world is turned upside down.
As with all of V's books I cannot wait for the next one and love being part of her family on facebook.

MANHATTAN STORM was a book I literally inhaled in one sitting. From the very beginning I just hooked, maybe it was the way Ms. Theia sets the story up, I knew this one would be amazing and I wasn't wrong. We first get a tiny glimpse of the man Theo will become in his parents duet (Taboo Love Duet ) and I couldn't wait for his book!!
Don't be confused that this is a typical sports romance, it's not. Theo is a college QB and hero worshipped by everyone. He's king of the school, on the fast track to the NFL when an injury takes him out of the running and he has to reevaluate his whole life. He's driven and determined and he's the same way once he sees Bexley. It's instant MUST HAVE and his pursuit was gorgeous.
I love sports romances so add in a hot college football player who makes my eyes swoon with the delicious things he says and does and a heroine I immediately loved and I am one happy book whore.
I got all of those things with Manhattan Storm. The author says this isn't a "sportsball" romance, but there's a lot of tight football pants. I say it totally is though! <3
Theo Fierro, King of the school is your typical college football player, but he's also not. Because he's not a douchebag!! Such a big bonus to this story. He was raised right! Theo is sexy, he is a bit cocky at times, he is funny, but most importantly of all he is there for Bexley and her family issues. He's such a good man that my cheeks hurt from smiling so much.
I loved the bro-banter with his boys. Those were some of my fave scenes. I'm dying to see them again. I loved the EPIC EPILOGUE. One thing this author does is gives you that last piece of swoon at the very end with her epilogues, she never leaves you lacking.
Belxey was sweet; at times prickly and reluctant for good reason and she makes the ultimate sacrifice for love and oh my god, my heart HURT at those moments. I felt her pleading and heartbreak for what she had to do for the ones she loved. it was never in doubt how much she adored Theo Fierro. She really bloomed I guess you could say when she was with Theo, he brought out parts of her that she could never allow herself to be.
THE BATH TUB SCENES. omg. yes.
I don't want to spoil... but this isn't just a second chance trope, it also has a surprise trope that I didn't see coming but it's the MAKING OF THEO FIERRO!! He steps up and god, that man was perfect.
Manhattan Storm is a book I can easily say needs to be on the TBR lists of new adult romance fans, sports romance fan, or just anyone looking for a really good book because this is the book for you if you are. You will definitely be left satisfied and HUNGRY for the next in this beautiful standalone series. I'm ready for you, LACHIE!!!

Superstar Theo, eldest Fierro cub and Beautiful nerd artist Bexley have an all-consuming and riveting story. Theirs is a raging storm of passion, turmoil, deep unbridled love and lots of tears. Both blissfully happy tears and tears of utter despair on the behalf of both Theo and Bex at different times throughout their story.
It's really difficult to put into words just how deeply their story affected me without giving away spoilers. I am in awe of the way this Author's words pulls you down into the pages and can make one feel so much emotion.
I'll end with this as penned in the book: After the storm always comes the rainbow. Do Theo and Bex get their rainbow after the storm? You'll have to read this book and find out!

I swear V's books just keep getting better and better. This one is a fantastic addition to the Manhattan series.
This is a beautifully written story of first love with a tragic twist. I felt that I read the whole book while holding my breath, praying that things worked out for Theo and Bex. There were also some beautifully written comedic parts between the main characters.
I'm not going to put any spoilers in my review, but I will say grab the tissues, embrace the tight pants and sexy scenes, and enjoy the ride.
Cub #1 is here, and he's absolutely fantastic. We'll done again V.
I say with all V's books, yes they can be read as a stand alone, but why deprive yourself, go back to the beginning and read everything else she's written, you won't be disappointed.

Bex Bex Bex just like any self doubting woman. Yet fearless when it comes to her man.
Theo, truly a King of his castle.
The story builds and than bam plot twist as this author always gives (and i live for). And this time i feel like if i say anything i would spoil it for the readers.
A wonderful addition to the manhattan series. I loved seeing Sena and Noah.
“Love leads us where we need to be. It never promised it would be easy, but it will get you there.”
This author is an amazing world builder. Her stories leave you wanting more.

Welcome to the club cub
This is a book that will draw you in. Make you fall in love then cry. Theo is the son of Noah and Sena and if you thought his dad [the Lion] was not wait till you meet his cub. He is strong and always wanting to do the best he can. He sets his sights on Bexley who does not see why he would be interested - she will make you laugh but also make you feel with her. This book is amazing I cannot say any more and I am waiting for the next one already.

Bexley Fischer will just have to accept that I’m going to be her king.
AMAZING!!! This isn't my first book by V. Theia, I'm quite the fangirl now, but with all her books, I fall completely in love with these two new characters and plot. Not only did I fall in love with her writing style and gentle ease in which she delivers the right epic memorable lines but I fell In love with this couple sooooo much.
Bexley and Theo forever. Those epic once in a lifetime kinds of love that go down to the skin and bone. He bought her a milkshake, he elbowed her in the boob accidentally and it was love.
The cutest meet-cute ever!!
I’m basically on a pity date, but what beautiful Bexley Fischer doesn’t realize. I’m a ball player, and I go all out to win.
I’m going to win her.
I was pulled in from the beginning and not ready for it to end! I loved this story so much. I went through every emotion in this book swooning, angry, butterflies in my stomach, nervous, heartbroken and completely in love!
Theo and Bexley had amazing chemistry, off the charts kind of hot and those steamy scenes....wowza!!
These characters will be sticking with me for awhile.
And I was deliriously fangirl happy too see Theo's parents again, Sena and Noah, from the Taboo Love Duet.
Perfect side characters that always add to the story but never distract and I get so invested that I now want all their stories.
Especially best friend Dakota ( so funny and says shit like it is!)
and Tommy Bianchi. I want that hot rockstar book now!!
I can't wait for book 4 in this standalone series.

So this was possible one of the hardest reviews I have ever had to write and not because of that reason that you think. I could not have loved a book more had Vic crawled into my brain and put everything that I wanted and didn't even know that I needed into a book. It is literally all the feels, my soul couldn't cope at times and my heart just about burst during others, add in the exploding ovaries and you know it was a great all rounder!
I am the queen of not writing spoilers so I won't do that to y'all now either but what I can say is that I would not have expected any of what goes on in this book and even the things that I didn't love completely had me grinning like a lunatic by the end, once I dried the tears and ate all the ice cream.
These two truly hold a special place in my heart, Theo and Bexley will forever be in my Re-read pile because they are just that amazing!

It was nice at the end to have a quick visit with
Some of the other Manhattan characters, with a
Glimpse into the other cubs stories.
I liked Theo a lot, and felt so bad for Blexley.
Felt that the first letter should have provided the
Answers that Theo needed.
He may have still had the same feelings but he
Wasn’t given that option.
When I discovered Blexleys secret I wanted to
Reach into the pages and shake her. Though I
understand why she did what she did. She was
Stronger than I could have been.

This book!!! It was and is everything!! This cub has definitely learned from and I will say surpassed his father! If you thought Noah was 😍😍😍 then you are in store for a wild ride with Theo!! Wow what a great story this was. Theo the all American football college student and then there is shy quiet girl Bexley. These two together made me all giddy. This book tho brought out all the feels, so much happens to this couple that we can obviously tell were made for each other.

Every new V. Theia book I'm sure it's my new favorite. Manhattan Storm is now my favorite!!! I fell so hard for Theo and Bexley and their gorgeous yet heart hurting book. It has all the emotional range you want from a NA. And I was living for every page turning word. I loved the look of Theo we got in Taboo love Duet and I fell so much harder for him in his own book.
Those Fierro's are some amazing family.
Can't wait for the siblings books and I hope we see more of Theo's bro's.
I'd recommend to anyone who loves the sports romance trope (but it isn't a sports romance, not really, it's so much more with a surprise thrown in) And who has ever wanted to have their fantasy lover come to life. And who loves HEA and dreamy heroes who can love, forgive and live each day as if it were their last. I love the message this one gives. It's never too late to accept love back in our lives, no matter the sacrifices we might have to make for those we love.

This was my first foray into the From Manhattan series, but I'm a longtime fan of the author, so I just knew I'd love this story regardless of being introduced to the series late. It looks like I started with a great one, though, because Theo Fierro is everything a girl swoons over! The college football king meets his match in tiny art nerd Bexley and they have a whirlwind romance that culminates in one heck of a storm that Theo gets thrown into. And then we get to see Theo grow and mature and live his life in a way that we don't get to see in many romance novels. I'm used to reading most romance stories from the female's perspective, but here we actually get more of Theo's story instead of Bexley's, which is different and refreshing. Theo is presented with a "problem" that literally changes the course of his life, and we also see how he struggles with his feelings for Bexley at various stages of his life, both during their college years and afterward. I promise that you will never meet a hero like Theo and you will never meet a female character that you love to hate and hate to love as much as Bexley. Overall, the story deserves more than 5 stars because it's so raw and so realistic. The author did an absolutely fantastic job in bringing these characters to life and I cannot wait to see what's in store for the next Fierro sibling.

If you are looking for a book filled with love, steamy scenes, a football star that falls hard, a skeptical h that needs to be won over and an emotional roller coaster ride that needs a box of tissues THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!! Theo Fierro has it all the King of football at Clemson he is well liked, well loved and well on his way to a great future. But one night Bexley crosses his path and Theo finds himself drawn to her in way that won't let go. Working to prove he's more than a player football star, Theo finds himself falling in love. But Bexley is a hard girl to catch and once he does they seem destined for forever until they aren't. I knew after reading the prolong to expect it but V. Theia caught me off guard and I didn't seem it coming. Nor did I realize how she would do it, WOW, all I can say is that I was surprised, shocked and heartbroken. Not many authors still manage to give us an unexpected twist but V. Theia does and does it well. Thank you for ripping my heart out and then putting it back together. Loved this book and highly recommend it all.

Manhattan Storm gives you all the angst, emotion and sexiness that we have come to love in this series. In this book we meet Theo, the oldest cub to the Lion and his Kitten. We get to see him as a young man and watch him grow into adulthood. We get to go through his successes, pain and joy. We get to watch him meet his love, Bexley and once again experience that fierce Fierro bonding.
The world building in the Manhattan Series is incredible. You feel like you are part of a real family. This writer is a one click author for me and reading her work while looking for all the hidden gems is part of the fun. I love Pretty Woman!

I loved the first part of the book. It was the beginning of their relationship. Theo was definitely sweet and persistent. He knew he wanted her and went after her. I liked Bexley, she was no wilting flower. They were great together. The second part wasn’t my favorite. I didn’t like how she left him. She had her reasons but I hate when a H takes that decision from the h so I can’t like it that a h did it to the H. But she was young and scared. It’s hard to hate her. I also get where Theo was coming from. He was hurt and angry. His life got flipped upside down too. The reconciliation was not dragged out. It was resolved pretty quickly but it felt a little unrealistic. The ending felt a bit rushed. But I am glad they got their HEA.
Glad this was told in both points of view. No OM/OW drama. Separation lasted about 2 years with both being faithful.

This book had a great, original, unexpected twist that had me reading under my desk at work. V Theia has become the master at that sudden twist that leaves you gasping wondering what the hell is going to happen next. I enjoyed the fiery love between Bexley and Theo. I love how the Manhattan world has expanded so you get peeks at all the side characters you were curious about when you read Sena and Noah's original story. It can be read as a stand alone but you will enjoy it and appreciate it even more if you read the original Manhattan duo. 5 stars

You'll laugh hard, get sucked into the storm, cry harder and close this book believing in the power of love and the truth of happily ever after, after a lot of heart ache, soul searching and work. I could not put this book down and I will hold all future love stories to the example Theo and his queen have now set. This is the epitome of an epic love story.🌟

Theo and Bex will make you sigh at their cuteness, cry with them, and love them at the same time. Theo is a football player until something happens to take that away. He meets Bex, the artist that thinks he's out of her league, and the chemistry is off the charts. Football is Theo's love but Bex is the woman that he can't forget. Bex had to do what she did and I hated it but understood. Oh the heartbreak for them both. This was a great read and can be read as a standalone within the series.

I absolutely LOVED this book! OMG, I knew I would love Theo Fierro after the small sneak peek from the Taboo Love duet ( his parents books) but I didn't know I'd be a panting wreck for that adorable guy.
It was exactly what I needed and everything we love! Talk about swooooon! This book hit all the right spots. Hot, dirty, possessively charming hero. A heroine who can't resist him despite having a lot of obstacles that stop her living her best life. I loved their courtship and how they fell in love and then when we get to part two, I loved the book even more!!
Chicken in a basket, the boy could kiss my socks off and I’d thank him for my bare feet being cold.
NA meets contemporary romance. I kind of loved the jaw dropping moment, I won't spoil but it is goooooooood. I'm glad the subject matter wasn't focused on and the author absolutely keeps it to these two characters getting their second chance at love.
Can I have Lachlan's book now?? I was so intrigued by Theo's younger brother.
Brilliant writing and storytelling. I was completely engrossed and already itching to read again and soak Theo Fierro is for the KING he is!!

Well V you’ve done it again! How many guys can I fall in love with? I finished the book in less than a day. OMG do I love Theo! He may be a momma’s boy, but he has his dad's dirty mouth, sex drive and alpha ways. Lion Jr. I loved how Theo stepped up to be a fantastic dad to Mia.
I know guys get overwhelmed having to buy their girls monthly girlie stuff but reading about Theo walking up and down the baby stuff isle is hysterical. #Nippleguards who knew?
When Bex left I wanted to hunt her down and strangle her. Then the truth comes out and I cried for her and Theo.
A favorite line from Bex "it's too late to lock the barn door because my horse has bolted.” had me laughing out loud.
