A nice little story of a broken family and how it all falls apart when the carnage symbiote comes knocking on your door! Great, great artwork!

Honestly, this whole story could have been summed up in a single page with some text boxes. There was no need to make a one-shot comic based on this.

Since when were the Life Foundation symbiotes evil? I actually remember when they first appeared in comics in the 90s and they tried to be semi-heroic. I remember when Donna went nuts and killed the others. Even at the time, I was baffled about why people thought the symbiotes would die from what she was doing (I remember that she stabbed Agony), and not just the human hosts.

The Life Foundation symbiotes have gotten short shrift ever since. They were barely remembered to create the character Hybrid, who had potential. Then they were wasted in a Deadpool comic (blegh). Now they're shown terrorizing a family and murdering people. I guess their long history of trauma and forced integration could have driven them insane, but still.

Lame.

Absolutely amazing. Brian Level’s art is incredible. Has the feel of a classic Halloween horror story—really digs into the body horror implicit (but often avoided) in the symbiotic stuff.

This is the best of the spin-off Absolute Carnage titles going right now. Genuinely new.

A classic horror feel to this but the premise was pretty underwhelming from the start and none of the characters were charming or interesing.

One of the weaker ones I didn't really care for it at all

Another solid issue from Chapman. I loved the suspense of the story; it paired so well with the art.

I loved the story, but the artwork not so much. Another great addition to the Carnage story!

I love this gnarly little horror comic. I have no background with the lesser-known Symbiote characters so I can't speak to their portrayal, but on its own merits this was a great thrill.
