This book was very well written with a mix of reality, truth, and love. I would say that this book would be geared more toward couples who are already married as the lens was through trying to support married couples or reconcile marriages. Although, it was still a great read with plenty of lessons to take into the future!

As a divorcee who went to extensive pre-martial counseling, this book offers so many valuable insights that I think will help me and many others be better people and partners if blessed with another opportunity. It is practical, relatable, inspiring and an easy read, but ind you will want to savor - and take lots of notes!

Very comprehensive and holistic manual on marriage. Even after 25 years of marriage I learned some things!

Sadly, this 25th anniversary edition needs some editing. I found several glaring typos and mistakes. But despite all that, a great book to add to your spiritual/marriage book library!

Great Book for All Couples

If you just got married or have been together for 33 years, this book helped me refocus some areas I was failing in. Any stage of a relationship has its issues. It takes hard work, desire and love to recognize you have areas to improve. This book in plain terms tells you how to do that. It helps you better understand what your spouse needs. Divorce destroys so much and as I’ve seen with my Mom who has been divorced three times, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. I almost blew my marriage big time. By the Grace of God and a forgiving wife, we are now BROKEN TOGETHER and in November will celebrate 33 years together. Read the book!

Wow what a powerfully awesome journey in reading this book. The transparency of the author is truly a blessing of how God can heal your the wounded. I’ve had to privilege to learn from many word of wisdom through many different books, seminars, retreats and the like. But the information within this treasure chest entitled “Marriage on the Rock” is uplifting and inspiring to read. From start to finish, you will be encouraged to trust God and live according to Him purpose in life and marriage. One of the best books I’ve had the pleasure to digest. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking ways to enrich your life and marriage. Awesome!
