DNF - at 60%, no less - because I just can't do this anymore.
Piper forgave the boys way too easily, and their transition from hating her to wanting to protect her was just way too unbelievable.

At the end of Book #1, we read as Jackie stormed with Piper 2.0 into Stan's office and had her reset as the first replacement Piper was nowhere like her daughter. When she returns, the boys notice that she is different and is acting a whole lot like the OG Piper which isn't the one they have all fallen head over heels in love with. She is also excluding Macie who was the only one from the beginning that befriended her. With access to her previous logs, can Brennan hack into her memories or give her access to read the logs and hopefully that will spark some of the Piper they had fallen in love near the end of Book #1 back. Of course though if Piper isn't careful, then Jackie might just realize that she has some of her 2.0 memories back and have her reset once again? As every time Piper is reset she loses herself from the present moment. Book #2 was all about getting Piper to fall back in love all over again with Tyler, Jude, and Brennan as well as trying to juggle two sides of her personality - the one Jackie wants and the Piper she wants to be. What happens though when Piper pushes it too far and Jackie catches her in the pool, seeing as that's how the OG Piper was killed? Can the boys save Piper from another reset or will the Piper they love have her memories wiped and buttons reset once again? Find out in Book #2 of The Thorns of Rosewood Series by Cassie James and Christine Kelsey. Book #2 also ends on a Cliffhanger moment.

Gahhhh. I’m in love with these books and I didn’t even think I’d like it. The first book, The Replacement, really had me reeling—mainly because I couldn’t wrap my mind around the fact that Piper wasn’t really human but AI. She grew on me though with her sweet personality that sometimes showed how strong and fierce she could be.
This starts off where The Replacement left us—Piper has been reset and made to be much different than Piper 2.0. But the thing now, is that while this new Piper is closer to the original Piper, it doesn’t take long before The Pricks are trying their hardest to bring back 2.0.
The romance was awesome and I’m glad to see Piper and the boys becoming closer in their own ways. Now if you remember from the first book, she’s not equipped for monogamy. She’s into polyamory and all she needs now is for the boys to be accepting as well.
I enjoyed this very much and I love the characters. I’m so ready for the next book and hopefully I don’t have to wait too long!

This is the second book I’ve read by Cassie, the other being the first book in this series. I’m blown away! I was obsessed with The Replacement and now I am far more obsessed with The Proxy!! The way Cassie keeps you guessing, maintaining your interest and makes you want more all at the same time is amazing. There was so much steam, and so many feels in this book. AND DONT GET ME STARTED ON THAT LAST CHAPTER!! I am not ready to talk about it yet hahaha. All in all, this book far exceeded any expectations I had and I highly suggest you read it! 10/10 would recommend 🖤

Also there isn’t ANY bullying in this one at all it’s all protective work as a team ... but with drama but it’s from outside the group.
These books are so so so addictive loving it !!

WOW! Another fantastic read by these amazing authors! I thought the first book was SO good there is no possible way book 2 could come close. I was wrong. It was EVEN BETTER. I LOVE the new Piper (3.0?) She was sassy like the original and had the soft & sweet side of 2.0. She stood up for herself but also had a kindness about her. I really liked Jude more in this book too. He wasn't such an ass. I loved his rough exterior. Tyler was the same doting boyfriend type and Brennan was just as enticing as the first book. I even love Macie. The mom...GEEZ I DO NOT LIKE HER. & I cant believe the books just leave us hanging like that! I hope the guys were listening in and can put a stop to Jackies craziness!!!! Or maybe this time Stan will actually have some balls to not reset Piper....UGH I cannot wait for book 3! Awesome series!!!

Great story: missing details tho
I will start with saying that this story has captivated me and not let me go since I started the books a day ago. I have fell in love with every single character in these books. Each one is unique and fascinating in their own way.
I found though that there were many questions left unanswered...how is she able to keep the Original Piper’s name and memories and the parents don’t make a big deal- fighting the contract? She wants to be her own person yet 3.0 still answers to Piper Hawthorne?
The tech questions are never fully answered - the reader just has to assume. How is she able to have a conscience, feelings, humor, and so many other human characteristics? She’s passed off as a learning AI which I get but that doesn’t make the jump to understanding empathy and such.
Sorry to be crude here but in all her check ups, the tech never really examines her vagina despite knowing thru her log that she has had multiple lovers. With her being used for sex so often why doesn’t he have to replace her juices which are used for sex ?
Her operations were never explained either: how can she have an orgasm, get wet, be turned on, etc. If she can do all that can she become pregnant?
There were so many questions surrounding this series that I couldn’t fully get pulled into the story because I was making a list of alll the small holes the author (and others) miss.

The first book ended with Piper being reset. In this book, she tries to play catch up despite the potential threat of being reset again by her mother.
Just like in the first one Piper fails to consider that if she just stopped acting like a brat, she wouldn’t have to pay the price.
Her desires are valid but how can anyone understand when she refuses to discuss them? I really wish she thought things through.

Okay, but, where is the part Piper gets revenge from The Thorns for all the terrible things they've done? Come on! The payback is the best part of these series! Can't believe she forgave them so quickly.

Not as good as the first book but still a quick read. I thought for sure Piper would’ve been a totally different personality with the reset but she kinda acted like the 2.0 version but not as clueless. I also wasn’t expecting her mom to be the “bad guy” in the book.

I’m insanely addicted to this series, the minute I open the book, I HAVE to keep reading it that’s how drawn in I am. I can’t even stop/put it down whatsoever cause I need to know what happens next!

After the cliffhanger of The Replacement, The Thorns meet the new Piper- and she is one more like the cold badass b*ch they knew before. They soon realise though, that you dont know what you've got till it's gone and they want THEIR Piper back. Piper is everything the best friends wanted, but will their competitiveness and jealousy drive a irreversible wedge between them? Will Piper choose between them?
Cassie is a brilliant author, with an incredible ability to capture her audience and draw them into the book and its characters. The Proxy is no different - I instantly loved this Piper, the bit of backbone that was missing from the meek and mild Piper of The Replacement. The boys POV are brilliantly written, you have a completely different style for each and without reading whose chapter it is you're able to work it out from attitude alone. Some super hot and steamy scenes in this book, as well as another jump-up-stomp-feet cliffhanger to end! 5*

Starting this book I wasn’t sure at all what to expect, was the new piper going to be a villain to 2.0’s story? Was she going to become the new queen bitch that everyone loved to hate? I went in wanting it reversed, and in the first couple chapters that desire is fed, until something changes, and the character development kicks things to a new level, when 3.0 learns what she has been forced to forget, she doesn’t simply revert back to square one, she forges a new path, while still maintaining the qualities that had The Thorns enthralled. This sequel built on the original storyline while adding a new layer, and I am very eager to see where things go from here.

It’s good
It’s a good continuation from book 1 but unfortunately for me it’s still hard for me to wrap my head around to what possible future the thorns can have with her, I mean come on she’s a AI a bloody computer, I know I know a bit harsh, (shake head) it’s just weird for real there is no future I just can’t see it and find it sad that. 3 sexy as hell guys fall in F**cking in love with a AI. The whole concept just rubs the wrong way with me. Going to read book 3 as I do want to see where this can possibly lead, since my curiosity is getting the bloody best of me. (Palm my face)

We pick up after The Replacement where Piper has been reset to a different Piper!! A Piper closer to Original Piper! I was afraid I wouldn’t like this Piper! As I’d grown to love the character from book 1 but I love this one more she’s a bit more tough and stronger! I guess what was maybe missing from Book1?! I loved getting the boys POV it felt like I got a better sense of their characters as well! I love that the boys didn’t realise how much they loved Piper 2.0 until she’d gone! The romance was so hot!! Warning! Another cliffhanger!!

Wow just when think it can’t get any better. I am in awe of this story it’s captured my interest in away I can’t example. The story is so unexpected but addictive.

It’s hard imagining an AI machine replacing a human in reverse Harem, but honestly u can’t help feel for Piper 2.0. It’s an usual read but I am 100% hook into this story now I need the next book.

This book it was so good she is a new author to me is starting to be one of my favorites.I loved the first book in the series so I knew I would love this one and I was not disappointed. Piper is such a badass!! The next book cant come fast enough!! I highly recommend this series 5 🌟 for me.

I was ready to hate this new Piper, especially since I loved 2.0 so much, but guess what? Now I love this version of her too! It was done in such a seamless manner, but in a realistic (as realistic as we can get with a living breathing humanoid) manner. Loved it! And I can't wait till we get the last book.

Cliffhanger of all cliffhangers!
This cliffhanger is going to be the death of me. The book was good. I preferred the drama and faster pace with the first book. I feel as though there was less action and scenes than with the first novel, but it is still amazing. I wish there was a 4.5 option for ratings!

More, just need more
Book 2 did not disappoint. Again the story pulled me in and did not let go. Poor Piper, she's just trying to figure her life out and things go good but of course there's always something. That cliffhanger has me all tangled and I cant wait to get to book 3 to see where this goes.

After where Book 1 left off I was was eager to get more and this book did not disappoint. Piper is strong and badass and the Thorns aren’t white sure what to make of this new Piper.

Unique and brilliant
This story sounds so far fetched at first but it is a genius story and the plot line just keeps getting better. Loved it and love how Piper continues to grow as her own person. Hoping for a very steamy 3 way next book!

So Addictive
This is the second book of the series, and it's amazing! It's a unique story that'll leave you craving more. I recommend for mature readers due to scenes of intimacy. Love love love.

What an amazing story. I love the Thorns and Piper. They all have such strong personalities. I can't wait to see what comes next. This cliffhanger left me on edge.

Just wow!!! I can’t wait to find out how all of this is going to be resolved!!!!! Piper 3.0 definitely deserves a happy ending and I hope the guys help her get it!!!!!
