Perfectly Wrong

He’s my best friend’s son.

That alone should be reason enough to stay away, but it’s not.

He’s fifteen years younger than me. I don’t care.

It was only one kiss, one taste, one night of stolen passion meant to be a secret.

Turns out, it wasn’t enough for either of us.

Is risking my friendship and altering the entire course of his life worth it for two people so perfectly wrong for each other?

We’re about to find out.

I love age gap stories and this one also has the bonus of 'He's my best friends son'. Perfect! This is a novella size story, I think, and the drama and angst makes it a lovely, passionate read, you can't help but feel for Tristan, torn between his love for his father and the love he feels for Bishop.

Love, love, love!🌟
Told over a few years, this age gap taboo story was so good I could not put it down. And the fact that Bishop and Tristan were so hot for each other ramped it up 💯.

The premise was excellently executed and even though Tristan's friend Trinity had me saying, who is this person? LOL, I enjoyed her role in the book. And Trist's dad. Man. I loved his eventual growth.

I am keeping this on my to be read again list.

5 star regardless. Loved it. Heat in the stratosphere!

story of Bishop and Tristan

This is a best friend’s son romance, featuring Bishop and Tristan, and is a standalone novella.

Bishop knows he shouldn’t touch his best friend’s son, but one night with Tristan turns into something he can’t walk away from. Torn between loyalty and love, he must decide if risking his oldest friendship is worth the chance at something real.

This was a great, fast paced novella with some insta-obsession, longing and secret hook ups. These two just could not stay away from each other.

Things to expect in this book are:
Standalone
Novella
MM romance
Best friend’s son
Age gap (34/19)
Can’t stay away
Hook up to more
Obsessed & jealous
Longing
Spicy times & dirty talk
Semi public s*x
Pierced c*ck
Secret relationship
Admit feelings
HEA

When Tristan meets his dad’s best friend, Bishop, he falls HARD. Bishop is intrigued by the sexy Tristan but knows he can’t act on his urges since the young man is his best friend’s son who is barely legal. Tristan seduces Bishop and they end up having an AMAZING time. Tristan goes off to college 2 days later and they occasionally see each other over the next few years and when they come together, they’re explosive. Tristan’s dad can see the interest between the two men and warns both of them off. They can’t seem to help themselves.

It’s a great, quick read with plenty of spice, however, it could have used a bit more relationship building.

POV… multi first person

Standalone or series… standalone in a multi author series

I liked this but I could have loved it. All the elements are there, the story just needed to be a little more polished. There were inconsistencies that pulled me out of the story. I wish the scene with Tristan, Bishop and Trinity was left on the cutting room floor, that was just weird, but the potential to be a really great love story was definitely there.

1st person POV Dual
Plot 3/5
Spice 3.5/5
Age gap
Dad's best friend

Tristan sees Bishop and lust at first sight! Nothing stops Tristan, he makes his intentions known from the beginning and doesn't let up! poor Bishop didn't stand a chance! they tried to keep it under wraps, tried to stay away from each other but they were just drawn together and when they were together they were explosive!

Also I loved Tristan's best friend, Trinity. She was super supportive and just amazing throughout this book! I loved the bond they have!

This is a fun and sometimes over-the-top story of a young, college-aged man, Tristan, who sets his interest firmly on Bishop, his Dad's best friend. At first, Bishop tries to resist, especially since Tristan will be away at college, but resistance is futile. Still, Bishop's best friend tells him he does not want him to get involved with his son. So, Bishop will try to keep his distance when Tristan returns for breaks from college. Is is possible to do so? We all know the answer to that question. Fun, light-hearted, high-heat reading with very nice HEA!

This was super hot and sweet at the same time. Tristan meets his dad’s best friend and is instantly attracted. Bishop tries to stay away, but the attraction is definitely not one sided. This takes place over a couple of years as the guys try to stay away and allow Tristan to focus on college. The scenes of them together were awesome, and I loved their growth as the book progressed. Trinity was a cool bestie. Loved her.

I really wanted to like this book as I’m a huge fan of father’s best friend/best friend’s son type thing. The writing style wasn’t my favorite and the whole thing was kind of corny. The dialogue seemed forced and fake in a lot of spots to me. I skimmed a lot because it was driving me crazy. Definitely needs some work in my opinion.
