A laugh-out-loud cozy paranormal romance. Ellery Winther has always been as refreshing as a cool glass of southern sweet tea. That's why the dead like her so much--and she likes them right back--but they're everywhere, and they won't. Shut. Up. Except for Carrow Holland--a family friend who disappeared without a trace--that witch ain't talking. To find her friend, Elle must accept help from an unlikely source--a witch from a rival coven. Tyr Stone is handsome, powerful... and her enemy's son. Can these star-crossed lovers find the vanished souls of Whisper Grove, or will they join the ranks of the missing?
Love all the books in this series, and I just love the title of this 4th book. It fits Ellery's character so well. She's sassy, southern, and not as dumb as some believe. And Tyre is perfect for her, even if he is from an enemy coven. My favorite book in the series, and the cliffhanger ending doesn't bother me at all because it's actually more like a prelude into the next book in the series.
Let me start by saying I absolutely love the Winther sisters and their attitudes!
Okay. So in Witch Please we get to know more about the weird word speaking Ellery. Elle is by far the sweetest and possibly smartest Winther sister. But don’t let her sweet demeanor fool you, she can have a wicked side as well!
Faced with impending doom surrounding the disappearance of Carrow and a weird guy continuously turning up where Elle is.
Definitely grab the first three and enjoy this fun ride into the strange world of the Winther sisters!
I finished all 4 of these books in just a couple of days. They are cozy paranormal books but they are also hilarious. The interactions between the sisters had me laughing out loud. I even learned some new curse words from this one. So far the series has gotten better with each new book. I highly recommend these and can't wait until the next one.
I get it. Sisters bicker. But this book had more time devoted to sisters bickering that it needed and it was enough to interrupt the flow of the book. Hardly anything important happens in the first half and most of the important stuff is all in the second half. The few pieces of important information that we do discover in the first half could have been handled much better. This is why such a short segment took me several days to read. The bickering was so annoying that I kept putting it down.
Really liking this series! I love pretty much all the characters. The storyline is simple and fun. I love easy reads like this that have a quirky and fun plot that doesn't take a lot of brain power.
Adult content, reader discretion advised. Elle Winther sees dead people. Tyr brings to light the real trouble the sister are facing. They accidentally fall in love. Starcrossed lovers fastened to never be together. It gets real in this book, and the sister and their beaus get front row view of the evil in their little town.
Really grabbed my interest immediately. Have been waiting for this book for some time. When the end came i was distressed because I wanted MORE! Can't wait for the sequel!!!!
