At long last, Yu can feel her relationship with Kurosaki-kun making some real progress after their Valentine’s Day connection—but she’s well aware that she and her bossy boyfriend are still far from on the same page, feelings-wise. Just as Yu psyches herself up to conclusively turn Kurosaki-kun’s head her way, the precarious pair is split up in the new school year’s class change! Even more worrying, the new transfer student—who happens to also be the prettiest girl in their grade year—has her sights set on Kurosaki-kun, and she’s willing to push much harder than the Black Prince’s usual fangirls. But Yu’s biggest surprise might come from Kurosaki-kun himself. Does the notorious Black Devil have a sweet side…?!

I really hope this series ends and ends well. I don’t like dragged out series, but we are only on year two I think? 3, want to see the light at the end of the tunnel, stars.

Kurkosaki-kun, man you are a'changing

We get to see all kinds of great stuff in this book. Yu-Chan steps up and makes her move, and Kurkosaki-kun is showing his soft, loving, and yes, possessive sides. We even get a look at their first white day. We meet a new enemy and see an old one return. Also, we get to see the more vulnerable side of the White Prince.
The only thing missing is the cat. Where is the dorm cat?

I devoured all 19 volumes of Defying Kurosaki-kun over the last week. This is a beautiful story of Yu and Haruto's relationship as it grows from nothing to sweet romance. Haruto's always been a loner except for Takumi who's been his only friend until Yu comes into his life. The story is about the relationship between Yu and Haruto but Takumi is such a intricate part of the story.

I really loved Yu as a character she's this bright ball of sunshine who's reinvented herself now that she's in high school and growing so much into this character you just cheer on. Haruto is cold and demanding in the beginning but we get to see him slowly start to grow as the series progresses. He builds friendships, reconnects to his family and he learns so show Yu how much she means to him.

I truly enjoyed the series even if I had a few moments where I wanted to reach through the book and stab Haruto for being stupid. it's a whirlwind sweet love story that I'm so sad to see ending. I wish that this series wouldn't have ended because I wanted more of Yu and Haruto's story. I wanted Takumi to find his happy ever after too. I do hope maybe one day we will get more. This is one of my top favorite series. Highly recommend if you are a fan of the grumpy/sunshine trope it fits really well. The artwork is beautifully done. I loved it so much the whole story.

Really Loving the New Girl

She's a lot more grounded than I thought she'd be. I'm really hoping she'll end up with someone nice by the end. Honestly though, I thought she may have been the "new prince" in disguise. I don't know what I thought was going to happen but I didn't stop gripping onto my tablet until it was confirmed that that wasn't the case haha

Still a cute manga. Wish the MC wouldn't lower herself to the black princes commands though. At points it looked like she'd grow more of a backbone but she's kind of reverted. As shoujo fluff it's fine, and the parts where she wants him to notice her more and she's working towards that is also fine. Otherwise I'm still a bit annoyed by her acting like his dog, really eager to follow his every command without any fight. I just want to shake her like, "stand up for yourself! He doesn't actually own you and I'm tired of him talking to you that way!" But what can you do, you know?

Kurosaki is so bipolar yet I love him! I also love the White prince for directly saying his dislike to that sadako looking gurl. Don’t like her. She seems sus. Takumi aka White Prince had my respect. He made the right decision although i want to give him a hug too. My poor boy.

Kurosaki’s being less sadistic towards Yu… Nice… But now we have Aida (annoying biatch) and asswipe (dude who followed Kurosaki to this school) to deal with… DRAMA YAY. Kurosaki sure hates people but attracts them at the same time lol

Manga carino, senza pretese, piacevole da leggere per passare del tempo anche se fino al volume 9/10 avrei dato volentieri una botta in testa a entrambi i protagonisti.
