This review relates only to Greed (A Slivered Realms Novella) by Kandi Vale. There are may wonderful stories by wonderful authors here and I will surely be back at some point to read them.
*Greed
This is an amazing new story situated in one of the Slivered realms with a new set of characters. I have to mention that this story can be read on its own, it is not BDSM related like the trilogy and it is a why choose romance. In other words, completely different and new for this author, and she excelled in it, which is not a surprise, considering how amazing she is. And the best part is that she tied it up so nicely with a couple of Slivered characters that the story becomes quite interesting for the hard core fans of Slivered as well.
The main character is Ava, a thief of pretty shiny items, because she can't help herself. Having her pretty shinies is a basic need for her, like breathing. Until one day she steals the wrong thing from the wrong people and her life gets turned upside down. She suddenly becomes the most wanted person in the realm.
Midas, Rame and Ody have their own reasons for wanting to retrieve the item, however, what happens when they meet is completely unexpected for all of them. There are several side characters who are incredibly interesting, and the realm itself is interesting as well.
And although the story has an ending, it still gives a wonderful comfort to all the Slivered fans that just because the trilogy is complete, does not necessarily mean that the author is finished with the world and the characters. I loved this story so much and I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next.

Anthologies are my kryptonite, the mix of authors and different writing styles I can never get used to, especially if they’re just previews. This one is a collection of 7 RH stories focusing on the seven sins. I enjoyed it.

Pride is the first story. A healer and three men. Despite being short it is a complete story with multiple POVs. No sex in this one. Has a village/shaman feel to it. 3 stars.

Sloth is a fun one. A girl with lucid dreaming that’s more than it seems. Steamy fun with three guys and a little past trauma drama. 4 stars.

Envy reads more like a fairytale. A cursed princess ordered to kill a king and only her soulmates can break it. I liked the guys. Feels a little enemies to lovers. 4 stars.

Death Dealers (wrath) I enjoyed the plot and the guys but it was either the writing style or MC I couldn’t get along with. The guys themselves are a nice mix of supernaturals which made the story unique. Feels longer than the rest and open for continuation. 3.5 stars.

Glorious Gluttony is the funniest of the bunch, with the most sex m/m and f/f relationships. MC demon who constantly eats and has a few curves. I loved all the characters and would happily read more of this one. 5 stars.

The irony of lust is the most awkward and the one I’d say was more YA. One virgin and three guys. Multiple POVs. Needs a spell check. Low 3 stars.

Finally Greed. A pirate dragon and three griffins. What’s not to love. Loved the story loved the characters, saltos not so much. 5 stars.

Just wow, a must read collection!

I was so blown away by this anthology. Each story was a unique adventure and introduced me to so many authors that I haven’t read before. After reading each story I would think ‘this is my favourite’, so it was definitely a #whychoose moment for me.

The world building and character development they all manage to work into these short stories is actually mind boggling. I would love for all the authors to be interested in continuing these characters in larger works as I’m firmly in love with them!

I received this as an ARC and OMG, it was amazing. I absolutely loved every story especially Kandi Vale's and Lucy Roy's. The way each author's character encompassed their sin was a huge plus. Every author's story was different and intriguing but brought the 7 deadly sins to life in a new and twisted way.

I don’t normally go for anthologies because I’ve found that I don’t usually like enough of the stories to make it worth reading. Not so with leaving Eden. Every single story was good. Some were great and star rating has a narrow range of 4-5 with more being 5 star. So I’m taking the time to review all 7. Here goes:

Pride - Petra J Knox
Wow. I loved this story. I’ve read some of Petra’s other works, and she is a master storyteller. Lyra was such a fun character to read, fully living up to the title of this story. I enjoyed watching her experiencing the Wastelands and it’s inhabitants. Petra wove a deeply emotional tale of pride, discovery, caring and love.

Dream My Way - Serena Lindahl
This story grabbed me and yanked me in so fast I barely knew what hit me. I’ve never read this author, but now I’m going to look up her other books. Aislynn represents the sin of sloth in this story. She pulls the men in her life into her dreams and is quite different from her waking self. Reese, Nash and Devon find themselves part of her dreams and adapt at varying speeds of acceptance. Aislynn thinks she’s just dreaming, but is she? This one was my favorite because of the dream aspect and I hope there’s more.

Emotional Envy - Lucy Roy
Charmaine has made a deal with an evil witch and is now forced to do her bidding. There’s only one way to break the curse, can she do it in time to save her niece from a date worse than death? This was an interesting reverse harem story and the first I’ve read involving brothers.

Death Dealers - Emma Cole
This one was harder to get into at first because of the complexity of the world that the author was building. Ultimately, it was a good story that I found myself turning the pages as fast as I could read to find out what was going to happen next. And then it ended on a bit of a cliffhanger! I hope there’s more because now I’m invested.

Glorious Gluttony - Lexie Winston
This story made me laugh. Glory the Gluttony demon was truly a loveable creature. I also loved her sister Serena, Aria, Zoe and the guys. Oh my, the guys. Hot hot hot.

The Irony of Lust - Kelly A Walker
Lusa is lust and not very happy about it. Guys think they’re in love with her, girls hate her and she thinks she’s going to end up alone. Little does she know she’s got three guys in her future. This was a charming little story that felt like it could have been longer.

Greed - Kandi Vale
Okay, I have to be honest, Kandi’s story is the whole reason I got into this anthology. That’s not to say I didn’t find new authors to read (because I totally did), but Kandi’s writing is so darn good it’s practically gold and not to be missed. Greed was no exception. Ava is a fascinating, feisty little thief who meets her match in triplicate in this story and I can see a whole series coming out of this. Loved this world!

This collection of 7 deadly sins stories is definitely worth a read.  I love Kandi Vale's Slivered Trilogy so snapped this book up, the added bonus was it came along with the opportunity to check out six more authors!!  Each author takes a sin and tells a tale based on that sin.  I wasn't sure what to expect with it being a Reverse Harem collection, all I can say is - it was EXCELLENT. The short stories themselves didn't feel rushed and each one is very different to the next.  Leaving Eden is filled with Eden references... can you spot them all?

Pride - Petra J Knox
A beautiful story set in Eden telling the tale of a beautiful priestess with a healing power to cure the Wildlands people of an odd sickness sweeping the land.
Dream My Way (Sloth) - Serena Lindahl
Personally as I suffer from sleep paralysis this story captured me completely - I wish I had Aislynn's ability not paralysis!!! Fabulous premise.
Envy - Lucy Roy
Clever plot with a witch, a cursed Princess, an evil King, a fae prince and three handsome heroes.  I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Death Dealers (Wrath) - Emma Cole
The story of Wrath was fast paced and full of surprises, I love a good mystery and a new word - squiggy - made me chuckle.
Glorious Gluttony - Lexi Winston
Oh this story had me laughing out loud and freaking my cat out in the process.  This tale of gluttony was brilliant, I loved the fact that the gluttony was not a bad thing!
The Irony of Lust - Kelly A Walker
Steamy and so many Eden references - I read this so quickly as you just have to know what happens!
Greed - Kandi Vale
A pirate and her shinies - Kandi does it again, swept me up, up and away.  The plot was excellent and the cameos of a couple of favourites from Slivered made me want more!!!!

Great Collection!!

Leaving Eden is a fantastic collection of stories. I was familiar with some of the authors before reading, and a few were new to me. I loved the themes and full each story was a well-written example of its theme. I love when I find new authors to read, so that was a bonus for me. I highly recommend this set!

Seven sins. Seven stories. Seven fantastic authors. One hot book!

Pride (Petra J. Knox) follows Lyra on her journey through exactly that. Traveling outside her comfort zone, I loved going through that with her. I haven’t read Petra’s work before, but will look for it now.

Sloth (Serena Lindahl) has a very unique take on dreams. Aislynn has dreams that are very vivid. When her dreams effect her reality, oh boy. I really enjoyed the flow of this story.

Envy (Lucy Roy) is where we meet Charmaine and her curse. Trying to do for yourself can have unexpected consequence. But in trying to right that wrong, we get to enjoy a very, very steamy …...um, ride. Not the ususal YA I know from reading her other books. And that is ok with me!

Wrath (Emma Cole) is Retta. Literally. I found the premise fascinating, though got a little confused. This short story I would have liked to see as a full novel, giving more time to understand it. Given that, it was creative and, as per the theme I found, hot!

Gluttony (Lexie Winston) introduces us to demon kind. Glory is a foodie, not so diffenent than many humans, other than the demon thing. She finds her place in this world though. In a very enjoyable way.

Lust (Kelly A. Walker) is Lusa’s story of finding her mate. Will she find someone to dull the effects of lust on others? It was fast moving, a little fast for me. I did enjoy it and will probably re-read it.

Greed (Kandi Vale) is Ava’s story. My favorite of the sins (story not the sin). I absolutley love how Kandi wove charcters from her trilogy into this tale. Ava is set in her ways and enjoys who she is. Except for what she never allows herself. The characters are ones I’d want to get to know better, which is a great connection for me to the story.

All in all, a very entertaining, sinfully good read!

MUST, MUST, MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!! This book was AMAZING. So many stories so full of incredible characters and authors it blew me away I CAN'T RECOMMEND IT HIGHLY ENOUGH.
SOME OF MY FAVOURITE AUTHORS ARE FEATURED IN THIS BOOK. KANDI VALE, PETRA J KNOX AND SO ON. THESE STORIES ARE ALL DIFFERENT, EACH AUTHOR HAS GIVEN THEIR BEST AND IT IS WORTH THE READ. I AM NOT BIG ON ANTHOLOGIES, BECAUSE USUALLY THEY ARE HEAVY TO READ AND HARD TO REVIEW. ALL OF THESE STORIES WOULD GET A 4 TO A 5 STAR FROM ME, BUT I PARTICULARLY LIKED KANDI'S STORY GREED!!!!!! KANDI IS ACTUALLY THE REASON I READ THIS ANTHOLOGY IN THE HOPE THAT I WOULD FIND MORE AUTHOR'S TO FOLLOW AND I DID!!!! OH KANDI: YOU'VE DONE IT AGAIN........ CHARACTERS I CAN RELATE TO AND GET INTO, YOUR WRITING IS (AS ALWAYS) ADDICTIVE, YOUR WORLD AND THE CHARACTERS ARE FULLY ROUNDED, I JUST LOVED IT.

I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
i have figured out from reading these that i am not a short story reader, i only enjoyed 3 of the sin stories, Pride was my favourite, and the plot line i thought would make a great full story, then Envy and Gluttony, gluttony made me laugh, but those were my top 3.
sloth i didnt enjoy, i found it a little far fetched, and it seemed rushed.

Pride by Petra J Knox: I really liked this story. I felt like it was different for this author. I love everything she writes, this is no exception. It’s much tamer than I expected but I really liked the main character and where she comes from. I liked her confidence and her slow building connection to the men. The men had a great connection between them and a great story. I hope this is expanded on, I feel like there’s so many wonderful things to come.

Seven Sins and seven fantastic authors, I love Kandi Vale so this was a fantastic addition for me. Ava is a fantastic character and wow what a pirate she makes but she takes something from the wrong people and becomes the most wanted person in the realm. We also get to meet a couple of people we have already meet in kandi Slivered Series this is a fantastic read and one you will want to read

Leaving Eden tells the tale of the 7 Deadly Sins but each story is quite different to one another and does not necessarily connect to one another.

Pride

It tells the story of a healer priestess who was sent to a primitive place by their leader in order to help the sickness that has been plaguing their people. There she meets their leader, second and the third commander. Lyra is a beautiful, stubborn and prideful person but she has a caring her heart. She has attracted the attention of these three men and vice versa. However, Lyra has to make a decision in the end if she stays with them or go back to her people after her mission.

Dream My Way

Is about the female character having intimate dreams of 3 men. One is her professor, landlord and childhood friend. She isn’t aware that her dreams are connected to the men but the men had an inkling of one of them being real. The end is when they meet each other in order to protect her from danger.

Envy

I really like this story. Charmaine made a bargain with a witch in order to save herself not knowing the consequences and that she would need to do what the witch commanded. She apparently has 3 guys who are in love with her but they felt betrayed when she made the bargain. Also, the only way for her curse to be broken is for her soulmates to save her. She also needed to save her niece.

Death Dealers

I find this story a bit complicated. Retta’s story sort of ends with a cliffhanger. I feel that their story isn’t over yet.

Glorious Gluttony

I find this story hilarious. Gloria is a glutton demon and has a twin sister who is a lust demon. Apparently, they have fated mates. Gloria met her mate by crashing a wedding which she and her sister normally do. Not knowing that she would be meeting her fated mate or mates. Although this is no regular mating as her mates are mates to one another as well.

The Irony of Lust

The title is aptly named as Lusa maybe the sin of Lust but she is far from being what Lust should really be. This is also a quick read and her mates accepted her quickly despite their relationship being unconventional. Also, you wouldn’t expect them to be lust at first sight but something deeper. Her mother is quite a funny woman as well.

Greed

I like how there is a pirate theme with magical shifters. I think there could have been more to the story. Ava having an affinity of a Wyvern while meeting the guys who has the affinity of a Griffin. Both are mythical creatures, however, it seems that they couldn’t shift until a certain condition has been met. There is also a council in their world which I find interesting and I’m curious if they are the bad guys and also about the realm which the guys’ adopted mother mentioned.

Pride is based in an interesting setting. Not modern at all. Lyra is a healer. One of the best. So when one is needed to leave and travel to the Wildlands, of course Lyra is chosen. The people of the Wildlands are sick. It's spreading quickly and Forus Adon is in over his head. Adon, his second Jonah and his commander Leon are at a loss for solutions. He reaches out for help and he gets Lyra. Can they all set their pride aside and accomplish their goals or will it cost them everything?

Now this is in an anthology so of course the stories are shorter. I really enjoyed this one though. You still have plenty of story to read and hold your interest. You still have a chance to connect with the characters. The heat level in this one was very low. We have more of a problem to solve and just watching the relationship develop along the way. All in all I give this one a solid 4 stars.

Aislynn has always had some pretty intense dreams but ever since a traumatic even in her life, they have felt more real than ever. With things in reality crumbling around her, she finds herself wanting to escape to her dream world more and more. Especially since she gets to control how those dreams play out and she's found some interesting men in her life to dream about. What happens when your dreams start blurring into reality though?

I wasn't sure what to expect with the sin of Sloth. I couldn't imagine Sloth really being sexy or attractive on a female. Serena did a great job with this though. Aislynn isn't just a slob. She's dealing with a lot and her depression is weighing her down into her sloth tendencies. She's finding it hard to focus and find the energy to do things. Which is understandable when you learn her story. Nash, Reece and Devon are the men of her dreams and they don't have a clue as to what is happening with them. It's quite interesting this world of dreams vs reality.

Now this book does kick it up on the steam level. Which is expected when you are talking about dreams. Overall I really enjoyed this story and could have read some more of it.

I loved this collaboration by my favorite authors Kelly A. Walker, Kandi Vale, Petra J. Knox, and Serena Lindahl and three new favorites Lucy Roy, Emma Cole, and Lexie Winston. Leaving Eden is divided into seven stories written by each author about the Seven Deadly Sins, Pride, Sloth, Envy, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust and Greed. You are able to get a sense for the character personalities very quickly and are drawn immediately into each of the stories. This book is well written, fast paced, full of chemistry and entertaining. If you love fantasy, paranormal romance & reverse harem you will love this anthology. I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

I LOVED ALL THE STORIES IN THIS ANTHOLOTHY! I’m normally not a fan of anthologies simply because I end up not reading them. But, I read all seven of the stories in this anthology and I’m so glad I did as I’ve discovered a few new authors that I’ll be reading more of their books.

Each author’s story were very well written and I was drawn into each of the sins’ stories. If you enjoy reverse harem stories as well as fun and intriguing take on Sins, you must read Leaving Eden!

These stories were amazing. I'm not very familiar with RH stories, but I felt like these tales eased me into it. There is something for everyone, from true love and soulmates, to bonds with no physical intimacy. It was an easy read, between wedding plans, vows, and honeymoon travel, yet the stories were forever ending too soon.

All I can say is that I hope each author found something special in these stories and will one day gift us with a little more.
