New home promised a new start for Jacob and Katarina Calder, months following the eventful month they had and the near-ending to what was a good, solid marriage. Nothing can ever be easy or simple for Kit, as she a blast from the past returns to act as her protector, her angel of mercy. He watches over them, as well as her twin brother, Cale safe from the very woman who still wants this two dead - Sophie Wilson - who is back with a vengeance and a thirst for blood.
LD Wosar is a best selling multi-genre author, but writes predominantly PNR. She lives in Las Vegas where she soaks up the sun in the blistering heat…not really. She prefers to stay indoors and write….write…write, while listening to her vast collection of vinyl records.
This was a quick read, fun and great character interactions. If you can look past the few typos - the book is enjoyable. Kit Weston is a strong female but the villain, Sophie Wilson was twisted, evil but fun at the same time.
I am loving the tale of Kit, Logan, and Jacob. All the ends are coming together and looking forward to the next read in the series. Crossing my fingers for Skylar, and an end to the evil fiend S.
Katarina Calder is happily married to Jacob and making a new start. He gets her a job as a teacher, but her past won't leave her alone. Logan's wife Sophie is out for revenge and Kit receives unexpected help from the ghost of Logan himself.
