4.5 Honestly, I can't remember if I fully read all of the chapters. I'm pretty sure I skimmed at least one of them due to lack of time.. At least one (but I'm pretty sure a few of them) were fairly boring chapters due to being repetitive with questions. However, the rest of the chapters were very interesting and informed me about research and writing research papers.
Read for grad school. I liked the way the material was laid out and the stories with the students helped bring some context to the different chapter themes.
This book is all over the place, and really should be split into 3 separate books with better focus. It takes a general approach in some aspects and then a narrow approach to certain statistics and analysis. It just doesn’t work for me from an educational standpoint.
This textbook was unnecessarily cheesy and took a very long route to get to the main points. It did a poor job of helping the reader understand how to analyze and interpret data. It mainly reviewed how to calculate it.
