About the author

Jamie McGuire was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended Northern Oklahoma College, the University of Central Oklahoma, and Autry Technology Center where she graduated with a degree in Radiography.

Jamie paved the way for the New Adult genre with the international bestseller Beautiful Disaster. Her follow-up novel, Walking Disaster, debuted at #1 on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists in all four categories. Beautiful Oblivion, book one of the Maddox Brothers series, also topped the New York Times bestseller list, debuting at #1. In 2015, books two and three of the Maddox Brothers series, Beautiful Redemption and Beautiful Sacrifice, respectively, also topped the New York Times, as well as a Beautiful series novella, Something Beautiful. A few chapters or Abby and Travis’ lives after their elopement in the form of weekly blog posts on her website. I read this AFTER the rest of the series and loved filling in the blanks with the details Jamie provides. I hope Jamie continues with this once her project load lessens.

Años que no leo esta saga y ni me entero de nada relacionado a la saga, y de la nada me entero que habian capitulos sueltos ... mi corazón de quinceañera pide leerlos aunque sea una relación tooooooxica.

No me enteré que existía este libro hasta hace unos días, después de años de haber leído Maravilloso Desastre y me entero que hay libros en el medio, increíble. Esta cuarentena va a servir para releer toda la saga, y los que me faltan.
Amé volver a vivir la historia de estos dos intensos personajes, Abby y Trav. realmente son de los personajes que más quiero pq me acompañaron muchos años de mi vida, en todos los estados de ánimo, M.D. fue el libro que mas veces leí, siendo yo fan de releer libros, por más cliché que sea la historia (que a medida que avanza el libro nos muestra otra cosa). Es la saga, historia, al que mas valor sentimental le tengo, así que fue hermoso ver otra historia de ellos.
Ahora voy a por los que me quedan, incluyendo los hermanos Maddox

Mi idea de reelectura de los primeros libros me termino llevando a pasar la tarde leyendo y recordando que existía este libro.
Recuerdo haber leído al menos la primera temporada en Wattpad cuando salió, pero luego lo pasó todo a su página oficial 🤔. Esta bien como contenido extra y leer más de Abby y Travis, pero hasta ahí. Luego de la segunda temporada no siguió con la serie, pero esta entretenido. Son solo 17 capítulos

It was… okay
No le pongo dos estrellas porque me parece muy poco, pero al mismo tiempo tres me parece mucho.
La verdad que no leía a Jamie McGuire desde hacía años. No leía a Travis, Abby, Mare, Shep ni a ninguno del clan Maddox hace años, y me encantó poder estar con ellos un ratito.
Aunque a medida que avanzaba con la lectura re confirmé una y otra vez porqué JAMÁS podría estar con alguien como Travis; lo que no se puede negar es que es una historia entretenida, y más allá de lo que podamos opinar sobre la relación que tienen Abby y Travis, en sí lo demás no está TAN mal.
Me gustó que acá hayamos podido ver desde sus perspectivas el drama con Trent, Thomas y Cami (yo ya leí sus respectivos libros hace años también) y esta aversión o este no cariño que siente Abby por Cami hasta como después lo supera.
Si hay algo que rescato en toda la serie de Beautiful, es la hermandad que hay, estos lazos tan fuertes entre los hermanos Maddox y sus respectivas novias/esposas; y entre ellos y Jim. Es hermoso de leer, realmente. La relación entre Trent y Abby, por ejemplo. No son solo cuñados, son hermanos, así de simple.

Como dije, hace años que no leía nada de ellos, y en general fue una lectura ligera y que me saco bastantes sonrisas.

I read this on Jamie's website and loved the glimpses of Abby's and Travis's life after their wedding in Vegas. I'm so glad I realized this existed and was able to read it during my second re-read of the series. I think I realized it after I read A Beautiful Wedding and did stop when I got to certain parts in Trent and Cami's story, but I'm still so glad I found it. I highly recommend looking this up if you're a fan of the series.

A book that you can read in only 30 minutes I swear! It’s a glimpse of what happened with Abby and Travis second wedding day. Enough to fill you with them (if you miss them), but not enough to make you think that this is a really good mini novella

Mi ero dimenticata (cosa assurda dato che amo la McGuire) di averlo già letto.
Storia breve ma che chiarisce diversi vuoti presenti nei libri sia di Travis che di Trent; una storia intensa e molto toccante in molti punti di vista.
Mi è piaciuta davvero molto.
