TJ Logan is an award-winning author of romantic suspense anchored by strong themes of family, honor, and loyalty. Her writing journey began in 2012, when a bunch of strange voices popped into her head.
Hoping to exorcise the craziness, she started typing, which simply ushered in more—as if she’d cracked open some sort of portal for fictional characters to charge through. And boy did they ever!
She grew up in a military family, lived all over the country, and was surrounded by five brothers … and, shockingly, lived to tell about it. She was also a key member of a team that managed a secret program for one of the world’s top defense companies. All of these things have given TJ an interesting perspective on life. And every bit of it goes into her writing!
Family, Honor, and Loyalty aren’t just words in a tagline to TJ. They are everything.
Holy smokes! I loved, loved, loved Navy SEAL Jonathan O'Halleran (and his entire BIG family) but I especially loved how he perfectly matched NSA Interrogation Tactics Specialist Andrea (Andi) Swain. The author knows how to write strong characters who are still vulnerable for very good reasons, and wow, does she know her military, sharing knowledge in a very informational but *highly* entertaining way. Don't misunderstand. This was a romance in every aspect, fast-paced, sexy, riveting and action-packed. The military elements enhanced it all, but didn't take over. I'm ready to order the rest of the series! I need to know the stories for the rest of the O'Hallerans. Good stuff!
NSA agent Andréa Swain is loaned by her boss to OSI (O'Halleran Security International) to find the traitor who almost got one of them killed some time ago. She's the best, but even the best can hit a wall. Especially if that wall is made of muscle, stubbornness and mistrust, because he blames her for getting his friend killed back in Afghanistan.
I absolutely loved this one. It was light on the suspense (until the very end, and even that wasn't that suspenseful, since the motive was pretty much in the open from the start), but I didn't mind. I loved it for the main characters and the slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers-to-enemies romance.
Andréa was closed-off and prickly, her tough exterior hiding her vulnerable center (courtesy of her distant father), Jonathan was pretty much an asshole, hiding his feelings and his fears with anger and mistrust. A complete opposite of his two brothers (in the previous two books). With another heroine, the asshole shtick would not have worked and with another hero, her standoffish-ness would've been annoying. As it was, these two characters were perfect for one another, trusting each other with deep buried secrets despite keeping each other at arms length. It worked. It worked brilliantly, and even though the book was also light on the romantic scenes, the tension, the growing feelings between the two were palpable.
The supporting cast had just the perfect-sized roles to compliment the two leads and the story, the friendships were compelling, the interactions and relationships realistic and the family connections and feelings tangible.
Though it's the middle one in the series (supposedly), the loose ends from the first two stories were nicely tied up, closing off the mini-arc. Loved it.
In the beginning of this book, I really hated Jonathan O'Halleran. He's a complete asshole to Andi, blaming her for the death of a friend that wasn't really her fault to begin with, but he's incapable of listening to reason at that point. Once he stops his heavy drinking and deals with his grief, he gets somewhat better, but still treats Andi like crap because she didn't follow his orders (which led her to find the suspect they were looking for).
So, the writing is good, and I like the rest of the characters, but it really doesn't completely make up for the hero's frequent douchebaggery.
Back in the 90’s I couldn’t get enough of Sandra Brown’s romantic suspense books, and once I started reading DEADLY DECEPTION by TJ Logan, I felt right at home. The author provided all the wonderful feelings of a good novel that has romance, action, punch, and a great ending that bring this novel all the way home. Navy Seal Jonathan O’Halleran and NSA Interrogations Tactics Specialist Andrea Swain butt heads working together, yet they’re so drawn to each other. However, their stubbornness leads the way. Once they get their heads together, deal with their emotional baggage, and think about what they truly want, the action of this good romantic suspense novel takes place and there’s no stopping the sparks. DEADLY DECEPTION is the third installment of the O’Halleran Security International series, which can be read as a stand-alone or part of the series. I was very delighted with my first novel by this author, and I will definitely read the other books in this series.
When Andi Swain was pulled back to the states from Afghanistan she wasn;t happy. She specializes in breaking through lies an getting hidden secrets from unsuspecting enemies. When she met Lt.Commander Navy Seal Jonathan OHalleran he blamed her for his best friends death and three other members of his Seal Teams injuries. Now her boss was making her work for OSI to try an find out who setup his brother an their unit on a raid almost costing his brother his life.Jonathan wasn;t happy that she was there but had to let her do her job but she hated he had no faith in her..She refused to tell him the truth .Hes been in a dark place since he got back after being notified by the red cross that his wife was dead an his baby daughter was fighting for her life. His daughter was fine now but he was staying away from letting himself get close afraid hes lose her too.He was angry that his wife didnt tell him she was risking all to have a baby.Theres so many twists an turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see whats next by this multi talented author.

Third book in this wonderful series and once again it is a non stop thrill ride that has you turning pages as fast as you can
Jonathan O'Halleran a Navy Seal has had to take a discharge and return to villain life due to the death of his wife leaving his the single father of a daughter He has unfinished business though he wants to pay back the person he believes caused the death of his best friend. Andi has always tried to be the son that her father never had but she has never been able to measure up for him even though she is a top interrogator for the US military. Now she has been pulled back to help Jon and his family try to track down who betrayed then and in the process she will have to try to save his daughter Can these two let down the walls they have built around their hearts and do they have a future together You will have to read to see
Solid 4.5 star I really felt for Jonathan to beging with but boy did he turn into a douche around Andi I mean I get it but wowzer Andi is such a damn strong women but you know there is only so much she can take. Both Jonathan and Andi have deep running emotions and issues which neither want to acknowledge but its all going to come out whether they like it or not and we watch as this rumbling volcano of emotions between then and within themselves. If that isn't enough to keep me turning the page seeing how things unfold in regards to who was behind Jonathan's brothers shooting and the death of his dog is intriguing and shocking when it all comes to light! I can not wait for the next book in this series!!!

This is a truly emotional story. Of course I’m in love with this family of super hot brothers and there friends.
Andi Swain is sent in to find a traitor.
“Let me make sure I’ve got this straight.” Andi leaned closer. “You think O’Halleran Security International, one of the top security agencies in the world, an agency responsible for the creation of some of the most advanced surveillance needs my help finding who gave up the details of a secret FBI operation?”
Jonathan O’Halleran is not working in a good place after a tragedy. He and Andrea have knocked heads before. But there attraction is Undeniable.
“I want … ” Everything. You, Ashling, your family, this kooky town, my happily ever after. “Your skin on mine. Now.”
Angst, suspense and wonderful characters make this book a must read.
An action packed emotional story. Jonathan and Andi don't get off to a great start b/c he believes that Andi is responsible for the death of a friend. Jonathan's wife dies giving birth to their daughter and he leaves the military to raise her and work for his brother. Andi has had a difficult life. Her father wanted a son and she is a girl and her mother died during child birth. She was never good enough for him and she worked hard to impress him. She gets pulled back to the states to help her boss and Jonathan's family figure out who betrayed them and got his brother shot and his dog killed during a mission. Jonathon and Andi have to work together to find out what happen while fighting an attraction to each other. Another great addition to the series.
Enemies to lovers is my favorite because I love all the heated back and forth between characters. That is probably why this book is my favorite so far. I think Jonathan and Andi have the best back and forth banter. The O’Halleran family is working the case of who leaked the information that cases Caleb’s shooting. They need to tie up those loose ends once and for all. Now that Jonathan is back stateside, he’s heading up the case. Beck sends him some outside help and he’s non to happy when he sees who it is. The twists and turns in this book make for a great read. This is an engaging story that brought me to tears I was so wrapped up in the characters stories. Best one yet.
Deadly Deception is the third book in the O'Halleran Security International and I hope there are many more to come in this fabulous series. This story is fast-paced and action-packed but also heartbreaking and emotional as there are tragedies along the way. The characters are wonderfully developed and the storyline is excellent, with danger, intrigue, misunderstandings, suspense, and romance.
Do not miss this exciting series; each story is a page-turner! I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
Johnathan was the seal brother smart fast thinking nothing could bring him down, except his wife dying while giving birth to a premi baby girl. After find everything out Johnathan became angry and during this time he ran into Andi and remembering the past they shared made him a very angry man. Andi had a past and was a hard stubborn person. The past she had survived and the past with Johnathan made things tough, but in the end they had to choose what they wanted.
Absolutely loved this story. Johnathan doesn't trust And it because he believes she made an error that cost lives. And if doesn't trust anyone as she was raised to depend only on herself, she could not depend on her own family. Can they over come their issues to keep each have other safe and be one a family. Full of action, love, friends and family.

I like this author’s style of writing; I am always pulled into the story from the get-go and this book is no exception to that. I liked the plot and the characters were interesting, fighting the fact that they were drawn to each other. Ger comfy for a few hours of reading where you will not want to be interrupted!

Loved the story! Andrea is sent to help out at O'Halleran and ends up working with Jonathan who was a Navy seal and he blamed her for a bad op. Andrea enjoyed the O'Halleran's and did her job even with Jonathan making it difficult. Lots of twists and some mystery as the two finally get closer. Loved how strong a character Andrea was and enjoyed more of this series! Will be looking for more from this author. Loved it!
Jonathan suffered some serious life tragedies. He spends so much time wrapped up in his own misery he neglects his baby and hurts other people especially Andi.
Andi is a strong woman with a tough background. She takes a bit too much lashing out from Jonathan— forgives too easily. But they are good for each other and have a beautiful HEA!
There are a few inaccuracies that bothered me. But overall a good book.
Book three in the O'Halleran Security International series a well written story that kept me turning pages. This is NSA Interrogations Tactics Specialist Andréa Swain and Navy SEAL Jonathan O'Halleran's story there is suspense, drama, danger, villains, a sweet little girl, and romance. This was an awesome read. I loved that we got a kick butt heroine and a yummy hero. Although there were times I just wanted to smack Jonathan for his pig headedness. In all honesty I think I loved Andi more than Jonathan. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
This is the third book in the O’Halleran series and is Jonathan’s story. I loved watching Jonathan’s heart heal after such a loss. And I is an absolute firecracker and I love her. Loved, loved this book!!
The hero, the heroine, and his dick. Seriously, his penis had a life of its own. Half of the mention of his penis could have cut out. The plot is a good one, but the writing really sucks.
This book is as good as the first two books! I am so glad I bought the entire series. I love the characters! I can't wait to read the 4th book. I can assure everyone that these books will not disappoint!
I really liked the third book of this series with Jonathan and Andi. I think this series has a little bit of everything in it. Definitely a page turner.
