Within the event horizon, the bounds of time and space disappear. Everything that's taking place is happening outside the bounds of the visible – nevermore connected to time and space. In this collection, poetry and prose encounter each other in four planetary chapters and thus merge in a literary symbiosis.
I finished reading this poetry collection with a smile on my face. I felt such a sense of calmness. reading this collection felt very personal, as if someone had put into words and on papers some of my feelings. it made my experience even more pleasant.
this collection read so easily, not because the writing is too simplistic, but because every poem felt relatable in its own way. there was always something I could identify with or understand. by the end, it felt like conversing with a friend about life, sharing different opinions and experiences.
I have to say, the poems about outgrowing people were some of my favourites. but honestly, each part of this collection added something and had its purpose.I'm glad the author reached out to me and asked me if I wanted to read and review her poetry collection, because I had a lovely time!

This is probably one of the easiest modern poetry books I've ever read, and I mean this in the best way possible. So easy to understand and so easy to read you literally just flow through these poems and prose. So easy to feel and so easy to relate.
The authors has a beautiful way of writing and expressing her emotions. I loved that the "chapters" were named after the planets and that the mood of poems in them matched the planet. As someone who loves astrology, I loved this idea and found it super cool!
I loved the poetry (and most of all, the short stories!) from this gem! The author connects nature, science, music and deep thoughts about love in the most poetic way. It is so on point, I found myself and my very own feelings in so many of the poems. Dahi Koch describes the beginnings, the ups and downs and the end of love in a way everyone knows but would not be able to put into words. It is amazing, it made me think and reflect and it helped me cope with a lot of emotions. I highly recommend this beautiful poetry to book!
Beautiful poetry that touched my heart within just a line or two. Some texts reminded me of the style of Rupy Kaur and Courtney Peppernell. Others have Shakespearean tendencies (where the author uses unique and old words like "thee" and "solar") - the short prose pieces are also very moving.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves modern poetry!
Relatable book for everyone. I highly recommend it.
If you are looking for a poetry book that you could easily relate then never hesitate to grab one. This book will give you more butterflies in your stomach 🦋 it will take you to your Past, Present and Future (time and space travel poetry book 💛)
You know when you watch a movie and it fills your soul with so much happiness and confidence? When it makes you feel like you can take on the world after watching it? This poetry book did exactly that for me. It was so powerful and i FELT so much while reading it. It was as if my thoughts were put on a paper and i was reading them. It spoke to my soul. You need to read this book ASAP.
Let me start by saying that I don't read poetry, never had:I find difficult to follow the rythm and find meaning. But still wanted to read this book, and it didn't disappointed me. Dahi Tamara Koch writes about love and life, founding one another and losing too. It was very easy for me to read it, and I found that I understood and relate to the feelings she describes so beautifully. I truly enjoyed it, and will read it again.
Edit: Reread this today and absolutely touching and just as beautiful as the first time I read it! So so good!!
Note: The author provided me a copy of her book in exchange for an honest review.
“𝓢𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓽𝓲𝓶𝓮𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓼𝓲𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝓶𝓪𝓴𝓮𝓼 𝓪𝓷 𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓶𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓷𝓸𝓲𝓼𝓮." This was a very vulnerable experience and I almost felt some of the poems so deeply that it seemed like I was reading about my own life. Such an empowering collection of poems. I don’t read poetry often, but when I do, I really enjoy it. The author collects music, love, deep thoughts, nature, ups and downs of life in a very mesmerizing way. This gave me goosebumps and made me feel so many emotions in a very short period of time. The author has a very beautiful way to express her feelings, her writing style is so lyrical and her poems are so touching. I really enjoyed the short stories throughout the book but the poems are my favorites. Highly recommend this, it’s a fun and short read that everyone should read!
'Life is the never-ending story of searching for beauty.'
Dahi Tamara Koch has created beauty with this book. Her flowing verses take you on a journey through her emotions, her past, and her unique view of the world. You see heartbreak, depression, but also hope and joy. She bares it all, not holding anything back.
I generally don't review poetry, since it's so subjective, but Koch writes my favorite type of poetry- short, powerful, heavy-hitting prose. Short on words but heavy on feelings. But she also experiments; writing longer pieces that read like eloquent journal entries- similar to what you've experienced in your own life, but with new eyes and fresh feelings.
If you're a fan of Rupi Kaur or Amanda Lovelach, definitely give Dahi Tamara Koch a try! I am excited to see where she goes from here.
Thank you Dahi Tamara Koch for a free copy of this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I was sent an e-book version of this book from the author and asked to do a review! Thank you so much for sending me your book Dahi!
This book is a mixture of poetry and prose and I really had an amazing time reading it. I loved the anecdotal parts of the book, I feel as though it complimented the poetry very well! Love, self-belonging, travel, and self-discovery are just a few of the themes highlighted throughout this work and I will say that Dahi does a remarkable job! I’m going to share a few of my favorite lines here!
“Nostalgia makes the past dress up in prettier clothes than those the present is wearing”
“If love was a tree I’d plant you a forest”
“All that blooms must wither first”
These are just a couple lines that really stuck with me while I was reading, and Dahi’s writing is so well-crafted and beautifully constructed, it makes the entire book so so enjoyable. I throughly enjoyed this poetry and prose and I strongly recommend you read this! I think there is something in here for everyone who enjoys reading!

This is a beautiful, oh so pure, lovely and very intimate collection of poetry by Dahi Tamara Koch.
I feel like I've spent an afternoon with Dahi Tamara, drinking coffee and talking about her deepest dreams, wishes, loves and fears. Like really got to know her.
Most of the collection consists of romance poems that made me fall in love with her chosen one as well as some magic and soul-searching sprinkled throughout.
Lett me try explain to you how this book made me feel - like late summer afternoons, when the breeze blows the curtains and there's sunshine coming thourgh the window, while everything smells of fresh linen.
I'd recommend this book to all of you who love modern poetry 🖤🌙 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

"Silent Lies become whispered truths"
Within the Event Horizon by Dahi Tamara Koch will speak to you in a way that nothing ever has.
I have always believed that words hold a certain power, certain magic. And Within the Event Horizon is a perfect example of the magic that words can weave.
Reading her poems was like reading into my own mind and I am convinced that her poems will speak to everyone who reads them. Within the Event Horizon is one of a kind poem book, written over the span of 10 years by Tamara.
This has made the poems suitable for all. Everyone, from a young adult to an adult can relate to this book. Every phase of life, every phase of love- the poems capture it all. In fact, reading them makes you relieve those phases

4,5 This poetry book was beautiful. It is perfect to reconnect yourself with the here and now while at the same time you're lost in a dream. I finished it this morning and can't stop thinking about it, especially the Mars section. I found so many poems in this section that I could connect with which was a lovely surprise. The only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because I found myself not fully connecting to the Venus section, which is just a personal thing. Nontheless this poetry book is beautiful from beginning to end. And exactly what I needed to hear/read at the moment. A wonderful surprise.
I have always been a fan of poetry books and as soon as the author approached me with an e book version of this poetry book I decided to give it a shot.
I can honestly say that I don't regret reading it at all. This poetry book had me craving more and more with each page I read. I love the short stories but most of all the poems. The author really has a way of sharing her thoughts and emotions and delivering them to the readers. She uses metaphors and scenarios which you can either relate to or learn a good lesson or two from them!
I was on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and it kept me on my toes the whole time.
I highly recommend this book especially if you are into poetry.
Dahi Tamara has a wonderful writing style. In this book she connects different themes of nature, love, childhood and dreams. I especially enjoyed the connection of prose and poetry and how she divided the book into four planetary chapters. Some of her poems will stay on my mind for a long time. However there were also a few themes that I could not connect with completely, like the section „Omnipresence“ on her Christian Faith. Still, I can absolutely recommend it, for it felt very personal and well-thought-out.
Dahi provided me with a free copy of her beautiful poetry collection for exchange for an honest review. What a beautiful collection it is indeed, I absolutely loved the connections to nature and science as it really resonated with me and got me thinking. I was super surprised at how much I enjoyed reading this as poetry is not something I would usually steer towards, however it felt refreshing and heartfelt. I really felt the words I was reading. Magical and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your wonderful words, Dahi.
