If all the world is indeed a stage and men and women merely players, then "The Bloom" is the play. Life’s billion year soliloquy and man’s supporting role is told in five parts, the five acts of a play, and the five stages of a growing flower:
Part I The Garden Part II The Seed Part III The Roots Part IV The Synthesis Part V The Bloom
In the ancient tradition of epic poetry, "The Bloom" is told in a lyrical series of nearly 3,000 lines of poetry; inter-rhyming couplets, a unbroken stream of double-helix verse, the genetic rhyming code of Life’s immense vanquishing of Time.
It is ultimately a spiritual journey, both individual and collective.
I loved reading The Bloom. I haven’t read many books all in verse and I loved the experience. Each part unraveled in delicious prose and I felt transported to each moment in time. Each part has its own story and kept me hooked. I had no idea where the story would go and it’s strange and beautiful end was perfect. I loved how vivid and surreal the journey is.
