I stopped at 16%.
I thought it would be a great book when I read the first chapter. Then the spanking and smacking began till chapter 4. I don't like to discover that the book contains this kind of things. There wasn't any warning below the summary of the story. I found the warning inside the book.

Quick Summary
After Earth tricked his people by sending a deadly virus in the food they disguised as a gift, that wiped out all their females, High Commander Makkx knows they can’t be trusted. But he also knows that if his people have any chance of recovering from their loss, destroying Earth won’t help.
Instead he makes a deal, Earth will provide fertile women as mates for his race. A way to replenish their numbers and stop the very real threat of extinction.
Taking Evie as his mate was a sign of good faith and was meant as a mating of convenience only. That was the plan anyway :)

It was just the right amount of sweet, sexy and safe. You’d think after such a devastatingly bloe from Earth, Makkx would be on the war path against all humans, but he was nothing but devoted to Evie right from the start. This does have some spanking/discipline in the beginning that felt a little stilted – not very sensual/kinky – but it’s just the first bit and then they both settle into the honey moon phase of the story, lol.
There is some drama and some danger (because not everyone is okay with the truce) but this story was fast paced, engaging and had two cute insta-love MCs that were determined to work together and help the Zaxxendrians in any way they can.
I love enemies to lovers and Evie and Makkx’s story will have you rooting for them :) This is a short read so there’s a few things left up in the air that will be continued in future installments and I’m hoping Evie’s father is made accountable soon.

It's a book that had potential. There is a storyline that can go in so many directions, but I felt that the one it went in was weak and left everything very one-dimensional. The Evie's father is the bad guy, but the storyline leaves his character alone. Everyone knows the bad guy comes back to haunt you in the end. A whole plant's female population killed and they only ask for 49?!? Really, are these aliens stupid? Once they get the human females, it's the perfect chance for a little steamy doctor scene to make sure they are fertile and compatible, but no. Not even a scan. Evie's father could have injected all the females with the virus to take with them back too the planet to kill of the remainder aliens, once the humans had perfected it to kill makes and females (or something like that). The author missed out on scenes here. And the ending was just so abrupt.
I just think that this book was a lot of missed opportunities for a better story and plot.

Plot required
This is a reused storyline: unappreciated, neglected daughter sold out by evil father; high ranked alien leader whose resolution is to use Human women to replenish their alien life. But, it's lack of originality was not the weak point of this novel. Instead, it was it very absence of plot and character development. I'm wondering if it's friends and family who penned the glowing reviews or readers for whom the only sexual pleasures they could drive without shame was through a trashy novel. Without sex scenes, this couldn't even be a short short story. To make it worse, the sex scenes are so formulaic along with the brief bit obligatory show of feeble resistance on the heroine's part. This novel is tossed into the piles and piles of generic, formulaic, alien dominance that permeate the romance genre. Not worth the read.

Zaxxenda has lost all their females due to a virus contained in food from Earth. Their leader, Makkx, retaliated against Earth and then demanded females to mate with. Makkx demands the daughter of the leader, Evie but Evie is shocked to find that her father has given her away. Evie decides to make the best of it and starts to fall in love with Makkx. But not all Zaxxendans are happy with this outcome. There is a HEA and I hope that this is the beginning of a new series.

Decent read
The people of Earth poisoned another planet killed off all their women so in order to make peace the aliens demanded fertile women to help repopulate their planet. Evie is the daughter of an important man on earth and the commander demands she be his mate. Many of his people are not okay with this decision and they have lots of obstacles in their way.

What a great story. The world-building and interactions are well done and believable, for a scifi story. I almost wished that Evie’s father had gotten his just desserts but I loved all the twists that really kept the story fresh. A fabulous read.

Poison
A modern take on a love story. Such a horrible way to have to find a mate. I'm glad that they had the time to get to know each other before returning to his planet. I was hoping for more of their story once they got to their new planet!

Alien Property takes bad and makes it good.
I enjoyed getting to know these new and not so different from us aliens. I hope that the love the ruler and his new mate find spills over to help heal the planet.

An enjoyable read
A cowardly attack by the government of Earth against an alien planet results in the aliens attacking Earth and threatening to destroy it. However the ruler of the attacked planet has other plans because he needs to save his people.

Hot hot and I was on my edge of my seat. Fantastic characters and storyline. Very well developed and an exciting read
