Westbrook Blues #1

Reckless Hate

Rate this book
"Deep always calls unto deep. The results? Reckless Hate & Catastrophe."

Westbrook had four boys that ruled my life once.

They were hell raisers.

Cunning Athletes.

Skilled Manipulators.

Hateful Assholes.

Gorgeous gods.

Heartbreakers.

Only I never counted on them breaking my heart as savagely as they did, sending me away when I needed them the most. Making me spiral into a vicious abyss of darkness where I’m haunted by a pair of frosty blue eyes filled with hate.

But now I’m back and this time around, for a reason that makes breathing almost completely impossible.

And if they think I won’t get revenge for my brother—one of the Blue Boys—then they have another kind of hell to face.

Because I’m no longer their little Blue girl from four years ago. . .

RECKLESS-HATE

'RECKLESS HATE' is the first book full length novel in Thandiwe Mpofu's 'Westbrook Blues' series. Spoken in Dual POV's.

5 BLUE CREW STARS: On a whim I one clicked this on release day and only just got to it, after seeing it plastered all over my social media platforms with good feedback it left me feeling glad that I took that plunge on a new to me author.

As soon as I started it I was hooked, if it wasn't for work I would've inhaled this, it wasn't your typical bully story it was so much more and I couldn’t get enough of it, I didn’t want it to end.

It all kick started off in the 'Prologue' where we're introduced to a much younger version of Astraea, a night that irrevocably changed her life forever, which had her banished like a dirty little secret, this took me down a road I wasn't ready for, it's gritty, it's raw, it's heartbreaking, and it left me reeling and wondering what was going to come at me next..

Everyone..And her blue boys included (Ace, Noah and Emmett) thought she had abandoned them, thinking she had walked away from everything they were, even leaving her twin brother behind, but that's not how this story goes.

Then the story jumps..Back to where it all began..

Four years later Astraea is back in town, back to bury her twin, her much loved brother. Supposedly a drunken accident..Or was it?? She's back in a town she despises, a town with secrets, a town that used to hold her loved ones, now it just holds skeletons of the boys she used to know, 4 that became 3, but her 'Blue Boy's' have changed just like her, they used to be her everything, now they are her nothing..

69810856-10157252164776830-417916247934500864-n

Noah Montreal: He is the joker of the group, he's also the one that was her best friend
Emmett Easton: He's the smart, shy boy, the nurturer of the group
Alexander King: He's the ring leader of them all, the boy who would bully her relentlessly.
George: Her twin, her turbo, the better half of her soul.

This book right here ticked all my boxes!! The chemistry between Alex and Astraea was off the charts, it sizzled off the pages, I loved their connection, the hate to love you and the too and fro made for riveting reading and brought out all those angsty feels that I chase in books!! The A-holes that we all claim as our own. The feisty heroine that we end up rooting for, this book had it all and then some!!

70609614-749677045462747-8105856756577468416-n

Like others before me I’ve plunged head first over a cliffy I never anticipated, it’s brutal, it’s a game changer, it’s spiked my anticipation levels through the roof needing, wanting, stalking the next book!

Ones that haven't read this, trust me when I say you need this book in your life, All you bully romance readers out there, this is a must read!!

Thandiwe Mpofu, you are wrong for that shit. Leaving me here like this with all these questions and emotions is evil! 😂 I've always been a fan of sadistic authors though, so it's no wonder I loved that ending.

I'm just kidding. Kind of! I did love it. If I'm going to read a series, I want each book to leave me intrigued enough to want to come back for more. This author definitely accomplished that with Reckless Hate.

The cliffhanger ending has me damn near salivating for book 2 already. My mind is spinning! I feel so many feelings! I need answers! I need to know my babies are going to be okay and that heads are going to roll!

Okay, now that I'm done with my mini meltdown, let me tell you why you need to read this book. It's an awesome bully romance filled with gorgeous alpha assholes and sassy females a.k.a my favorite kinds of characters! There is darkness, betrayal, mystery, violence, hatred, fierce loyalty, beautiful friendships, fucked up families, passion, romance, and steam. It's heartbreaking, heartwarming, interesting, and hot. All of the characters are distinct and complex, and the relationships between them are my favorite thing about this book.

I love the special friendship Astraea has with Noah and Emmett and the intense love/hate relationship she's always had with Ace. Kim seems like the perfect friend for someone like Astraea to have. Fingers crossed, she doesn't wind up disappointing me by being a Brittany repeat. All of their shitty parents are enjoyable to read about, too. They're some messed up motherfuckers, and I can't wait to unravel their web of secrets and lies in future installments!

Bottom line, Reckless Hate is a must read for bully romance fans! Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this one! Put it on your tbr asap!

P. S. Even though I love Ace, I'm head over heels for Noah and Emmett! I hope we get to see them get their HEA too before it's all over! 🤞🏻

Oh Boy

A convoluted mishmash of a bully reverse harem of sorts? Rich kids. exclusive school. blah blah... You know the drill if you are an YA reader.

This one is pretty badly written too. Lots of grammatical errors.

What's worst? That sex scene? WTF??? GF was viciously raped at 13 then shipped off, estranged from all she loved that was now destroyed. She returns when her twin dies under mysterious circumstances. The hero and his crew find out why the heroine they all once loved was so messed up and hated them for not being there for her. They also learn how horrible this trauma was for her. The injuries. To my horror, the author thought it clever to write a weird violent spanking scenario right out of left-field as their first time together. I was so shocked, it nearly made me ill!!! I mean... to what ends will one go to try and include every taboo romance book trend in a story? I was surprised no bikers came riding in to save the poor heroine only to lose her to a cyborg alien!!!

Too much too soon. Story could have been redeemable had the author exercised some restraint, in my opinion. Bad boys are bad boy until they do something good. This guy was barely even nice. This bully push pulling, cold angry possessive thing frightens me sometimes. Simply because so many authors are writing heros that fit the profile of stalker and abusers and romanticizing it.

Story has/had potential. But there was way too much ugly going on to make anything feel good.

And the brooding bad boy thing? Didn't work here. If sex is the only few minutes of respite between two characters of a romance book, then is it really romance? You tell me.

Cover Pic? Gorgeous.

A guide on how to read this book in the most efficient way:

1. Order it.

2. Once arrived, take it with you to a quiet, comfortable room with a nice fireplace.

3. Open the book.

4. Rip everything after the epilogue out and use that shit as a fire starter.

***4,5 reckless "Hateful or full of love?" stars***

"He saw me...and that's all that has ever mattered."

I'm afraid that i will repeat myself, but i hate these goddamn cliffhangers!!!
I HATE them, but still... I can not resist!!! Pffff...
This ending left me panting for more... Damn it, what will happen after all these shits that went down in the end???
I'm losing my mind here!!! Please Thandie, hurry up!!! I need the next book!!!

"The world is small, but my reach is longer."

Well, this was a rough story in a way...
What happened in the heroine in the prolongue was really bad and my heart broke for this little girl that had to suffer this kind of fate...

"I am sorry I let you down, Blue Star."

Four years later, Astraea is returning back to the place that had been wrong her in every aspect because tragedy had struck... Her beloved twin brother is dead. Is it really an accident or there are more behind his death???
And not only that, the rest of the Blue Boys, her blue boys, are giving her a hard time and they might have something to do with her brother's "accident"...
Even though that her flight insticts are telling her to run, she is determined to find out the truth at any cost!!!

"Don’t mistake my absence from your life these past years, as freedom. I still own every inch of that rebellious fire."

Well, i won't say more about the plot, but Thandiwe did a great job in this book...
Honestly, you don't know what to expect in here and the plot is just sucking you in...
You just want more and more...
This story is full of misunderstandings, bad blood, mystery, secrets, betrayal and everything in between...
Of course, there are in here, not only one, but three gorgeous boys that can charm your pants off...
I loved them all very much, but Ace is my favorite!!!
He is pure fire and he is the perfect match for our heroine!!!

“I know these eyes belong to the devil, the spawn of my hate. But they still see me. It’s all I’ve ever wanted. To be seen and he has, since the very first day we met.”

"You try to hide behind others, you are smart but don't want to show it. You see people for what exactly they are but you never judge them. You are my star."

Yes, this story had started as a bully romance, but it is so much more than that...
Whatever are you intent to bring on my way, Thandie, I'm ready!!!
So, bring it on, girl!!! And please hurry up!!! I have no patience!!!

“We lie there with our demons, our secrets, our grief—until I can’t look at her without hating her as much as I do.”

What a HUGE MESS. And here's my pertinent hate:

How can I start? I felt so stupid reading this book, I honestly just "finished" because I wanted to solve the mystery. But I've jumped MANY pages, I garantee. And guess what? NOT WORTH IT.

Seriously, this male protagonist is one of the WORST heroes I've ever met in a NA. I don't know if the author's intention was to make just a bad boy or an UNBEARABLE and clueless idiot. I hate this concept of relationship based entirely on the feeling of ownership. I hate Ace's way of thinking, acting, talking, seeing things, existing. I HATED Ace, and hated the "I suffered more than you and that gives me the right to torment you, even after knowing you suffered as much as I did" syndrome. UGHHHHH hated it.

Other things that bothered me throughout the reading:

1. A lot of grammar mistakes;
2. The events were confusing;
3. Too many big paragraphs of heroine's thoughts - not that interesting thoughts, in my opinion; and EXTREMELY TIRING paragraphs!!!!
4. Couldn't care less about the hero;
5. The book has a latent bad vibe, so I've found myself often uncomfortable, because it all sounded just superficial hate - I get it, it's the proposal, but I didn't like how it was written, idk.
6. I hated the slut-shaming! OK, High school's NAs are known for the stereotyped mean girls and all, but seriously, to keep judging girls from what they are wearing and to give the free "bitch bitch bitch bitch you bitch" treatment? I'm so tired of it! I think this is a disservice.
7. At 53% I was like "when is something going to happen?". Dragged reading.
8. Contradictory feelings!!!
9. No chemistry between the protagonist couple at all! I really found the moments between them lame and poorly planned. Besides, they've kept telling each other they would break each other over and over again, but oh my, I found myself waiting for that forever. It never came.

And I refuse to talk about the sex scene.

I hated how contradictory the heroine was towards the hero when she says she hates him because
Like... Things like these make me doubt what the character is feeling, it's like the author doesn't even know what she really wants to provoke on us, idk. This makes me so irritated, honestly, and also keeps me from sympathizing with the heroine and makes me doubt everything else she says she feels.

These boys were hell raisers.
Cunning athletes.
Skilled manipulators.
Hateful assholes.
Gorgeous gods.
Heartbreakers.

..........AND MINE!! 😂

I claim Ace, Noah and Emmett! Those Blue boys are mine!

Thandiwe Mpofu has just written her best book yet, she had me yelling at her, screaming at my kindle, crying my eyes out and experiencing every emotion possible! I couldn’t read this book fast enough because I needed answers and now the book is over, I have more questions than answers! I love that though, when a book makes you try and pick up on all the little clues the author drops to try and piece everything together, leaving your brain in a pile of mush on the floor!

A tale of deception and devastation, love and lies, hurt and heartbreak and a whole lot of asshole guys.

Astraea, my girl Raea. I love her. That girl, that poor girl has been to hell and back and I have mad respect for her for going to back to her home town and facing her demons head on.

One of those demons are the boys she left behind, The Blue boys.

”Don’t mistake my absence from your life these past years, as freedom. I still own every inch of that rebellious fire.”

Noah Montreal- The joker, the cocky heartbreaker
Emmett Easton - The Silent, Broody observer
Alexander ‘ACE’ King- Cold, Calculating and Lethal

I will warn you though this book is full of triggers, both the guys and girl haven’t had easy pasts, moulding them into who they are today. At times, Reckless Hate isn’t an easy read, but it’s so worth it, because the world that the author builds, sucks you in and swallows you whole until you are right there standing right next to those characters, experiencing every emotion with them.

Reckless Hate is an enemies to lovers, dark suspense that will leave you gasping for more.

I have no idea where the author is taking things with book 2 but all I know is we all better strap in for one hell of a ride because Thandiwe Mpofu is going to steal our breath, make our hearts pound and beg her for more of these infuriating Blue Boys.

What the hell!!! What I just read I was not prepared for! Thandiwe Mpofu came out of nowhere this book and has me addicted. I need more and I need it now!!

From start to finish Reckless Hate had me sitting on the edge of my seat. There was not a single moment I was not glued to this book! Reckless Hate is book one in the Westbrook Blues series, and you will be feeling blue with having to wait for the next book to come out. She should not be allowed to make us wait for book two.

The Blue Boys are everything we love and I could not get enough of them. Ace, Noah and Emmett are unbelievably gorgeous, athletic, manipulative, hateful assholes. But let's not lie, I want each and everyone of them.

Reckless Hate is like any other book Thandiwe Mpofu has written and is hands down my absolute favorite. She just seems to get better and better with every book she writes.

Astraea was 13 when her life shattered, now 4 years later, she's home, but not because she wants to be. She's there for her twin brother's funeral. The boys all believed she abandoned them, her twin included.

Alexander King is the best kind of asshole, alpha and hot AF. And like any true asshole he takes his hurt feeling out on Astraea by being a bully. Cause you know how boys are - I like you so I'm going to be mean.

Astraea and Ace have any interesting relationship. He bullies her in public, but in private there is something else there. The chemistry between Astraea and Alex is sizzling, their love/hate relationship is addicting. Their history completely sucks you in. It leaves you wanting more of them.

There is not a single character in this book that I did not love or feel a connection with. Every single character added something special to the book. I feel like if you would have taken even a side character out the book would have not been the same. Noah and Emmett and Kim are fantastic. I love Noah, even though he is just a secondary character. He is a cocky one, a heartbreaker, but also caring and sweet. They add to the story, they are all addicting.

Mpofu has created an absolute top read! She left me wanting to demand she give me more now!! I cannot wait for everyone to meet this group of characters, falling in love with them just is not an option!!

And now the part we all have a love/hate relationship with, the WTF cliffhanger at the end of the book!

“I know these eyes belong to the devil, the spawn of my hate. But they still see me. It’s all I’ve ever wanted. To be seen and he has, since the very first day we met.”

I was engaged in this story from the prologue.
Raea experiences a very traumatic event and is forced to live overseas leaving her twin brother George and three best friends, Alex, Noah and Emmett.
She returns years later and is thrown back into her and their families elite world. The Blue boys are angry with how she left and she doesn’t understand the hate they spew.

I loved the build of this Westbrook Blues world and the characters so you are emotionally invested in each and their relationships.
They are all broken in some way and hurting.
Many secrets are unveiled and it is heartbreaking.
They are all trying to navigate their own demons while searching for answers of their families deception.

Will love, friendship and loyalty win over tragedy and hate?

“We lie there with our demons, our secrets, our grief—until I can’t look at her without hating her as much as I do.”

Insane and intense cliffhanger. Looking forward to the next!

I REREAD IT WITH THE NEW BONUS SCENES AND IT ‘S FIRE 🔥.

When I first picked-up this book I didn't like it, the first chapter didn't capture my attention so I gave it up.
But then a few days ago I saw some very good reviews about this one, so I decided to give it another chance. I have to say I'm so happy I did it.
After a few more chapters I became so engaged in this book that I couldn't put it down.
This story is so powerful , enriched with some very strong alpa-males but also an as strong and powerful alpha-female .
All the angst , all the resentment but also all the love all came back together with the coming back of Star . The Blues are nothing without their queen. Even if the queen is so damaged and Brocken that you can't almost recognize her. She came back for justice , and she'll not stop until she get it. What she didn't predict was the presence of the only boy she hated and loved so much at the same time :Ace. Her savior but also the one who can destroy her with a blink of an eye .
As important was the relationship with the other two Blues , different with each one of them but strong as ever. Nothing can come between the 4 of them , or at least that's what they thought .
However they didn't considered an important factor : secrets can destroy all of that , even more if there's family and love in between.
I gave this book 4.95 STARS.
I'M ALREDY STARTING THE NEXT ONE,THAT I'M SURE WON'T DISAPPOINT ME ..
ENJOY ;)

Reckless Hate by Thandiwe Mpofu

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5 STARS

Thandiwe Mpofu is a new author to me, Reckless Hate being my first read from her, and it was MINDBLOWING. I didn't expect any of that. It was everything I wanted, everything I search in a book. Addicted, Hot, Dark, Bully and Suspenseful.
Reckless Hate is the first book in the Westbrook Blues series and it's written in dual POV.

Astraea was 13 when she was forced to leave everything behind. Her friends, her home, her family, even her twin brother. Everyone thought she abandoned them, but it wasn't like that.
Now after 4 years, she is back to her twin brother funeral.

Alexander King is our tipical hero, or should I say A-Hole. He is everything we, bookwhores want and search in a book. Gorgeous as sin, bully, A-Hole, athletic, lethal, and Hot AF. And he is out for Astraea's blood.

The chemistry and the attraction between them is mindblowing. The writing was very good. The secondary character were addictive and the make the story way more beautiful, because every each one of them has a story to be told.

A dark bully enemies to lovers book, full with suspense, action, drama and heat.

I need more Right NOW

An up and down book but mainly well written.

Soap opera drama throughout and especially in the final showdown before the to be continued ending.

The h is abused terribly 4 years ago and comes back to town after the death of her brother. We learn that she and her twin brother were in a group with 3 other boys. They all adored her but the one who loved her was never actually nice to her. Of course she loves him back but does hate how he’s treated her over the years and currently. I don’t like the mistreating people but actually love them storyline.

They are mixed parts happy to see her back but also angry at the way they thought she abandoned them 4 years ago.

Lots of secrets.

Finally the guys find out what actually happened to h and then we discover it was not her choice to leave those years ago. Luckily this was all revealed publicly by the evil party with lots of witnesses and in great detail (insert eye roll)

It finished on a cliff hanger. I am wanting to read the next book to see how this goes

This book..oh my..it's perfect
It has darkness, mistery and that feeling you get when you don't know what the hell is gonna happen.
I loved it from the start, from chapter one I just couldn't put it down and all I wanted was to know more.

Ace and Star are something special. Years have passed 'till they meat again and everything isn't the same anymore. There's so much going on between these two and so much has happened.
There are so many secrets on this story and that's what captivates you the most while reading it.

It was my first book from Thandie and I also had the honor of reading it a little bit earlier. It's been a long time since I've read anything like this.

Astraea, she's so unique. Worthy of admiring. Such a brave girl but so wounded; strong, determinate and sassy. So real, I cried for her and for everything she had to face. One of the best heroines I've read and so well written.
Alex, so pissed off with the world, with him with his life. So a dark and broody but with a huge heart that he would do everything he can to protect her no matter what.
Emmet, I'm still trying to figure this one. Too quiet yet so calculated.
And last but not least, Noah, the hottie and Mr. Popular. I must admit he's one of my favs, but I know that behind that goofy attitude there's more, secrets and feelings that we still don't know about.

The Blue Boys, you are not ready for them or for what's coming. Be prepared because Westbrook's walls are full of secrets.

Thandiwe Mpofu is a new to me author. This book is a great start to what is gonna be an exciting and epic series.

Alex and Astraea have a tumultuous love/hate relationship. The secondary characters are a great addition as they fill the pages with a whole lot of brooding and sexiness.

Reckless Hate will have you hooked from the first few pages. It broke me at the prologue and continued to the very end. I couldn’t help but devour it in one day. I was on the edge of my seat as the story was so intense and the emotions and intrigue you feel will have you captivated and turning page after page till you get to the very end.

Thandiwe takes the ya bully type romance to a whole different level. This story is full of suspense as you wonder who, what and why throughout the book. I can’t wait for the next book as the bomb that is dropped at the end will have you anticipating more. Yassss to this book!! I highly recommend it!i

Thandiwe I am currently not speaking to you for how you left me with that epic cliffhanger. Like holy crap I need answers and I need them NOW.

The Blue Boys will have you swooning while making them want to punch them in the face.

The tension, drama, and intrigue had me sucked in from page one, but now I'm left with more questions than answer so give me all the words.

I cannot wait to see what happens next because holy crap, did I mention how insane the cliffy was?

This is the PERFECT YA bully romance.

This story is brilliantly wrapped in suspense and emotion. The entire book had me on the edge of my seat. I lost sleep because I had to keep turning the page to see what happened next.

The entire book will have you asking who, what, how, why. The emotional pull is so intense it will have you gasping for air with the characters. Heart pounding suspense.

I was gripped from the prologue. I could not put this book down.

This is my first book by Thandie Mpofw and it will definitely not be the last.

Fair warning, this book has a cliffhanger, and holy wow is it a cliffhanger.

I was shocked, mouth-open, jaw dropped shocked at the last page. I kept flipping back and forth like more pages would appear.

Thandie Mopfw definitely knows how to capture a reader’s attention, hold it within her grasp and never let it go.

I highly recommend this book and cannot wait for the rest of the series.

I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. Hmm where do I start with this book, well first this was my very first book by this author and I truly impressed with her writing and mind. So many different things happened in this book its hard to keep up but you will definitely be glued to your seat you won't want to take a break with this one it's thats good and interesting. Now as for main chacters. I Always fall for meanest of them in this case that happens to be Ace aka Alex. But I also have soft spot for Emmett and Noah. As for girls I instantly liked Kim she's so much like me it's crazy. Star is a sweetheart but I also know she has mean side. I can't wait for book two!!

Unbelievable! 🤯 This was just so OMG! unbelievable good and dark 🖤🖤🖤
This first book in the series was so unbelievable gripping and terrible creepy at the same time, I'm completely stunned how good is was. I'm completely flabbergasted about the way this book has been written and what it did with me 🤯😭
It was so gripping and exciting that I was constantly on the edge. The main characters (and there are more than two of them) are young adults (17-19), who had to grow up fast, much faster than normal teenagers should, in the world they were born into. A rich town with hierarchies, that are complicated to explain and own laws that are ruled by the 3 founder families.
The first chapter shocked me, because it was so completely not what I expected at the beginning of a book and so not like other Thandies books.
This dark story address, in addiction to many other cruelties, the topic of sexual abuse. WOW, it's so damn ridiculous authentic written, you're captivating and swept up it the world of depressions and hate. You're just in the story and you're one of them.
Star and Ace are an complicated "couple" and that's putting it mildly, but so damn explosive 🔥🔥🔥
They fight and they break together, but they are not able to give up control or reveal their feelings. This book is so ridiculous good ☻🖤
I don't know how to describe this book without spoiling it for you. So please read it and enjoy this crazy ride 😍❤😘
I'm already waiting for the second book in the series 🤨
Hurry up Thandie 😉😘

Before I dive into this book. There are triggers.
Sexual Assult
Drug Use
Underage Drinking, Sex, Drugs
Drug Addiction
Mental Health
Suicidal Thought/Attempted Suicide
Overall Dark Themes
Some of these have scenes, but others are mentioned to the back story of a character.
💙
Phew, got the business out of the way. This book takes off and just keeps on moving. There are few to no breaks during this read. You get sucked in and can not make it out. I will mention that there were some editing items that needed to be addressed in the version I read. For me they did impact the story.
💙
I'm beginning to suspect Thandie is a sadist, we are left with more and more questions and very few answers. Especially with the massive Cliffy, she dropped on us.
💙
I've now read all 4 of Thandie's books since her career has started. Her growth is incredible as an author, and I believe this series is going to kill it. She has given you a world, of drama, suspense, the fine line between love and hate, relationships, pain, joy, the real, lust...oohhhh the lust, and so much more. However, there are issues with the story; repetitive monologues, grammar, editing, uncomfortable sex, and potential plot holes.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 STARS

"He saw me...and that's all that has ever mattered."

This book has set the foundation to an amazing series! Reckless Hate may be categorized as a young adult/new adult romance, but it touches on issues that are dark and suspenseful. After reading the prologue, I was so captivated by the author's writing style and all the gut wrenching emotions she made me feel for what happened to Astraea.

Throughout the book, the framework is set to which families are the Westbrook Elite, who the Blue Boys are and what really happened to Astraea's brother, George. There is a ton of drama and angst that will keep you entertained.

I loved reading this first book to the Westbrook Blues Series by Thandiwe Mpofu and I can't wait for the next instalment! Heads up...this book ends in a cliffhanger. Reckless Hate by Thandiwe Mpofu is an EPIC read and will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

This book was not what I expected it to be. It was different and so much more than another high school bully romance.I loved it. From first to last page it kept me on edge,I couldn’t stop reading it. I didn’t expected this book to start the way it did, and I’m still a little bit mad about that cliffhanger, because I need second book in the series right now! I can’t wait to see what happens next ✨
After four years Astraea is back in Westbrook Blues. Her relationship with her parents is anything but good, her twin brother is dead and three guys she grew up with betrayed her when she needed them the most. I don’t want to talk about other things happening in this book because I don’t want to spoil it. I really liked Astraea, she is broken, flawed but at the same time so strong. Her and Ace together are everything and their relationship is so unique.
I can’t wait to read more about them and other characters too, specially Noah (the tooth 🧚‍♀️)

This book needs serious editing, so many spelling mistakes and bad grammar it gets distracting. Hopefully book 2 will have proper editing before release.
